I disagree, I think Colby/Dean/Jasmine/Willow are most likeable characters in long while.

But I think deep down Morag didn’t hold it against Bobby wrecking Ruth's dress after finding out she was using Frank and the baby was not hers . Even thought Morag would never admittedly say Bobby was right and Ruth was wrong. I think even 80s Morag had moral ground .

Before they knew they were mother and daughter, at Alan's will reading Morag was civil towards Bobby when reading her what Alan had left her.

Poor Lynne as writers just don’t seemed to know how to write Irene as when she first return it look like she likeable again and now they seemed to be turning her into new Colleen Smart. Why cant they write Irene character good anymore?.

Just like Hannah as Hannah was very likeable at first but after year become unlikeable.

Before Zoe was revealed as the stalker I thought she was a modern day Marilyn.

When ever i see photo or video of Vanessa i always feel Pippa has more chemistry and class. While Debra might made more of simple motherly hen character but however i think Vanessa did give Pippa more depth and made Pippa more dimensional character then Debra. While Debra seemed better in dramatic screens but however i think Vanessa was better at giving Pippa more personality and characteristic. I always love how in 80s Pippa was never scared to tell other adult characters to shut up like Celia and Morag but both characters did deserved since they were pretty childish at times.

I love parallel universe episodes where Alisa is still alive in 2019. Maybe it can be a dream Alf has of Alisa still being alive.

I can't believe it's almost been ten years since Pippa's last appearance. I believe her last appearance was to cover Irene's storylines like supporting Belle through rehab as I believe Lynne didn't finish her scenes in time as she was due in UK to do panto.

Maggie is also their age. I don't think John is anything like Alf in the 90s.

I agree and I think Ruth run her course as well as much I like Ruth character but after Maddy left she just floating around and Georgia taking so much time of this year it feels like Ruth neither here or there. As for Marilyn it feels like we no longer have funny classic character anymore I do realise you mature as aged but it’s just not same Marilyn anymore and kind of think it might be better if Emily had quit in 2015 and wrote John out too and maybe they could left to live with near Jett. As for John he just around to deliver he 2 cents in random screens. I know can stay same about Alf/Leah/Irene but all be around over 2 or 3 decades and they more feel solid members of town.

The thing that bothers me most with Irene in recent years it's how inconsistently her character is written, one minute she 's written giving good advice and the next minute she is just everything from being childish and rude. Lynne is a very nice lady and is a professional actress so she just does what she's told but it's shame how badly written Irene's character is.

I have noticed Phoebe seems popular on Instagram but not very popular on this forum. I have to admit I definitely can understand why she was not very well liked and I think it was very fitting for her to leave when she got a better opportunity and how quickly she found a new boyfriend so soon after moving to LA. Even if Phoebe had stayed I couldn’t see Phoebe and Justin working for the long haul.

I wish Debra Lawrence had played Pippa from the beginning since Debra would likely have not quit in 1990 and stayed till 1998. That way we would just have had one actress as Pippa. I still like Vanessa Downing better but if Debra was not going to quit in 1990 I think I would preferred Debra to had be cast in 1988. .

I think Dean is nothing like Heath or Andy and I think More like Matt with his cheeky and smart mouth, and more like Kyle in being fearless and protective.

I think it would have been better to bring in a brother of Colby. That way Ryder could have had a male friend and Coco might have had a boyfriend.

I just feel she is running out of steam now and it’s starting to feel like she has run her course . Who agrees?.

I hope she does not at least not as this stage as we got eough characters like Irene/Maggie /Marilyn/Leah and Ruth.

Mason really is the most underused character in terms of interaction with other characters and storylines. Sometimes I forget he's even still on the show!

She just feels like a plot device to give Colby a storyline.
