Jack was flipping through the newspaper when suddenly something caught his eye. It was perfect, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 acre of garden and in summer bay!

‘Hey, Maccey look!’ Martha walked over and put her arm on his shoulder, Jack kissed it

‘Are you seeing what I’m seeing’ said Martha excitingly

‘Yep, and its only 500,000!’

‘Wow, shall we go and see it today?’

‘Sure’

Jack got up and put his plate in the dishwasher and began to clear the sides.

‘You know, I am so lucky to have a guy who actually does that!’

‘Ill do anything for you!’ Jack went up to her and kissed her on the lips.

‘Is it ok if I go to Tony’s for I have to drop something off’ Jack said, he knew it was about time for Martha to do her pregnancy test and he had a feeling that she didn’t want him to be here

‘Jack...do …you think… you...could stay….cause...well….i want to do ….the pregnancy test’

‘Are you sure, you don’t want to be alone?’

‘No, just stay, please’

‘Ok sweetie, whatever you want’

Martha had been in the bathroom for 5 minutes when she finally came out. She laid the stick on the table then went over the sofa, where Jack was sitting

‘Baby, you do know that I will stick with you no matter what happens’

‘I no Jack’

They kissed. While they were kissing the beeper went off

‘Can you go honey’ said Martha, obviously scared of the result

‘Are you sure?’

‘Please’

‘Ok sweetie’ Jack walked over, he tried to say to himself he didn’t mind but he knew he did, he would be devastated if it said ‘Not pregnant’ on the stick. But luckily he wasn’t it said ‘pregnant’

‘Honey, were going to have a baby!’

Martha felt a sudden happiness, no one could describe, just like she had felt when she and Jack got married. She rushed up to him and kissed him passionately.

‘I love you, so much baby, and you!’ she patted her stomach.
