I really don't know how Eastenders manages to be so damn brilliant!! Well in comparison to any other UK soap at least. Tonights episode was completely heartbreaking to say the least. Lacey Turner is one of the strongest actresses Eastenders has seen imo and Stacey is well and truly an Eastenders icon and is right up there with Sharon and Kat as one of the best characters ever in the show. I am a huge Lacey fan and I think she is an outstanding actress, no wonder they trust her so much with all the big storylines. I hope she sticks around on EE for years to come. Anyway I am so gutted and devastated that Bradley (one of the nicest characters ever) has met such a sticky end, and if anyone ever deserved to be happy it was him! I really hope Tanya puts in an appearance because it will be so stupid if she doesn't come back for the funeral or at least just to see how Max is doing. I don't think its fair at all for everyone to think Bradley is a murderer and I think Max will struggle with this as well. He knows Stacey killed Archie and not Bradley , it is ruining Bradley's memory for everyone he loved and knew to think of him as a killer. But I am also sure they will find out what Archie did to Stacey and so they won't think any less of Bradley. I can't wait to see Max & Stacey's grief play out and also the fact that she killed Archie and he knows all about it. It will be interesting to watch... And after watching tonights episode and thinking how great Bradley & Stacey were I just had to make a video about their relationship and his death Bradley & Stacey -

Actually , I have just been watching old episodes and the one before she was sectioned back in October she was also looking at the red handprints , she was saying how she remembers making it when she was little and I think Jean's handprints are on it as well. I guess she was getting emotional on friday about having to leave her family and go on the run and was packing it as well because it meant so much to her.

^^ But isn't leaving on a bus and a low key kind of thing very traditional for H&A ? (usually seen when the younger generation go away to college) I remember quite a few characters leaving in that way, it may be boring but its sometimes very effective. Lucas left the same way and I thought his was even lower key than Geoff's departure with Mattie and Tony dropping him off and saying 2 words then driving off again. Steven's departure from the show all those years ago on the bus was a lot more emotional and powerful than the ones they pull off today. If I was a Geoff fan I guess I'd be rather annoyed at such a low key exit but to be honest he isn't as much of a key character anyway.

No I don't think thats what the red handprints on the paper were ! It looks like something that a child would make it in school. Although I don't think it was insignificant either, it was telling us that she had 'blood on her hands' , they done the same thing with Ronnie in thursday nights episode when she had the red paint on her hands also meaning the blood was on her hands but I think it was just to throw us off the scent. Watching the live episode again it was so obvious that Stacey was the killer.

Thats exactly what i thought, he obviously knew it was Stacey and he wanted to protect her from going to prison, so with him dead the police will think they have their man and stop digging, at least i guess that was Bradley's reasoning. It was a great episode though, fabulous acting and not many slip ups I dont think Bradley killed himself at all!! If indeed he was trying to protect Stacey then what was the whole point of him telling her to run ? Anyway tonight just proves that Eastenders is most definitely,without a doubt the best soap on TV at the moment. Its totally unmissable and I think Diederick Santer should definitely be very proud of where he has taken the show during his reign as Exec. Producer! He will go down as one of the best EP's thats for sure, and I just want to say thanks for bringing Eastenders to life over the past few years, I have enjoyed all his big storylines so much and he has built the strongest cast the shows ever seen - which has been said by lots of the cast.. He will be missed on Eastenders , I just hope Bryan Kirkwood will be able to continue the quality of Eastenders and another thing - the entire cast have such an amazing chemistry!!! The aftermath show was so lovely to watch because all the actors and actresses are such great friends and they all have such a laugh. I bet they have heaps and heaps of fun working at Eastenders!!

Yeah, I think Stacey told him when they were packing (could have been before). I think this because before he jumped he yelled 'run Stacey!' And it would make no sense for him to just yell that if she didn't do anything. Yeah , I think she told him when she said 'no more secrets' and she put his hands on her baby bump!

I have just finished watching 'The Time Travellers Wife' and I thought it was just fantastic!! My sister watched it last night and said it wasn't as good as she thought and so I didn't have much ecxpectations. But anyway it made me cry a few times and was just so touching. Brilliant,brilliant film 2012 is on my list for tomorrow night!! Really looking forward to it

OK I've just read the first 10 chapters and well.....Umm..... I love it sooo much!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are such an awesome writer Bec, you can describe conversations between people so beautifully not to mention how ypu write their feelins - in this case Belle's feelings. Anyway, the fic in general. I really loved the start with drunk and Belle & Geoff, and I think it was so freakin' hilarious I kept having to re-read to get some more laughter out of it. The first 3 chapters had me smiling so much with all the Belle & geoff drunk bits , the best bit was definitely Belle looking at her boobs and saying "i want...i boobs get big" its just one of the funniest things ever! Another bit that cracked me up was Geoff asking if she thought he was good in bed because hes only slept with Nicole and Belle's all like ew ew gross I don't know whether your portrayal of the funny scenes or the dark scenes I preferred! You wrote Belle's pain and heartache of finding out she was pregnant so beautifull yet so heartbreaking. Soo cant wait to see where your gona go with this!! and I wonder whether Geoff & Belle might get closer in a more intimate kinda way.... Anyway I so cant wait to read the rest tomorrow

I am really intrigued to see what they are gona do with Aaron & Adam!! Something tells me they are gona be the next big McDean!! It looks like Adam is completely straight atm but I can't help but read into all the subtle hints that are being dropped everywhere. After all McDean started out with Craig being 'straight' and JP only being gay........ Please get them together! Because at least the UK shows can write a fantastic gay relationship.

Yeah I found the 2009 season very unappealing mainly because JM were no longer. I feel like Jack left quite a big hole in the show which is for a number of reasons ie his relationships with Martha & Tony were no longer around and JM are on my desktop

Yeah that was one of my favourite openings!! and the music was brilliant as well I wouldn't mind in the slightest if they just slapped the 2006 titles into the show now! In fact I would love it, at least we could still song the theme song.

Torrential rains and wind

I have to agree with a lot of this! I don't know how people move from couple to couple and how they 'soooo love them' and then the next big couple comes along and its I 'sooooo love them' all over again. I personally would not be able to like a couple with so many unfavourable characteristics to be honest, which is why I don't remotely like any of the current couples on the show. My last favourite couple was Jack & Martha but nobody has even remotely matched up to them for me unfortunately yet. and I don't see anyone coming even close in the near future at all. Changelo have quite a few flaws and some very unlikeable characteristics which makes me simply unable to warm to them as a couple , or as single characters either (selfishness is the main one). As a lor of people have said they look like a 'hot couple' and look fantastic on paper but they just can't live up to the expectations, not even close. As someone pointed out somebodysaid how they love Charlie/Angelo so much and that Joey and Charlie we're bad yet were singing a different tune at the time of Jarlie. I don't get it either but I guess thats just how that person felt , maybe they didn't mean to say that Jarlie are really bad , just not as good as Angelo .. Anyway I really hope Changelo don't stick around for the next few years because its bad enough hating a couple that don't stay a long time but to hate a couple before they even started and them staying for ages is 10 times worse. I am very dissapointed the writers seem to be building a big love story around such unlikeable characters and I can't get in on it because I just can't stand their bad points and to block them out and 'love them'

I totally totally agree with this!! Tachel were always just in the background rarely getting any screentime and I find that very boring, some may say realistic but I don't watch soaps for realism , I watch for the drama. When you think of the great couples like Aden & Belle and Jack & Martha , they had such ups and downs during their time on the show and thats what makes them remembered, having a baby and getting married as a characters/couples 'big' storylines are just not newsworthy and aren't so memorable When they even do get storylines they like to wrap them up quickly as well. In 2008 when Tony slept with Bridget we didn't see much of an aftermath and it wasn't dragged out in usual soap style, that says to me that they couldn't be bothered dragging out because it wastes some of the valuable screentime that could be given to others. Around that time we had Aden's court case and the on-offness of Adelle as well so that left no time for Tachel storylines so they we're just put all the way back on the shelf waiting for another storyline. I personally think the time is right for them to pack up their little family and live somewhere else because they've had their baby and got married, they've run out of non existent storylines for them. If they thought that Roman's character had run its course then they must be flogging a dead horse with Tachel. They just don't interest me at all!

I don't see how Ciaran is of any addition to the show whatsoever! He is as pointless now than he was during his previouse stint. He just adds nothing much at all, the only thing he adds to is the list of deadwood covering Corrie at the moment

Ah yes but not all TV shows opening titles are as iconic as Home & Away's ! Home & Away's opening have always been a big part of the show and almost everyone worldwide knows the famous theme tune!! I think watching the titles and singing along to the theme tune have always been a part of the viewing experience, and now they may just be cutting the music out altogether , never to be heard again , I think its just horrible really. I know how you mean though Foxy about every other shows that have had their titles slashed or even cut altogether that don't get as much stick from viewers , and some shows can be as iconic but they won't ever be as iconic as H&A! Opening titles are always nice to watch and sing along to but TV has changed and I have seen over the last few years how the number of shows with opening titles have gradually decreased. In the US they have cut the titles completely from Greys Anatomy & Desperate Housewives and whichever others I don't watch . But now any of the newer shows have been started out with no titles ie Brothers & Sisters (which is so much easier because there was none to begin with and so doesn't bother us because we don't know what were missing) and others have really short openings ie 90210. Opening titles are on their way out and like Foxy said petitions and phone calls aren't going to make a difference, we can't stop it!! H&A is only another in a long line of shows with cut titles.
