Rebecca was a former victim of the Believers, who Jonah and Mumma Lily, as she had called herself at the time, attempted to make their Chosen One.She had made a complaint to the police but been unable to prove anything.Robbie got her details from a police database and, when she heard Tasha had fallen in with them, she came to Summer Bay to try and help.She met Robbie and told him about how she thought there was good in Jonah but Mumma Rose had complete control over him and the other Believers.She agreed to tell Tasha what she knew but before she could do so the Believers learned of her presence, having seen her driving around town.While Robbie was fetching Jack, Jonah abducted Rebecca, leaving a note supposedly from her saying she’d changed her mind. He later delivered another note to the house saying she’d left town.

When Martha pretended to join the Believers, she found Rebecca imprisoned under a hatch.Unable to open it, she went help but was delayed when she was briefly captured herself.By the time she eventually returned with Jack and the police, Rebecca had been moved and the hatch was filled with manure.Tasha then became suspicious and, searching the area, found Rebecca chained to a tree.She tried to smash the lock but before they could escape they were discovered first by Jonah and then by Mumma Rose.

Tasha next saw Rebecca when she entered the barn where she was being held in a blissed out, zombified state, having apparently been drugged and brainwashed, and told her the Believers were going to do great things and were trying to help her.She continued to bring Tasha food and drink and concealed a note in one of the meals, revealing she was only faking compliance and was going to help her.She returned and freed Tasha and Jonah, who had also tried to help her, while the other Believers were busy preparing a ceremony to purify them with fire and water.However, they were spotted and forced to run, with Jonah, who had an injured leg, being captured. Rebecca tried to convince Tasha to carry on so they could get help but Tasha told Rebecca to go while she stayed and tried to help Jonah. Rebecca made a call to the police which resulted in them interrupting the ceremony but her movements after that are unknown.
