Chapter 20

Kyle and Heath were sitting at the counsellor's office.

"I don't like this." Kyle grunts.

"Come on Ky, it'll be fine." Heath smiles.

"No, it won't Heath." Kyle hisses.

"Ky don't speak to me like that okay," Heath growls.

Kyle lowers his head like a puppy who has just been growled at by its owner.

"Sorry, Ky." Heath sighs.

Kyle looks at Heath and sighs.

"Please, Heath just take me home," Kyle begs.

"No mate we need to help you." Heath sighs.

"No, I don't want to tell them anything." Kyle hisses.

Heath stares at Kyle.

"Ky, just tell them what happened." Heath sighs.

"Oh yea sure hey I got raped by my ex oh yea she's a girl, yes I got overpowered by a girl. No, I'm not a wimp she's just more above than me." Kyle sighs sarcastically.

"Ky, just talk to them okay." Heath sighs as the counsellor walks in.

"Hello Mr Braxton I'm Dr Williams but you can call me Jared. So Mr Braxton can you please explain what happened." Jared asks.

Kyle looks at his feet.

"Ky he asked you a question." Heath sighs.

"I don't want to." Kyle sighs.

"Stop acting like a kid Ky." Heath sighs.

"Then stop treating me like a kid then." Kyle pleads.

"I'm treating you like a kid because you're acting like a kid." Heath hisses.

"just leave me alone," Kyle whispers.

"Mr Braxton would you like to follow my assistant out to get us some food while I talk to your older brother." Jared smiles unfazed by the bickering between Kyle and Heath.

"Nooooooooo please I need to stay with him." Kyle pleads.

"Hi, Kyle want to follow me to get food. I promise I won't hurt you." His assistant grins.

Kyle shakes his head.

"It's okay Ky, you'll be fine," Heath whispers rubbing Kyle's shoulder.

Kyle slowly follows taking her hand and letting her take him to get food.

"Mr Braxton." Jared sighs.

"Heath." Heath sighs.

"Heath I think you need to give your brother more space, he's 23 and you are treating him like a child, you need to let him be a 23-year-old." Jared sighs.

"Most 23-year-old males aren't raped by their ex-girlfriends and he doesn't want to be left alone." Heath hisses.

"Inside he probably does you just need to let him know he can be left alone." Jared sighs.

"You don't know my brother you don't know how much he loved that girl." Heath hisses.

"On that, I have a question. My older brother Brax still can't touch Kyle without him screaming why?" Heath asks.

"I'll figure that out when your brother gets back." Jared smiles.

"Why?" Heath asks.

"Cause I need his POV." Jared sighs.

Kyle walks back in with chocolate and chips.

"Okay now Kyle this might be hard but on this whiteboard please write the name of people you trusted the most before this incident." Jared sighs.

Kyle writes on the board.

'Brax and Phoebe.'

"Whose Phoebe?" Jared asks.

"My ex." Kyle mumbles.

"Right and whose Brax?" Jared asks.

"My oldest brother." Kyle mumbles.

"Okay now in your board I want you to write names of the people you trust the least now." Jared sighs.

Again Kyle writes 'Brax and Phoebe.'

"Now Kyle I can understand why you no longer trust your ex-girlfriend but why your brother?" Jared asks.

Kyle looks at his feet, refusing to talk.

"Ky." Heath pushes.

"Cause it will hurt too much for someone I trust to hurt me again." Kyle mumbles.

"But Ky Brax would never hurt you, you know that right." Heath sighs.

"I thought Phoebe would never hurt me and look how that turned out." Kyle sighs.

"Now Kyle I want you to go out tonight like most single 23-year-olds. Alone without your brothers." Jared grins.

"No, I don't want to," Kyle screams falling to his knees.

Heath looks down at Kyle.

"Please, Dude no don't make him go out," Heath begs.

"I think it's for the best." Jared sigh.

"No no no no no no no please," Kyle begs and starts to scream his head off like a child.

"Dude." Heath sighs.

Dr Williams eyes bludge this was going to be harder than he thought.

Oh so Kyle is cutting Brax out preemptively to protect himself. That makes sense. Poor guy, though. Brax is probably the person he needs most right now. Think the therapist has a point when it comes to not treating Kyle like a child, but I really hope they don't take his advice and force Kyle to go out on his own, considering what's out there waiting for him. He really is very badly traumatised. Poor Kyle :( Looking forward to the next chapter x

Chapter 21

It took Heath a long time to calm Kyle down.

"Ky, it's alright." Heath shushed him.

"No, it isn't ." Kyle cries running hands through his hair.

"Mr Braxton, how old are you?" Dr Williams smiles.

Heath looked up at him.

"Don't you dare." He hisses.

"Mr Braxton." Dr Williams pushes.

"23." Kyle mumbles.

"In my opinion, you're 12." Dr Williams sighs.

"No more." Heath hisses.

"You turn to your brother for everything, you cry a lot and you refuse to be alone without your brother. Mr Braxton, you act like not even a teenager, you act like a child." Dr Williams grunts.

"STOP IT!!!!!" Heath screams.

"I'm 23, not 12." Kyle mumbles.

"Then act like it." Dr Williams hisses.

"You're out of line." Heath hisses.

"Am I?" Dr Williams questions.

"Yea you are, make him hate himself than he already does ." Heath hisses.

"Stop treating him like a child and maybe he'll grow up." Dr Williams hisses.

"Your sessions over I'll see you next week, same time Mr Braxton." Dr Williams sighs.

Kyle stands up out of his chair and walks out the door.

"Great thanks now I have that to deal with." Heath hisses.

"Or you can let him be the 23-year-old he is and let him grow up, go out without you by his side holding his hand." Dr Williams grunts.

"You have to deal with him for 1 hour a week, I have to live with him and all his meltdowns." Heath hisses.

"Is he a burden?" Dr Williams asks seeing Kyle in the doorway.

"No, he's my little brother. I'll do anything to help him, to make him forget." Heath hisses.

"Heath, I wanna go." Kyle mumbles.

"Yep, let's go, bro." Heath smiles.

Kyle lets Heath take him by the shoulder and take him to the car.

"Heath you mean it, you'll do anything" Kyle whispers.

"Anything Ky." Heath whispers.

"Will you let me never live a properly again it just hurts too much." Kyle cries.

Heath felt sick yes he wanted to help his brother but not living wouldn't help but it hurt Kyle's life.

"I'll do my best bro." Heath smiles but he couldn't he couldn't let his brother practically end his life at 23.

When Kyle and Heath arrived home Brax and Ricky were waiting.

"Hey mate how'd it go?" Ricky asks.

Kyle rushes off to his room.

"He was a douche." Heath grunts.

"Who Ky?" Brax asks.

"No not Kyle you idiot the stupid counsellor." Heath grunts.

"Why?" Ricky asks.

"He was rude to Ky, called him a child." Heath frowns.

"Did you find out why Ky hasn't warmed to me?" Brax asks.

"Yea Brax its cause he trusts you the most, you need to keep pushing him to make him see that you're not going to hurt him, but first we need to make him act like an adult." Heath sighs.

"So what send him off to a party, no Heath no way, he's not ready." Brax grunts.

"How about him picking up dinner." Heath shrugs.

"Yea I guess we need to give him responsibility but ask him to do something that doesn't put him in too much danger." Brax smiles.

"Ky," Heath calls.

"Yea." Kyle sighs walking out.

"Can you go get dinner for us?" Heath asks.

"Are you coming?" Kyle asks.

"Na mate none of us are we want you to do it alone." Heath smiles lightly.

"Noooooooooo please I'm not ready," Kyle screams.

"Ky no screaming," Ricky growls.

"You're not my mum." Kyle grunts.

"Oi Ky, Ricks just trying to help." Heath points out.

"Well she's not none of you are, don't make me go please," Kyle begs.

"Ky just please do this one little thing for me you won't get hurt." Heath smiles.

"What if I do." Kyle sobs.

"Then I'll help you get through it Ky, you're a Braxton, so fight like one. You are strong you'll get through this." Heath whispers.

"Okay." Kyle sighs looking at his hands.
