It's funny how for this she billed herself as "Jess Tovey", I think awhile back Tammin Sursok also did something where she billed herself as "Tam Sursok". I wonder what is with the name changes? Maybe she calls herself Jess anyway...... I know 2 Jessica's and they both go by the name Jess.

Tell me about it The funny thing is the producer at Corrie thinks John Stape is a fighter and a comes through everything stronger type character. I seriously don't know where she gets that idea from, actually the state of Coronation Street at the moment I would actually believe she thinks such stupidness about John Stape! He has been floating around the street for a couple of years now, really seriously just axe him for crying out loud, sorry but Coronation Street annoys me sometimes because the current producer is the crappest of the crap and her ideas are just sooooooooooooo not good.

Dear John I really did think it was absolutely dire!! I expected a lot from it but was very dissapointed.

^^ I am not too upset about most of them, the only departure I am dissapointed in is Charlie Slater! Its about time Libby has been axed anyway, I can't stand Adam, Minty is just mehh, same goes for Danny, and well same goes to Liz as well. I seriously don't know why Bryan Kirkwood has axed Charlie Slater though! Maybe they plan to kill him off and that will kickstart Kat's return.... Either way I think its stupid. It doesn't give the rest of whats left of the Slaters much longevity now.

To be quite honest I think Fiz is an idiot! She must enjoy being a doormat, first John has an affair with Rosie Webster then he kidnaps Rosie for a couple of weeks and ends up in prison and she STILL wants to be with him. Now he is just going to cause her some more heartache with this impersonation thing and I couldn't care less, shes brought it all on her self. If she had guts in the first place and shown him the door after the affair she wouldn't still be picking up the pieces because lets face it it will be her picking up the pieces. John Stape is completely a waste of time anyway I don't know why he wasn't axed months/years ago..... But actually I could go on all day about the characters that should be axed from Corrie so lets not go down that route because I haven't got the time (it would take a lot) I don't watch Corrie at all anymore but I will be tuning in to see

The Blind Side It was just as amazing as people said it was! Definitely one of the best heartwarming films I've seen in a long time. Sandra Bullock was fantastic in her role and the relationship her character formed with Mike was so beautiful, he just fit straight into her family as if he was always meant to be there. One of the best parts was at his first football match that his team won, I just had to laugh when he pushed the guy right down to the end of the field and over the wall I would definitely recommend it to anyone

Well for your information Keith Duffy is staying in Corrie and with be shuffling his Boyzone touring with being in corrie eps them sewlves Not that he will be doing much shuffling because hes barely in Corrie anyway and doesn't even have a proper storyline and I don't imagine he ever will.

I really thought fridays episode was so fantastic! Lacey and Jake just done the whole thing justice , just like I thought they would. I think you will find that EastEnders isn't desperate seeing as it is the most watched soap on UK tv and anyway I do think Marilyn has been brought back to boost flagging figuresand besides the bay has been lacking some history for quite a while with barely no old faces living around the bay. At least Marilyn is linking the shows present to its past - something which has always been a big part of H&A - for me anyway.

As well , a job like Home & Away she is guaranteed full time work, and that is a blessing for an actor because they know too well that they can end up jobless quite easily. I think quite a few actors like the longer standing actors/actresses in the show are on the show for the regular money that they get and its always a stable income and it makes them happy. So when TPTB came knocking then I'm sure Emily was happy to get regular work with a stable income. Hey it isn't Hollywood but its still a job , and I'm sure she has fond memories of working on H&A so maybe she just wanted to go back there.

Yeah Emily left Emmerdale to come to Australia to help look after her sick mother, other than that I don't think we would be seeing Marilyn back in H&A!

I don't see the big deal about Ruby calling Charlie mum! and I don't think the writers are even taking any notice of it at all. Anyway I prefer when she calls her Charlie, its something shes called her for all of 16 years so really I think she should still call her Charlie.

Oh thank God They just need to get rid of the rest of the deadwood cast - only problem is they would only have Tina and maybe Eileen left then!

I haven't seen a thread for Marilyn so I said I'd start one. She is definitely one of the funniest and most colourful character the bay has ever seen, and her lack of brain cells has always been hilarious to watch! I loved her return to the bay so much. She has definitely still got that simple streak in her, although I wouldn't even call it a streak because its such a huge part of her Emily has definitely slipped straight back into Marilyn's shoes and well done to her after so many years away from the character she can still pull her off perfectly! I can't wait to see what they've got in store for her

Yeah tell me about it!! I get that she has forgiven him but why does she have to be so pally with him ? In real life I wouldn't even be friends with someone if they punched my husband.......Let alone shot him and left him for dead. It completely bugs me !
