Extended Summary

Felicity is on the phone outside the surf club, thanking someone for donating and saying that every little bit counts. Alf appears and asks her about the fundraiser, donating a voucher for a day trip on the Blaxland to the silent auction. Felicity thanks him. Xander appears with some cases of wine, saying the suppliers donated two. Bree approaches and Xander congratulates her on going surfing again. Felicity talks with her about her break-up with Remi, noting it gets easier seeing you ex about.

Not too far away, Eden catches up with Remi near the beach. He explains he came out for some fresh air. Eden tells him about Stevie turning up with Cash. Remi thinks it’s cool but Eden says it’s not. Remi reminds her that protecting Stevie is Cash’s job. Eden warns him she can hurt him, before admitting that she feels like a third wheel in her own relationship.

Cash offers Stevie some cheese toastie. Stevie jokingly asks about champagne and caviar, and he reminds her about her fish pasta. They both tense up as someone rattles the door handle before Felicity lets herself in, telling Cash she needs to get changed for the fundraiser and actually heading towards her room before realising what she’s just seen and giddily hugging Stevie. The two of them discuss Cash digging his heels in with them before Felicity says he’ll have their back. Cash asks Felicity to keep an eye on Stevie and she starts telling her about the fundraiser for a baby abandoned on the beach. Cash goes outside to ring Eden but she turns up before he can. He apologises for not letting her know Stevie was coming and Eden admits she didn’t like feeling second best. They hug.

Mali is about to leave the farm house when Mackenzie asks if he and Rose are going to the fundraiser and if he’s going to be late back. Mali initially thinks she wants a lift until she pointedly explains that she’s not going and has plans. Mali says he’ll crash at Rose’s. Levi turns up and Mali leaves. Mackenzie says she hopes Levi doesn’t do a runner this time and he missed out on a lot.

Stevie compliments Felicity on the outfit she’s changed into. She asks about the bank details so she can donate to the fundraiser. Cash and Eden come in and Cash warns Stevie to make it anonymous. Stevie says she never donates to charities in her own name but is disappointed she can’t go to the fundraiser. She and Felicity agree it’s annoying when Cash is right. Felicity leaves (after warning Stevie to prepare for lots of Death Throes questions when she gets back) and Cash goes to answer a phone call. Eden awkwardly offers Stevie something to eat and she says Cash already got her something.

Felicity catches up with Remi outside the surf club, admitting Eden told her he overdid it last week. She expresses sympathy about the break-up with Bree and says she didn’t just hear it from Eden since it’s a small town. She advises him to keep busy. They see Bree approaching (but Bree doesn’t see Remi) and Remi quickly leaves. Felicity and Xander exchange regretful looks.

Cash is on the phone outside the Newman house and learns that the security company hasn’t managed to find a new hotel for Stevie yet or make any progress finding out who’s posting the photos. Stevie, who is sunbathing by the pool, tells him and Eden she’s happy to stay there for now. After Cash has gone, Stevie tells Eden she’s not after Cash. Eden says she wouldn’t worry if Stevie crawled into Cash’s bed but she is worried about his safety.

Mackenzie and Levi are getting cosy in the kitchen of the farm house, having already lost most of their clothes. Mackenzie again teases him about leaving her alone. Levi reminds her he was getting Remi to hospital and they comment on having 24 hours together now. At Salt, Felicity and Xander are making last minute preparations. Xander tries to get Bree to come but she says she’s tired after night shifts and just wants to curl up on the couch. Mali turns up to collect tickets for him and Rose. Felicity and Xander wonder about Mackenzie and he says she’s not coming and they’ll have to ask her why.

Eden and Stevie join Cash inside the house, discussing the stalker. There’s a knocking and rattling at the door before Remi calls out. Eden lets him in and he’s briefly introduced to Stevie. He offhandedly notes he loved the soundtrack to Death Throes before beckoning Eden outside. Stevie ruminates on what would take her mind off the stalker and Cash tells her not to think about it. Outside, Remi makes it clear that he’s not happy that Felicity knows about Bree and tells Eden to stop talking about it.

Felicity tells Levi that the bubbly has gone to her head and she needs to lie down. Before they can do so however, there’s a knock at the door. Mackenzie checks Levi parked out the back before sending him to the bedroom and saying she’ll get rid of them. She lets in Felicity, who asks why she hasn’t been answering her phone and why she isn’t coming to the fundraiser. Mackenzie tries to say she’s happy for Felicity and Xander to handle everything but Felicity insists on giving her all the details.

Xander chats to Bree outside the surf club about arrangements for the fundraiser. Rose has called him to ask for the guest list just in case someone connected to the baby attends. Mali appears and donates six surf lessons to the silent auction. Xander gets a text and learns that the DJ is ill and can’t attend. He decides to switch to Plan B.

Felicity finishes her briefing by saying that there’s no overheads and the balcony is open for their regulars. However, she won’t give up on trying to convince Mackenzie to come, offering to wait while she gets dressed and drive her. Mackenzie gives in but says she’ll make her own way there. After Felicity has gone, Levi comes in. Mackenzie tells him she’s going to the fundraiser and tells him to get dressed and come with her.

At the Newman house, Stevie is looking at the post with the photo of the hotel, which includes a message from the stalker saying “I know where you are.” Cash comes in and says that the IT guys still don’t have any information but they’ve found a new hotel for her. Stevie isn’t keen on the idea of being surrounded by strangers and asks to stay there, saying she feels safe. Cash eventually agrees so long as Felicity’s fine with it.

Eden approaches Remi strumming his guitar outside and asks if she’s forgiven, before telling him Xander called about the DJ cancelling on the fundraiser and she’s told him they’ll perform: He called Theo and Kirby but they’re not picking up. Remi isn’t sure if he’s up to it physically. Eden says the baby girl has had the worst start to life and, since they can’t afford to donate any money, this is a way to help.

Later, Eden and Remi are doing a sound check at Salt as Xander and Felicity discuss the auction. Felicity tells him there’s been a $2000 anonymous donation. Mali turns up and wonders if Rose is there yet. Felicity has a brief chat with Remi and Eden. As they start up, Mali heads outside on the phone to Rose. Bree comes in but, on seeing her, Remi quickly looks away.
