Alf thought he had Glaucoma and was going blind so was avoiding going to see Dr Watt. However, Rick found out he’d missed the appointment and took him to the city to see the doctor. When they arrived they bumped into Dr Watt outside the hospital. He told them Alf would have to ring to arrange another appointment but Rick wasn’t keen for him to wait. Dr Watt said that he would like Alf on the waiting list for a cataract operation as soon as possible. Alf was shocked as he thought he had Glaucoma but the doctor said he only had the early signs of it and he would be in his eighties before it would be a problem. He told a relieved Alf to give him a call the next day to discuss it further.
