Extended Summary

Love is in the air in Summer Bay.

Tasha is very excited that Josie and Jesse are finally making their feelings for each other known, with public displays of affection. Meanwhile Dan and Leah are over the moon at being together. Neither Jesse nor Leah seem worried about the other anymore.

Alf’s mind is on his true love, Viv. Dani and Scott are visiting her in hospital. Alf asks them to tell Viv he wants to see her again. Dani does so, provoking a tearful reaction from the Guv. She tells Dani that Alf was one of the reasons she befriended her in goal. Dani urges her to come back to Summer Bay one last time. They could even work on some chapters about the Guv’s life before she went to goal. Viv nixes that idea. If she goes back to the Bay, it will be for herself and Alf, not the book. She decides to return.

Dalby’s bully-boy tactics at school need to be stopped. Robbie comes up with a great idea. He and Tasha deliberately let Wazza hear that they’ve got a map in their locker containing info about the whereabouts of the dope crop. They assume that when Dalby finds out he won’t be able to resist visiting the crop. When he does, the police will be there to catch him.

Hayley is disturbed at the news that Jesse and Josie are a couple. She tells them she never would have agreed to a three-way partnership with a couple. She’s worried that all the decisions will come down to a two against one situation. They assure here that although they might be spending time together – they are not a couple. But something in Jesse’s eyes tells us that he’s feeling a little bit more for Josie than he’s letting on.

When Alf finds out that Viv wants to see him, his reserved reaction is not what Scott expected. But Dani can understand his fears. Sometimes it’s better never to find out why some things happened in the past.

Robbie’s plan goes to perfection: Dalby steals the map and visits the dope site. But when Emily races in with the news that Dalby is in hospital because someone has beaten him to a pulp, Robbie knows that his plan has gone wrong in a very big way.
