Extended Summary

Kirby, Eden, Bree, Theo and Justin have all gathered outside the Lyrik house as Remi puts his idea to them that they should go away and rehearse somewhere. Kirby (who has just got back to town) recalls how they used to take off and sleep in the van. Remi says they can afford something better this time. Eden is in agreement but has to head off to meet Tim at the Diner.

Eden asks Tim why he didn’t turn up at hers. Tim tells her about going to the police station and how he was told Cash hasn’t done anything illegal. Eden tells him what Cash said about Nerida being a danger. Tim agrees that she’s troubled but says she’s not violent. She offers to let him walk away but he declines.

At the beach house, Dana takes Harper’s blood pressure. She has nothing else to do other than be her private nurse since Xander is away for another 27 days and 7 hours. Tane joins them with sandwiches. Dana says Harper’s blood pressure is still high but hasn’t got worse. Harper goes for a nap. Tane wants to talk to her about surgery.

Remi comes into the house and announces he’s found the pefect place but won’t tell them. He checks they can all get time off and Kirby admits she’s not working at the board shop anymore. Rose turns up but says it’s not a noise complaint, she just wants to talk to Eden. They step outside where Rose confirms Cash said Eden was in danger. Eden tells her what Tim said about there being nothing to worry about. Remi comes out and joins them as Rose muses that Cash believes what he’s saying before leaving them to it.

Tane joins Harper in her room to try and talk about surgery. He suggests the cyst could be growing and it’s better to do it now. Dana chimes in and admits ths is an intervention. Harper snaps that neither of them know what she’s going through and she doesn’t need a round table debate.

Remi and Eden see Cash pull up outside his house. Eden admits that she doesn’t think she can go with them, since she can’t leave Tim at the moment. Remi suggests that Tim come with them, since they can’t practice all the time. A short time later, inside, Remi puts the idea to Tim, who agrees. Justin and Theo prepare to leave and Remi says Justin should pack a bag and come with them, since he’s their manager. He also suggests Bree come along.

Dana checks on Harper and finds her sleeping. Tane admits Dana was right that it was a bad idea to tackle Harper like that. Dana wants to get some sleep and advises Tane to go home and do the same. During the night, Dana checks Harper’s blood pressure, then gets into bed with her for a slumber party. She says that whatever happens, Harper will always have her and Tane. Harper isn’t so sure about that, saying she and Tane only got together because of the baby and she’s not sure he’ll stick around if she loses it.

Next morning, Tane is sitting on the beach. Cash comes jogging past and is surprised Tane hasn’t gone to see Harper. Tane says he’s waiting for a bit before showing up. Cash offers to talk to her about the surgery but Tane says she already feels ganged up on. Cash notes no-one will listen to him about Nerida and acknowledges his credibility’s shot.

Dana gets Harper some peppermint team before asking about what she said and whether her decision is influenced by her relationship with Tane. Harper still believes Tane’s only with her because of the baby but insists her decision on the surgery is based on the risks to the baby. Tane turns up and they change the subject.

Theo, Kirby, Remi, Eden, Bree and Tim are loading up the van. Remi and Bree are travelling by bike with the others going in the van. Theo notes Leah wasn’t keen on Justin going so suspects it’s a no. As they’re about to leave however, Justin turns up with a bag and joins them, noting this is the first time the band have been on time.

Dana is doing another check on Harper. Tane suggests getting her out for some fresh air despite her being on bed rest, saying they could go for a drive. Dana reveals that Harper’s blood pressure has got higher. Harper tries to argue that it’s because of the stress but is wavering over whether not having the surgery is right or not. Tane suggests getting Levi over to talk to them.

At the farm house, Levi tells Mackenzie he’s going to talk to Tane. Abigail asks for a lift into town and says Mali is sleeping and cancelled all his lessons, finding it hard without Kirby. She is determined to be there for him like he’s been for her. Meanwhile, at a remote spot, the Lyrik party are driven by golf cart up to a large building. Remi says it’s just them and the staff he hired there and Eden recalls it took a boat to get them there. They look the fancy building over and Kirby notes they’ll be living like rock stars for two weeks.

Cash is returning from his jog and finds Tim’s car outside the Lyrik house, vandalised with paint and the tyre stabbed, with the message “BURN” on the windscreen. At the getaway, Justin and Theo are setting up while Remi and Bree go for a “tour” of the biggest room and Eden and Tim go for a walk. Cash goes inside the Lyrik house and finds that too has been vandalised, with items overturned or broken. He tries to call Eden but she rejects the call. Cash leaves a message saying something’s happened at her place and she needs to stay away from Tim.
