Thank you all for your comments. Sorry it took so long for this chapter. I had most done during the week but was just wrecked by the time I'd get home from Uni to write any more. It's longer than usual for you! Hope you like it.

Chapter Seventeen

School was starting in five minutes. Ruby walked slowly into the doors and everyone rushed past her instead of getting into trouble for being late for class. The head boy and head girl had arranged a Valentines Day for the school and had decorated the corridors with all things associated with the holiday. As she walked down the corridor, she saw Belle and Aden kissing, before Belle went into her classroom. Ruby smirked and ran up to catch up with Aden.

“Well well well…Back together I see?” Ruby winked as Aden ignored her walking away to his class.

“Does she know about your involvement?” Ruby shouted after Aden who stopped.

Aden turned around and stormed back to Ruby “You keep your mouth shut. I mean it, Ruby.”

“What are you going to do about it?” Ruby laughed. Aden didn’t reply. Ruby smiled and walked away leaving Aden scared that she would tell Ruby about his idea of ruining Belle’s life after what she did. Aden knew it would be better if he got to Belle before Ruby did, it was just something he never wanted to do…

* * * * *

Belle seemed quiet for most of the day, something Aden had noticed. He was worried about her. Coming clean about his part in the pictures wouldn’t help her mood. And since it was a special day for them and he was cooking a meal for her, he wasn’t sure if today would be a great time to tell her.

“Is everything alright babe?” Aden asked, knowing she wasn’t but had to show he cared.

“Oh, um. Yeah, sure” Belle replied, obviously down about something that she didn’t want to get into.

“Belle, come on. We are your friends” Ruby said, grabbing her hand supporting her. “And we wont have much time with Geoff since he is leaving this weekend. We want to make it the best week ever. So he will come home!”

Geoff chuckled “I will be coming back.”

“You better man, I don‘t want to be stuck with two chicks!” Aden smirked which was followed by evil glares from the girls. “But lovely ones at that!” he added turning to redeem himself

“That is better!” Nicole laughed and looked at Belle, getting a small smile “Aww, Belle. What is wrong?”

“Annie…” Belle began looking at her friends. “She overheard myself and Ruby fighting the day after Drew and I…”

“When was this?” Geoff asked.

“The day she sat beside me in class. I went after her and we were fighting about it.” Belle explained “Annie overheard our conversation. I‘m just thinking about the example I‘m setting for Annie”

“Belle, it was one mistake” Geoff assured her “We all make mistakes”

“You know what Annie is like. Here I am, pictures, other guys… It‘s a horrible example I‘m setting”

Aden couldn’t help but laugh “Annie is her own person. You are a great person Belle. Don‘t ever think you are any less.”

Belle had found some comfort. Aden was right. While she had made mistakes before, it was a new day and a new start. She had her friends back and her boyfriend back. She wasn’t going to loose them ever again.

“Everything is out in the open now” Nicole smiled “Time to look ahead”

While the other chatted about future, Aden felt uneasy. Everything was prefect now. But once Ruby got to Belle, it would fall apart again. He needed to tell her and he need to tell her soon.

Geoff and Nicole wanted to the last few days fun and exciting Everyone gathered at The Beach House. Irene was working until late so it was just the gang for the afternoon and one extra guest.

Belle came into the living room with a surprise guest. “You all know Drew…”

“Hey guys!” Drew smiled

Aden seemed weary at first but soon was getting along with Drew. After all that had happened in the past couple of weeks it was good to spend time with friends. It was like Drew and Aden had been friends for years, rather than enemies.

It turned out to be a great afternoon. The movies were good and they had a great time. Drew left soon after the movie was over after Aden invited him to sit with them at lunch from now on.

“Guys, we are off now. Enjoy the rest of your day!” Belle smiled and gave Nicole a hug.

“Use protection dude!” Aden smirked walking out of the house holding Belle’s hand.

Geoff closed over the door. He walked over to Nicole, looking into her eyes. He was going to miss her when he left.

“I have something special for you” Geoff smiled and reached behind the armchair.

“Geoff!” Nicole laughed “We promised no gifts…But I‘m glad you did, because I did also” She added before reaching into her bag.

“Happy Valentines Day, Nic”

Nicole sat on the chair as she opened big card from Geoff. Nicole broke down into tears once she started to read his message.

Geoff laughed “Read out loud so I can hear how romantic I am”

“To my dearest Nicole. Since you entered my life, you have changed me. You turned my world upside down and I would never change that. You have made me what I have am today. We have had our ups and downs, like every couple and always came out the other end. We have a fantastic future together. I can picture us now. A little house with two little children running around. We‘ll have the prefect life. Each day I see, you I smile. You bring out the best in me. I love you with all my heart. Love you always, Geoff.”

“Bam! I‘m a genius” Geoff chuckled as Nicole gave him a hug and a kiss.

“You didn’t think that was all, did you?”

Geoff reached into his pocket. He took out a small box and got down on one knee. Nicole’s heart skipped a beat. She knew what was coming next and she knew exactly what she would answer.

Geoff was smiling looking at Nicole giggling and smirking “Nicole Franklin, will you…Will you marry me?”

Nicole jumped into Geoff’s arms, causing him to fall over. “YES!” she screamed as loud as she could “Yes yes!! Of course I will”

After a couple of minutes, Nicole finally composed herself. They sat on the couch, Nicole gleaming at the diamond ring on her finger. They were both young, both still in school, but it just felt right. They pushed all the ideas that young marriages wouldn’t work out the window. This one was going to work.

“I have no idea how to top this…” Nicole replied sadly handing Geoff an envelop

He opened it and took out a piece of paper reading “See you in London!”

“You‘re coming?!” Geoff asked reading the paper for a second time.

Nicole laughed “Yes, I am! All arranged. I‘m even on your flight!”

“Oh, this is the best present ever” Geoff said thanking Nicole. “This trip is going to be amazing”

Overall, Geoff and Nicole had the best Valentines day. They were engaged and Nicole was off to London with Geoff. It really couldn’t get much better than this. Life was prefect for the pair.

“Can I open my eyes yet?” Belle begged as Aden walked her into his house.

“Just a second babe” Aden laughed as she seated her on a chair. “Now open!”

Belle stared blankly at the television screen “…Erm, okay…”

“Well I was just kidding about the whole keep your eyes closed. I like teasing you!” Aden winked.

“Aden!” Belle shouted at him “Why do you always kid around”

“Because I love you, Belle Taylor.” Aden replied turning on the television “This is for you”

Aden pressed play on the video machine and sat down beside Belle who was intrigued by what he had planned.

“Hi Belle! It‘s me” was the first thing that played on the screen as Belle laughed while Aden blushed “I can‘t believe I sound like that”

“Well, I was at a loss of what to get you because we have done the romantic dinner and a movie and the great sex afterwards. Then the jewellery. I wanted to do something different. To show how much I actually care…”

Aden paused the video “Before we continue, remember I did quit art classes!”

“This is for you, I spend the last couple of days making it and filmed this video this afternoon after just getting up. But you do like that whole out of bed look.”

Tears strolled down her face as Aden opened up a book he had put together of their relationship. He had little stories that had happened, pictures he had drawn and photographs of them. It was the sweetest thing anyone had ever done for her.

“Now, I‘ll give you this book in person…and you can do what you want with it. You know, bin it…whatever”

Aden pulled a bag from under the couch which had the album in it. He handed it to bed as she looked over it crying but laughing at the same time. The video finished and Aden turned it off.

“Aden…” Belle smiled reading the scrap book “This is fantastic! I love it. Thank you so much”

“You‘re welcome. I‘m just glad you liked it” Aden replied while giving her a hug

“I wish I could be as sweet and romantic as you” Belle complained as she opened the front door bringing in Aden’s gift

“A new surfboard!” Aden’s face lit up as he ran over to it looking at how great it looked. “The one I had wanted for so long. Thank you so much!”

“No problem. Glad you like it!”

“Like it? I love it! Gonna have to take you out on it now” Aden laughed while Belle shook her head “Not a chance” she said.

“This has been the greatest day ever” Belle smiled as she and Aden walked hand in hand over to the couch.

Aden knew she would find out about his involvement in the pictures being released all over the school. He had to tell her but didn’t want to ruin her day. Aden had gone into a world of his own, he wasn’t even listening to Belle any more and she had noticed.

“So yeah I was thinking of us being together isn‘t such a great idea”

“What?” Aden panicked coming back into the conversation

Belle smirked “I knew you weren‘t listening. You have been all weird when we are alone lately, what is going on?”

“Nothing, everything is fine” Aden replied, giving her a kiss on the cheek “Nothing to worry about”

“If something is going on, I want to know about it. Are you in some kind of trouble?” Belle asked, getting worried about what he was keeping from her

“No, Belle. Lets just enjoy today!” Aden said begging her to drop the subject.

Belle was getting angry. “Tell me what is going on now”

“It will just lead to a fight and on Valentines day, I don‘t want that to happen. We can discuss it another time”

“I don‘t care if you had to keep me something from me and it was our wedding day, anniversary, the day someone close died - I would want to know. And I want to know what you are keeping for me now”

Aden didn’t reply, leading Belle to get more annoyed at him. She stood up and grabbed her things “Fine, today is over. Call me when you want to tell me what is going on” she shouted walking towards the door.

“The pictures!” Aden blurted out immediately.

“What pictures?” Belle asked as he began walking over to her

“Your pictures you took with Drew…It was my fault they ended up all over the school”

Tears formed in Belle’s eyes. The one person she thought she could trust and wouldn’t do something like this was Aden.

“Belle, I‘m so sorry! I was really angry and Ruby -”

“Ruby?!” Belle snapped “What does she have to do with this?”

“She wanted revenge on Drew and I wanted to get you back. I was upset -”

“Shut up, Aden” Belle replied interrupting him again “Come on, we are going out!”

Awwww Aden is just too sweet and romantic, too bad Valentine's Day was ruined by his mistake. Loved the adelle fluff, I'm glad they got back together, I hope it lasts though.
