But she was once regular and think she was kinda semi regular in mid 2000s.
-
Most of them were guest characters so I say probably not.
-
Despite technically being the same character Roo of today's show is a completely different character to Roo in the 80s.
-
Marilyn centrally has had great character development.

Doris Peters - Gwen Plumb

It’s hard to imagine the Stewart’s family in 1988 without Celia. Celia was the one that did not give up on Roo and fought long and hard to get Roo and Alf talking again . -
It’s not like Chloe had been on the show any longer than the average character.
-
But Dean has done some questionable things that were not Colby related. Dean once knocked over 73 year old Alf. Sure Dean didn't mean to knock him down as he was running in the Surf Club but he didn’t stop to see if he was okay. As much as I love Dean and Dean how is he now would probably stop to help Alf if he knock him over by accident.

I guess if Joe had stayed long term he would be paired with single mums like Shelley/Beth/Gina /Roo(Though not single mum).

Evelyn "Evie" MacGuire - Philippa Northeast

Evie was pretty much the same as Matt as both were underused in their final 10 months. I think the plan was for them was to leave together from the beginning once all their era had left. -
I think despite not coming across as the nicest girl Amber is a decent person and is not going to be a crazy villain like Charlotte. You could tell form the start Charlotte was going be a crazy villain.

But on car that Ari was driving the number plate said NSW if memory serves correctly?. .

Irene once again has change her personality overnight she now back to being written as meek character like she was around 2010-2012. I noticed Irene character changers her temperament every few years as for few years she is hot headed and brash and she changers to more meek and softer temperament and for better example Irene being more like Lynne.
-
At least characters in there 20s in recent years had personality. Problem with early years it was so obvious when character was underused like Nick/Matt/McPhee’s /Roxy. Normal at least in current show characters are in background when they are long term and therefore you can understand why they won’t get storyline’s every minute or if character be around for few years and is on there way out.
-
Nick was very nice guy but like lot of younger characters back in that era they were all bit too bland and not didit have much personality.
-
Because they lost interest in his character and more interested in his brother.
-
I have completely forgotten who she was?. Can someone please re fresh my memory?.
-
I rewatched Ailsa death episode and despite both Ailsa and Irene being in episode and both being at event being held they didn’t share screen together . Does anyone know what Ailsa and Irene final screen together was in 2000?. Ailsa and Irene is my favourite friendship on show and they would had so much potential in later years .
-
I don’t like her as she is very rude and has very bitter outlook on life.
-
Is Matt Wilson considered official original character as I know Matt appears in Pilot briefly but he doesn’t appear in original cast photo and yet Celia and Roo are in photo despite not appearing in pilot?.
-
Irene was cleared and so they would be destroyed. Besides why would Irene rob her own business.

Roo Stewart - Justine Clarke & Georgie Parker
j.laur5 replied to RooStewart's topic in Character/Actor Discussion
But even if they do bring back her daughter Martha, she will be in the spotlight for about 10 minutes either Martha will leave again after the guest role or even if Martha did return as regular and once Martha settled back into the Bay and then she'd just be Martha's listening ear with Martha's latest love drama. As for bringing in a new husband or even bringing back Frank then it just becomes like it was with Roo and Harvey became the couple in the background and eventually her husband would either leave in a box or by leaving the Summer Bay sign whether by choice or inside a Police van. By no means saying I want Roo to leave but just saying I think there’s better stories for Roo as an individual. I'd like Roo to get a new foster child as Roo bonding so well with Maddy. -
These days people are staying at home until their 30s with rent being so expensive and if they have disabilities.

Alison Patterson - Kathryn Ridley
j.laur5 replied to Homeandawayfan.'s topic in Character/Actor Discussion
I just mean that so often when a character comes back on a soap they are either written nothing like they were before or their character's history is rewritten. Other than Alison being a school mate of Roo I don’t see any reason for her to return.
