Extended Summary

Downstairs in the surf club, Mali is on the phone to Rose, who has decided she can’t come to the fundraiser because she has to work. Mackenzie turns up and explains that Felicity railroaded her into coming. Mali suggests they hang out, an idea which quickly disappears when Levi turns up. Levi says he’ll see her up there. Mali comments on Mackenzie waiting downstairs so she and Levi aren’t seen arriving together. Mackenzie isn’t happy with the implied judgement.

Upstairs, Remi and Eden are performing their set. Levi chats to Xander about how good Eden is. Mackenzie comes up and chats to Felicity and Xander. Eden calls an end to the set and she and Remi go to chat to Levi, who claims he came there to support the fundraiser. He and Eden check Remi is okay performing. Xander checks on Bree, who comments on the fact that Remi won’t even look at her. She says that if he’s moving on, she should too, looking at Levi.

Mali shows up at the police station with a meal for Rose, who is looking through Xander’s ticket sales without success. He suggests they go to the fundraiser still but Rose says half the people there blame her for serving Tane the AVO. Mali convinces her to at least take a break. However, once they’ve finished the meal she says she has to go back to work and insists she’s not giving up. Mali reluctantly leaves her to it.

Eden tells Levi she thinks he’s really there because he needs a break from Imogen and Levi goes along with it. She offers him a place to stay but he says he’s booked into a motel. Bree comes over and Levi recalls she wasn’t happy with him when they last spoke. She asks to discuss Doctors Without Borders with him. Xander and Remi watch her drag him away. Eden wonders if she knows he’s taken. Mackenzie says so is Bree and Eden puts her straight.

Later, Bree grabs some drinks for them and Levi puts his down untouched. Xander announces that the results of the silent auction are posted and highlights Levi bidding $800 for the Blaxland trip. Bree makes a drunken attempt to dance with Levi, which Mackenzie, Felicity and Xander watch openmouthed. Remi decides to leave, saying a quick goodbye to Eden.

Next morning, Xander tells Felicity and Bree that they made over five grand. Xander asks Bree if making her point to Remi made her feel better before she heads off surfing. Rose appears and Felicity makes knowing comments about the two grand donation. Rose asks Xander for the details. At the coffee cart, Kirby tells Eden and Remi that she got Xander’s message but it didn’t mention performing. Remi says Levi was all over Bree, Eden says it was the other way round and Remi says he didn’t stop it. Kirby leaves as Remi wonders why Levi is spending so much time there.

Mackenzie jokes about Levi still being at her place instead of sneaking off with Bree. Levi says he has no idea what that was about. They express disappointment that he has to go home and spend most of the day with Eden. Meanwhile, Mali catches up with Rose outside the surf club for breakfast. However, Rose says she has to go because she finally has a lead.

Eden meets up with Levi by the beach and asks for a straight answer. Levi says it’s a good job he stayed at the motel rather than hers given Remi’s gunning for him. Eden asks if he’s having an affair, saying she was watching him at Salt last night. Levi says whatever she thinks she saw, she’s wrong. Eden asks him to look her in the eye and tell him nothing’s going on with Bree. Levi is relieved and has no problem doing so.

A short time later, Eden meets up with Remi outside the house and tells him Levi isn’t involved with Bree. She also encourages him to sort out whatever’s going on with Bree. Remi admits he was being paranoid but turns down Eden inviting him to talk to Levi, and wonders why he isn’t spending time with his wife if they have things to sort out.

Felicity brings Mackenzie up to Salt and tells Xander she thinks he did a good job last night. Mackenzie is initially busy looking at a text from Levi but assures him he was never in the bad books and it was her problem. Felicity wonders where Rose is and Xander tells her she thinks the donation was to do with the baby. Felicity says it isn’t. Xander realises she knows who it is and advises her to tell Rose.

Remi is waiting outside the house when Bree turns up. He thanks her for answering his call. Bree says last night was nothing. Remi says this isn’t about that and gives her a box of her things, saying they’re moving on. Bree asks if he’s going to be okay and Remi says he’ll get his bike back from his parents soon. Bree says he’s never going to change and Remi asks if she is.

Kirby brings Rose a coffee at the police station. Rose admits she thought she had a lead but it didn’t pan out. Kirby wonders why she’s so involved and Rose says she’s worried the baby won’t ever know where she comes from, which she understands. Kirby tells her to keep at it.

Eden emerges from the house on the phone, saying it’s the best surprise ever. Remi asks her to tone down the cheeriness because he’s trying to brood and explains about returning Bree’s things. Eden says at least they had a proper goodbye. She says Levi’s gone to the motel to pack and she’s had the best idea ever, which Remi gave to her.

Harper meets Rose at the Diner and tells her they’ve sorted out emergency foster care for the baby. Rose says she thought Roo’s paperwork was going to take longer. Harper says it’s not Roo: Another family became available. She worries how Tane will take it. Meanwhile, Eden meets with Levi outside the surf club. Levi says he has to get home but Eden replies that she’s called Imogen and she’s on her way there. Levi seems to be trying very hard not to look horrified.
