They had booked an ultrasound for 10.00. ‘Are you nervous honey?’ said Jack ‘Yer I am’ ‘Are you sure you want to do this?’ ‘I'm sure’ They opened the door and went up to the receptionist ‘Hey we’ve booked an ultrasound for 10:00 with Dr. Roberts’ said Jack ‘Ok she’ll be out in a few minutes, if you could just fill in this form’ Jack and Martha filled in the form then handed it back in. A few minutes later Dr. Roberts came in. ‘Hello Martha and Jack! Flynn told me how he thought you were going to be amazing parents!’ Martha and Jack smiled ‘follow me’ They went into a big room with lots of equipment ‘Martha could you lye down on here please?’ ‘Sure!’ Dr Roberts spread some jelly on to Martha’s stomach and turned the switch on. Martha grabbed Jack’s hand ‘It’s alright sweetie, don’t worry everything’s going to be fine’ said jack ‘Promise me?’ ‘I promise’ ‘It’s safe Martha, really’ said Dr. Roberts ‘I no, I’m just worried about the baby’ Dr. Roberts smiled sympathetically. She placed the stick on to Martha’s stomach and rolled it around. A picture you could just make out to be a baby flashed on to the screen. Martha and Jack smiled widely at each other. ‘It’s a beautiful boy! There is its head, oh and look there’s its hands!’ said Dr Roberts, pointing to the screen. ‘It’s amazing!’ said Martha Dr Roberts smiled ‘everything’s fine with it, its perfect!’ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I love shopping!’ ‘Alright’ Jack smiled They walked into the shop hand in hand. They looked around for newly born, it was right at the back. ‘There so small!’ said Martha fingering a dress, she would of wanted a girl ‘Maccey did you want a girl?’ ‘Well yer kind of’ ‘There always next time!’ ‘I thought you only wanted one?’ Martha asked hopefully ‘Well you were wrong!’ Martha hugged Jack hard, she was so pleased ‘That ones cute!’ Martha picked up a little red suit with white dots on. ‘He’s obviously going to be the fashionablist baby of the season!’ Jack said, Martha playfully swatted him ‘Yes he is!’ They looked around a bit more and found all the essentials, clothes, nappies, toys and last of all the perfect cot. They brought it and loaded it all into their car (they didn’t have that horrible car Jack had, they had a SUV!) ‘I'm so excited’ Martha practically screamed Jack lent into kiss her ‘it’s going to be amazing!” Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
