Watched a remake of Friday the 13th the other night and thought it was brilliant!!

So it starts monday on E4 and I don't know whether I should bother watching really. I am not really into musicals or stuff like that but everybody is saying that its amazing so I just don't know

Its hardly turning into Skins nor Hollyoaks , they only had 1 episode centred around the teens ! I agree I think rather than promote the web drama on the main show they are demoting it by showing how crap and annoying the main characters are I loved all the fighting in tonights episode especially when Whitney sorted that Zsa Zsa out and I really didn't think Sam would ever go as far as she is accusing Peggy of murder it just makes me hate her even more really, although I will hand it to her , her acting has improved so so much since her initial return.

- and that they're not imitating H&A's incredibly lame murder mystery that had a . Boring. Thats not even the best part!! Apparently we will

I think the reason shes upset is that she actually loves him, just because Darren cheated on her doesn't make her stop caring really. I haven't seen Zsa Zsa yet either and I've never liked Adam he really really annoys me! Darren used to get on my nerves a lot as well actually but I think I've started to warm to him.

OMG I am sooooo happy !!

I don't know why people are all for "Chryed" in my opinion the whole thing is just as bad as the Max/Stacey affair which I know you can't really compare to. But still Syed had an affair and lied to his whole family, so for me I just cannot warm up to this relationship. I think that for them to get together would be wrong purely because it is prime example of Adultery and deceit. I don't find them sweet at all, they may be in love and they may share a few "awwww" scenes together but it still doesn't excuse the nitty gritty facts 1. Syed is still CHEATING! It doesn't matter that he doesn't want to be with Amira, the fact is he is and so he is still therefor betraying her. 2. He is contradicting his own beleifs 3. He was going behind his families backs and lying to them! In my opinion after the first Kiss which was on Syed's behalf, Christian should have backed off a bit instead of allowing Syed to persue... they weren't in love then, they fell in love afterwards. Christian knew the moment it all became complicated and so he should have broken it off with Syed instead of allowing his heart to get broken later on down the road. I just hope that their affair doesn't continue, and if it does then we need to see the ramifications of what would happen because in a Muslim society something like this for Syed would be pretty hard to deal with as he risks loosing everything. Its not so simple. You slate Syed for lying to his family and everyone but you also said how hard it would be for him in a muslim society if everyone found out.If lying is what it takes for him to keep his family and be a tiny bit happy then I am not sure what other choice he has. Obviously Syed is completely torn in all sorts of directions! He is torn between the man he really truly loves , if he wants a relationship with him then his mother and possibly the rest of his family disown him. I don't agree with the cheating but to be fair he is only doing it with everybodys best interests at heart at the end of the day. I know that sounds stupid but hes with Amira to keep everyone else happy even though its making him unhappy. This is a very very complicated situation and its not just black and white. Syed is being punished for who he is , its a sad fact but theres nothing he can really do without breaking some hearts which he has tried to avoid. I can see Syed becoming depressed in his life to be honest and knowing Eastenders I don't see a happy ending. I could actually see Syed taking his own life but I don't think they will go down that route tbh. Its completely unfair to compare Chryed to Stax! Stacey and Max was all about sex , Stacey only did it to get back at Bradley and he only slept with her because he wanted some sex. Although you can argue that Stax became deeper than sex after a while but its a completely different situation to Christian/Syed where Syed is gay and has no sexual feelings for Amira at all. This is actually a very controversial topic throughout forums and public opinion ! Some people feel really strongly about the different aspects which is to be expected with such a complicated storyline!

When the time comes for the reveal I just hope that Syed just confesses to Amira instead of it being revealed by somebody else and in dramatic fashion. But then again we all want the drama don't we ? I love this storyline and I can't wait to see how the rest of it pans out.

I really would wish people would stop being so ignorant when it comes to Syed,his family and their religion. I can understand where you are coming from but you also have to understand that if Syed chose Christian he would more than likely have lost his entire family, his entire religion and he would be forced out of his religion. Its not just as easy as "following your heart" .Thats what makes this storyline so interesting. I think Zainab believes herself when she says that in time he will learn to love Amira and she believes shes acting in Syed's best interests. As far as she is concerned homosexuality is completely and utterly forbidden because its what her religion taught her as every other practicing muslim. But this will all end in tears for somebody and it'll most likely be Amira. I take my hat off to the Eastenders team who have come up yet again with a fantastic storyline. (I have lost count of how many of their storylines have touched me). They really do know how to create characters as much as they do storylines. A lot the characters on Eastenders at the moment have been amazingly written and are so interesting. This Syed and Christian storyline is no exception , I really can feel the pain of both of them , it reminds me of Brokeback Mountain actually which went on for lots and lots of years and it made the storyline more realistic although I cant see eastenders dragging it out that long I think the writers decision to marry Syed and Amira is so much better than to have had it all revealed. I think its going to be good to see how Syed deals with being married to Amira whilst loving Christian , and also to see how Zainab copes and deals with what she knows. I have a feeling that Syed and Christian will never have a happy ending , after all Eastenders doesn't do happy endings

I think Syed wanted to try keep everybody happy but that just isn't possible in the long run. He was with Amira for her and to make his family proud whilst also repressing his true feelings. That is really not a way to be live is it , but I guess he saw no other way. Then along came Christian whom he could be himself with and who made him happy like proper happy. From then it became a battle between love and religion. I thought Syed and Christians chat in tonights was very insightful. Syed was so right in what he said , he may be gay but thats just a small part of him. He is also a brother , a son and a muslim. To say that if he chose Christian he would be happy is totally not true. If he chose Christian he would lose his religion and his entire family and I dont blame him for choosing to leave the love of his life go to keep his family. I think this storyline is remarkable and just another example of Diederick Santers incredible work. He comes up with some groundbreaking stuff and its what makes Eastenders the best british soap by far.

Am watching The Butcher Boy at the moment. Absolute classic! One of the funniest films of all time

I don't think Geoff/Belle and Nicole/Aden are the same thing when it comes to brother/sister relationships. To be honest Geoff never really had much to do with Belle, not like Aden had with Nicole, I barely ever saw Belle and Geoff interact maybe a few times but that was it. Nicole and Aden helped each other through some hard times I guess and formed a special bond.

Exactly! Diederick Santer , the exec producer has said that the killer is "extremly inevitable yet very shocking.." That says to me it could be someone obvious....

and both leaving in February and that's when we find out who did it i'm guessing it was one of them, or they will take the rap for one of their loved ones. Peggy isn't leaving in Feruary! She will be still onscreen for the most part of 2010

Oh no ! Annie was annoying enough as a young teen , just wait for the more stroppy Annie to come , now I wouldn't wish having to watch her like that on anyone. I don't know, the girl just grates on my nerves, I did kinda like Annie when she was all nice but then all of a sudden she's turned into something else and I expect she will turn out the same way as Geoff. It wasn't bad enough that they ruined Geoff's beliefs but I just know Annie will do the same. The show recycles story quite a bit ie stroppy teenager etc and I am not really a fan of Romeo , he really reminds me of Kim who was a complete plank and I have actually seen more chemistry between 2 planks of wood than I've ever seen in a Kim scene. I hope they can make him interesting , but I don't really hold out much hope on his family backstory being much interesting t all sadly.

Except the truth wont really come out! I stand by what I say about Bradley being the one who killed him , and if not him then Stacey. My list of suspects are Stacey,Bradley,Jack,Sam & maybe even Phil. I was thinking earlier, OK we know that Bradley will leave the square for good in February , and February is also when the truth will come out about who actually killed Archie. Its all supposed to come out during the live episode which is planned. My theory is that Stacey killed Archie and Bradley goes down for her with her being pregnant and all !

Ahh last nights episode was really one of those classic Eastenders endings! "Get out of my pub" "well its not actually your pub" "Its mine" muahahaha , I never thought I would see the day when Peggy Mitchell would be turfed out of the Queen Vic!! I think I would prefer Janine to be running the Vic ! Cant wait for mondays!

I'd say he will have to be. How else could they come up with a plausible reason for I have to say I am loving Eastenders right now. To me it is the only soap that actually feels real because it is so good. Obviously there are some ridiculous elements like Heather and Darren, but the good parts of the show are outstanding. It's just miles ahead of any other soap on the drama front. Yeah I completely agree! I just think every episode is brilliant , they've gt some really strong characters and had some amazing storylines going on and I love the fact that they've got so many past characters on the show at the moment and it really does link the old with the new. As for Bradley I am convinced that he will be the one to

Ah I loved Charity rejoining the work force and I am not liking this storyline with the youngest Barton being bullied! I felt so so sorry for Hannah (I think thats her name) after she came home from school covered in ink. its really sad because it does happen in real life and to be honest made me feel uncomfortable watching the scene where she got a text message about what colour ink se would like the next day at school. I wonder where Emmerdale are going with this storyline but I have great faith that it will be dealt with properly.
