-Jade- asked if I could do a tut for some of my colouring. Ive written it up at my LJ, but I just wanted to say that its not my original colouring. Its from another tut that I modified to suit some of the caps I have. So I do not take full credit for this colouring.

We're going from Ex_01.png to Ex_02.png

Here at my LJ with other examples.

Thank you - I'm gonna do this when I get home, I'll show you what I get. :)

TUTORIAL #2

Here's another tutorial, and we will be going from this to this. Play around with the settings and opacities, if you really need to. And remember the effect will work differently on every pic. And the pic may need to be a little bit desaturated if its not, coz then the effect wont work well. Now lets get to it.

1.Grab your base. Crop/Resize anyway you like.

2.Duplicate your base and set to screen, 30%.

3.Add a new layer. Fill with #77A0CF. Set it to Soft Light.

4.Add a new Hue/Saturation adjustment layer. Up the saturation to somewhere between 25-50.

5.Duplicate the Hue/Saturation layer and set to soft light.

6.Now go back to the starting base and sharpen it.

And you're done! Really simple, and gives you a really nice effect!

I got this Amir thanks :)

Feathered Circle thing in Avatars.

Ok Well sometimes you see people making a circle with another picture in there avatars right like this:1.jpg Well I am going to show you (if you dont already know) how to get something like this: Untitled-1.jpg <<<< See the Little image thing in the corner is all faded at the edges :D

Ok Well here we go.

1.Get your Base. The Av you want you faded thing on.

NOW Duplicate the whole thing Image>>>Duplicate

Re Size this image until your happy. It cant be to big ,remember the face part has got to fit

Now Desaturate your image. If its to dull as mine was do this:

Dulplicate you base twice

1. Screen 50%

2.Softlight 100%

NOW for the faded thingy.

Get your marquee tool. In the circle. Set the pixels to 10.

Selecet the part of the picture you want.

The little circle moving lines thing should come up.

Copy and Paste onto your Avatar. If parts of the original picture you pasted are going onto were you dont want, get the eraser tool, with Flow set to 20% and rub it out.

Now you done. Hope you understand!!! Post your results

I use PS 7.

My First Tutorial

We’ll be going from this to this.

1. Crop your base to 100 x 100.

2. Duplicate your base and set to Screen 100% Opacity and Fill.

Depending on the quality of your image, you may need to do this more than once, I did it twice.

3. Duplicate your base and set to Colour 100% Opacity and Fill.

4. Duplicate your base and set to Pin Light 100% Opacity and Fill.

5. Duplicate your base and set to Linear Burn 100% Opacity and 7% Fill.

6. Go to Layer > New Fill Layer > Solid Colour > # E54F4F

7. Go to Layer > New Fill Layer > Selective Colour.
