6 Emmerdale Spoilers for Next Week – 7th to 12th June
Next week on Emmerdale, Charity’s blackmail nightmare takes a devastating turn, Lydia publicly accuses Sam of cheating, and Kerry uncovers Archie’s latest con.
Note: Emmerdale will be airing on Sunday, Monday and Wednesday, with an hour-long episode on Friday.
1) Charity faces Todd’s darkest act yet
Charity’s (Emma Atkins) nightmare with Dr Caitlin Todd (Caroline Harker) reaches a devastating turning point next week, as the blackmail over baby Leyla’s parentage leads to a horrific assault.
Over the past few weeks, Todd has steadily tightened her grip on Charity, after discovering proof that Charity and Ross (Michael Parr) are Leyla’s biological parents.

ITV
What started as a threat to expose the truth to Sarah (Katie Hill) and Jacob (Joe-Warren Plant)—if Charity didn’t convince Jacob to drop the complaint against her—has now escalated into a demand for £100,000.
Charity had hoped that selling her half of The Woolpack to Kim (Claire King) would give her a way out, but that plan collapsed when Kim pulled out of the deal.

ITV
With Todd refusing to back down, Charity resorted to stealing from Caleb’s (Will Ash) depot. The theft gave Charity enough to hand Todd a down payment, but it still wasn’t enough to satisfy her blackmailer.
It also managed to place Noah (Jack Downham), who Charity stole the depot keys from, under suspicion.

ITV
Next week, it’s Sarah’s 21st birthday, and Charity knows Todd could easily destroy the day by revealing everything in front of the family. Desperate to protect Sarah and keep Leyla’s true parentage hidden, Charity is frantically searching for any way to meet Todd’s demand.
As the pressure builds, Charity is weighed down by guilt over the lengths she’s already gone to. After drinking heavily, she finally confronts Todd and challenges her to go ahead and expose the secret if that’s what she wants.

ITV
For a moment, it appears that Todd may not be prepared to follow through on her threat. Faced with the reality of wrecking Sarah’s life in public, Todd seems to pull back, leaving Charity to think there may still be a chance of stopping the truth from coming out.
Todd even attempts to explain her actions, admitting that she’s enjoyed watching the chaos unfold around Charity, making it clear that the blackmail has never been only about the money.

ITV
A fragile truce appears to form between them, with Todd suggesting that Leyla’s secret will remain safe after all. But any sense of relief is short-lived.

ITV
Before long, Todd’s cruelty resurfaces in the worst possible way, as Charity is sexually assaulted by the woman who has spent weeks tormenting her.
“Charity’s storyline will explore the impact of sexual violence, and though this heinous act is fundamentally about power, we’ll explore the complexities of how Charity processes her trauma when the perpetrator is a woman,” Emmerdale producer Sophie Roper tells us.
“With little conversation surrounding female-on-female assault, we’ll explore the overwhelming feelings of isolation many survivors experience.”

ITV
“It will examine the disparity between the legal term sexual assault and the fact that many women in Charity’s position feel this minimises what’s happened to them, because they feel like they’ve been raped. Though difficult viewing at times, Charity’s resilience will inspire hope as she confronts what has happened to her.”

ITV
“This has been one of the most demanding and significant storylines I’ve had to navigate as Charity,” Emma Atkins adds. “We know her as a tough, resilient character, but this trauma will expose a deep, raw vulnerability that has been heartbreaking at times to play.”
“I hope this storyline gives even one person the courage to speak out or helps others understand the quiet devastation of trauma.”
2) Laurel puts the brakes on Ross
Elsewhere in the village, Ross and Laurel’s (Charlotte Bellamy) secret fling begins to lose its no-strings simplicity, as Laurel starts to fear that things are becoming more serious than she intended.
The pair gave in to temptation shortly after Ross rejected Gabby’s (Rosie Bentham) advances, leaving Gabby unaware that Laurel was the woman he was really interested in. Since then, Laurel has been trying to keep the arrangement hidden, even as Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) has taken a keen interest in the affair.

ITV
Next week, Ross wants to take Laurel out properly, but his suggestion leaves her unsettled. Their secret distraction suddenly feels as though it’s edging into something beyond friends-with-benefits, and Laurel’s uncomfortable with the direction things are taking.
Nicola soon picks up on Laurel’s guilt, realising that her friend is uneasy about Ross seeming more invested in the fling than she is.
The situation is also complicated by Gabby, who despite having insisted she’s over Ross, still has no idea that her stepmum has been secretly seeing him.

ITV
As Ross looks ahead to spending more time with Laurel, she decides to take action. Rather than allow him to get the wrong idea—or risk the situation becoming even messier—Laurel calls time on their relationship before it develops any further.
Ross is hurt by the development, but will Laurel be able to stand firm on her decision?
3) Has Kim ended Sam and Lydia’s marriage?
While Laurel is trying to bring her fling with Ross to an end, Sam’s (James Hooton) own secret arrangement with Ross causes fresh trouble for his marriage to Lydia (Karen Blick).
Sam has been keeping his dance lessons hidden for weeks, hoping to improve before revealing the surprise to Lydia.

ITV
The plan has already caused confusion elsewhere in the village, after Aaron (Danny Miller) and Robert (Ryan Hawley) wrongly suspected Sam and Ross were involved in the fires at Emmerdale Farm when they found them together in the barn.

ITV
Laurel was only drawn into the cover story after Sam interrupted one of her private moments with Ross. Thinking quickly, Ross claimed that Laurel would be helping Sam with his dancing too.

ITV
Next week, the lessons appear to be paying off, as Sam’s dancing starts to show real improvement. But he’s still determined to keep the surprise from Lydia, and that means lying when Kim questions him about where he’s been.
Kim has already become concerned for Lydia after realising that Sam isn’t being honest about his whereabouts. When she then sees him leaving Laurel’s house, she draws the wrong conclusion and believes she’s finally uncovered proof that Sam is having an affair.

ITV
Kim is uneasy about saying anything, but she eventually tells Lydia what she thinks is going on. The revelation leaves Lydia devastated, and Kim immediately regrets passing on her suspicions when she sees the impact it’s had.
As Lydia starts to believe that Sam really may have betrayed her, Kim offers to go with her to confront him. The situation then escalates at The Woolpack, where Lydia walks in to find Sam hugging Laurel.

ITV
With Kim beside her, Lydia can only see the moment as confirmation of everything she’s been told!
In front of the packed pub, she confronts Sam over his supposed affair, leaving the room in stunned silence as she makes the tearful accusation.

ITV
In the aftermath, Laurel’s left mortified.

ITV
Will Sam be able to convince Lydia of what he’s really been getting up to behind her back?
4) Archie’s cons steps up a gear
Over at Farrers Barn, Archie’s (Kai Assi) latest scheme catches up with him, as Kerry (Laura Norton) discovers he’s scammed Caleb out of thousands of pounds!
With dad Jai (Chris Bisson) away in Canada, Archie has already been caught trying to take advantage of Kerry and Eric (Chris Chittell), after he conned them both out of cash claiming he needed it for school dinners. But his latest plan proves far more serious.

ITV
At the depot, Billy (Jay Kontzle) offers to help Caleb bring in more work while Jai’s away. Caleb’s impressed when Billy manages to secure a new client, leaving Kerry feeling overlooked as she watches him make a good impression.
Kerry’s frustration grows when she has to leave work to pick up Archie, only for Caleb to later question her commitment. But while Kerry feels she’s being unfairly judged, Archie is quietly putting his plan into motion.

ITV
Up at the depot, Caleb receives a call from who he believes to be daughter Steph (Georgia Jay), asking him for money. Believing he’s helping her with a deposit for a flat in London, Caleb hands Billy his bank details and asks him to secretly transfer £5,000.

ITV
At the same time, Chas (Lucy Pargeter) and Ruby (Beth Cordingly) are discussing their children, and Ruby mentions that Steph’s actually in Thailand with her new boyfriend, leading us to the realisation that all is not what it seems.
As Kerry begrudgingly heads back to work from Farrers, Archie is revealed to be listening to an AI-generated copy of Steph’s voice. When the £5,000 lands in his account, it becomes obvious that he’s the one who tricked Caleb.

ITV
The following day, Kerry delivers a computer that Archie has ordered with Caleb’s money, and her suspicions begin to grow. It’s not long before she catches him with the AI voice copy and realises the full extent of what he’s done.

ITV
How will Kerry handle this?
5) Gabby’s health kick turns dangerous
Elsewhere, Gabby’s new interest in healthy eating takes a worrying turn.
After being left embarrassed by Ross’s rejection, Gabby’s tried to shift her focus elsewhere. Alcohol only left her with the hangover from hell, but her suffering prompted her to think about clean living, giving her the idea of introducing a healthier menu at The Hide.

ITV
Next week, Gabby puts the plan into action and sets up her new health food offering from the kiosk. The early response is encouraging, and she’s thrilled when the reviews start coming in.

ITV
But once Gabby is alone, her attention turns back to social media. As she scrolls through more healthy eating posts, the content she’s being shown gradually changes in tone, leading her into far darker territory.

ITV
Will Gabby realise what she’s getting into before it’s too late?
6) Will Graham’s support convince Kyle to confess?
Also next week, Graham (Andrew Scarborough) continues trying to steer Kyle (Huey Quinn) onto a better path, after unmasking him as the arsonist at Emmerdale Farm.

ITV

ITV
Rather than exposing Kyle immediately, Graham has tried to help him channel his problems in a better direction, recognising that he’s been struggling with mum Amy’s (Natalie Ann Jamison) death, Moira’s (Natalie J Robb) imprisonment, the loss of the farm, and Cain’s (Jeff Hordley) cancer.
Drawing on his own experience, Graham signed Kyle up to the army cadets, hoping that the extra structure and focus would give him a healthier way of channelling his problems.

ITV

ITV
Next week, Graham continues encouraging Kyle to talk to Cain, and gives him one of his old army watches as he tries to guide him towards taking responsibility.

ITV
Will Kyle find the courage to come clean to his family?
