Quite clearly you are somehow obsessed with Ailsa and old H&A characters and like to post about the old times a LOT . I hope Tachel don't turn into Alf and Ailsa personally. I think actually that is the most random question ever !! Well you got to remember old days and remember classic characters like Ailsa as she was Summer Bay's heart and soul. Ailsa died but she's not forgotten. Oh yes I love old timers like Ailsa and Pippa because they are adult characters and they are played by actors that can act. There's nothing wrong with liking old timers. I never forget classic characters like Ailsa and Pippa.

Until last night I was thinking that Rachel's character had run her course but I think after showing how caring and helpful she was towards Irene and Belle, we need her.

I think Morag probably got on best with Irene conpared to all the other ladies on the show like Ailsa, Pippa, Colleen and Shelley. Morag helped Irene get custody of Olivia and she helped her find out about Josie. I'd say out of all ladies Morag has met on the show she has got on best with Irene, Beth, Marilyn, Leah and Sally.

I'm not sure if this is right but I've read that Vanessa Downing quit because of Roger Oakley's departure. Colleen made her first appearance in episode 36 and only stayed for a few months. She returned as a guest in 1997 then left and became a regular in 1999. Yes thats reason why Vanessa left and iam very surpise she quit just becouse Roger left and it got me thinking maybe Vanessa had carsh on Roger or something. My sister kept magazine form 1990 and in magazine there was saying that Vanessa was leaving and Vanessa said why she was leaving becouse and she said i love playing Pippa and working on home and away but its just non shame without Roger and thats why iam leaving.

I know that this may come across as a silly question but I watch a lot of 2000 episodes and noticed that every fortnight a regular character left. So a total of 12 characters left in 2000. Why did so many characters leave in one year?

I don't really like her and I hope she does not become regular.

I love Belle, I hope she stays on the show for many years to come.

Who thinks Tony and Rachel should leave after the baby is born? I do. I think once the baby is born Tony and Rachel should sail out of Summer bay with their new baby and live happily ever after. Because I think they got no more purpose left on show. I really think their characters have run their course, then we could bring in a new family to the house.

Oh well Sam got Jack in end becouse they propley back togeather in heaven.

I re-watched 2000 episodes and I've realised how underrated Shelley was. She was such a good character and was such a good Pippa replacement. I loved scenes when she was with her kids and her friends Ailsa and Irene.

Who thinks Matilda is going to return to the show in a couple of years?

Irene is my all time favourite character and Lynne McGranger is a wonderful actress. I used to fear the day Alf would no longer be in the bay to save it from someone who is trying to turn it into a dump. But I know now Irene would be there to protect it . Because Irene hasn't only become the next Ailsa and Pippa but she's also the female version of Alf Stewart.

I love Hugo to death, he's the big brother that I always wanted.
