I always got the impression that Pippa was born in the early 1950s, so my guess would be around 59-62 years of age now. Ther was talk of when Tom first saw Pippa she was only young. I'm sure she was only about 35 when it started. Ailsa and Celia were about the same age as Tom with Alf being couple of years older. Tom was born in 1948 as his 40th birthday was celebrated at the start of 1988. Ailsa was born in 1950, Morag was born in 1948 and I think Ceila was either born in 1950 or 1951 and as I alluded to earlier, Pippa was most likely born in the early 1950s even though both of the actresses who played her were born in the late 1950s.
