Nevermind we must move on and this time i am going to go for: 2 - I love the three 'c's on the first one - cropping, composition and clouring but i think the text spoils it slightly for me. The second is nice as an avatar but maybe the face has been over airbrushed so she doesn't seem real and there are too many dots. I think the third one is OK and nicely cropped but the only little thing that bothers me is her eye being right in the corner. (Sorry for being really picky ) 8 - Same reasons as before - I like the first one, particularly the interesting cropping. I am not sure about the second one as I am not a fan of multiple images, particularly the exact same image. I am also not keen on the name banner, I think there is too much going on in it. The third one is OK but the cropping is very central. I think it a nice idea but it is not to my personal taste compared to some of the others. Liz Posted September 17, 2006 Report Share Posted September 17, 2006 Set 5. I adore second icon; it's beautfiul. Fantastic use of cropping and colouring and I like the positioning of the text. Unfortunately, I can't help but really dislike the first one. I don't like mask brushes and see them as something of a cop-out, especially on this icon, where it just doesn't... fit. The third icon is nice, but I don't really like the use of cropping. Set 4. Purely because I cannot think of one thing that I actually like about any of them (as horrible as that may sound). On the second, everything is fine, although the brush lets it down. The third is my fave out of this set. Everything is done well. #5- Well, I don't like the first, I think it would've been better without the two brushes. It makes it look too crowded, while the pic already is. The second out of this set is just gorgeous! I love everysingle thing about it! Although the third just doesn't look right, I don't know what it is, maybe it's how the hair is green and the colouring is creamish. Not sure about this icon. But overall it was a great set! The second one is good, but I think a bit more of Jodi's face would be better. The 3rd one is good, and I love the colouring. But I think it might look better without the boxes. #8 - I love the colouring of the first one, but the cropping seems a bit strange, and it looks just a tad plain. I'm not sure what you could add, but it just needs a little spark. The second one is perfect! I think the colouring is overdone in the last one, too bright and overpowering, and her eyes look freaky! It's a bit hard to see the tiny text, but I think it's better that way. I, myself, am not a fan of tiny text which has "big" spaces between each line (vertically). I like the second one, but am not too sure on the colouring. It seems a tad washed out, in a way, and I'm not really a fan of that type of thing (well for most things, anyway). Again with the tiny text, I don't really like it. I think the tiny text needs to be a bit smaller, or otherwise remove it and leave it with the heart. The cropping is ok. The third one, well, it's sort of hard to explain but it seems to be a bit blurred, with sharp bits, which I don't like. I think that just ruins it. The cropping is nice, though. I think it' could use more colouring, and on the 2nd one, no brush. And the 3rd, maybe a better backround colour, as it would make it stand out more.
