Let's not forget, Luke is only, what 23? And Nick, probably is no older than 26-28 (though he may as well be 40 given how dull he is at times).
-
Agree aboutTug. He's like the cowardly bully in the playground who's tough when he's got like 4-5 mates around but is the first to cry when someone flips it on HIM then plays the victim. He seems to get even less sympathetic every week as 1993 rolls on! Damian/Angel, the producers probably chickened out of upsetting the applecart. And Alf charging around like he's the law in Summer Bay was unnecessary.
-
Well, he'll be around for another 7yrs so, you're gonna have to grit your teeth.
-
Well, there was Spencer and Maddy and Jett was recently adopted but I see what you mean. Back to 1993, We would have probably have wound up with Oliver Twist-esque scenes of Sam being given short shrift and slapped around at the school had the writers gone that way. Also, David Dixon's teeth (I'm remembering and have recently seen a couple clips)... Man!
-
Well, if you remember it was mentioned Damian was often beaten by Nathan when Irene was too drunk or couldn't be bothered.
-
But it was established Alf had known Jack Hunter before the family showed up (wasn't it?) 2003 for the most part is a bit of blur for me, at least H&A wise.

Caught up to 1345. Tug is really hard to feel sorry for when Shane rips the **** on him. He would be a lot more brutal if it were SHANE that was walking around in a sandwich board promoting a baby store. The Shane/Angel picnic was predictable. Kind of deserved it for putting the picnic that close to the Ocean! The Yellow Charger which will become a staple for the next four years. It's almost as Iconic as Alf's jeep! Doom Piano played over the sene when Fin realised "He's here!" Anyone'd think WWE's Undertaker came to Summer Bay the way she was going on! Morag the manipulator strikes again but she's sort of put on the back burner in favor of Adam and the teens for the remainder of the week. Alf was a tad judgemental towards Irene but he's been kind of like that a lot lately.

Greg wasn't a million years older than her. If I'm to understand, when he told Bobby his backstory He and Jacqui were 18 when they had Sam so by 1991, Greg would have been 25-26 at a push, Bobby was probably only like 5 years younger than him.
-
They should have did what they did with Daphne on Neighbours; Have her come back for a proper goodbye.
-
Hard to argue with that but it's for her own bloody gain to overcompensate for the relationship she never had with Bobby.
-
Damo is probably too goody-two-shoes even for Sarah. She preferred "bad boys" like the Tugster or .

I can just see Addario doing that! -
^ Why? They were both consenting Adults and it's not like she was still at school, in fact she was a 2nd year Uni student! Anyhow, before Old H&A Fan does his block, I'm summing up the week of 1336-40. - The trial despite the delay was more dramatic than I remembered. - That Bikini that Sarah would have worn (kind of disappointed she didn't) seems quite modest to what was available then and is now! - Kev's exit seemed hurried but I guess Wes Patten's contract was running out. I love the doom piano sting when he confronted Shane - The old shack is starting to look like I remember it when - Shane and Angel seem to at least show some semblance of passion in their relationship after what seemed like a tepid period where he was either off with Damo or Kev, or she was off with Sarah. - Robyn looked terrific but Monna Ramadan was playing an Aerobics instructor, so she had to. Luke reminded me of GMTV's Mr Motivator crammed into the Spandex (probably done deliberately for the female viewing contingent) - Morag be scheming! Can't wait for more of that! - Irene's return! Classic comedy. She got stitched up good and proper by those two thieving cows! We'll get more laughs out of her in the next year.
-
Fin would be a bit young for Nick in all fairness and he'd a bit boring for her. Although

We know it's the tailend of 1993 but it doesn't become obvious that it's christmas for a good few weeks yet.

When will the PTB realize that this recast is just plain not working?! -
I'm just glad Greg left when he did because he would have probably have had to be restrained by Baliffs during court proceedings, dissolving the last grain of sympathy any fan may have for him. 1335 THREW away a perfect chance to address Adam's fate on two filler subplots (Shane/Kevin and Luke/Roxy/Beds) that should really be in a Tuesday or Wednesday ep. Okay they wanted to build suspense but they could have at least let ep finish on the actual sentencing? Sarah was smoking in that ep, better looking than Angel (who in all fairness only really herself down with the garish tights that didn't go well with her midriff top). Party-Pooper Alf struck again. Tug's sympathy jar is almost empty, a couple more slapdowns before it's full again. And I was rooting for Shane (not so much in his outburst that made him look even more immature than Sam) but there was a lot of truth in what he was saying, Don was letting Sam take the Mick. Even Angel, who has hardly been home as of late (or at least in scenes with Nick, Shane or Don) could have probably seen it. Didn't know whether Shane labelled Sam a little turd (not wrong if he did) or Turkey but somebody told me it was the latter and either acceptable. It just me think of a storyline on Degrassi Junior High where one of the male leads, a guy named Wheels, continuously hid behind his parents death as an excuse for being a prat and continued to do so into High School before his eventual downfall in a spin-off TV movie. I know Sam's only a child but.... Morag playing the puppet master... intriguing.

^ "Cruellest Plague".

Fin is still at school, she will be seen in Uniform (which is suspect is last years as it might just be a fraction shorter, not a bad thing lol) until the end of the year. She's just more at the diner these days as she has no real teen group to hang around with.
-
The thing is, it's close enough to the Caravan Park without actually being on the land.
-
The way I see it, the Maitre'D sussed Shane's character out from the get-go AND was a bit picky over the colour of Kevin's skin. Sam, while understandably angry/upset, needed a whupping. Don was letting him ride roughshod over him the whole week and the mess with Nick's gunbelt got up my nose a bit. I would have been to Don "I know he's going through a hard time but he touches my gunbelt again after specifically being told not to, there'll be all hell to pay". Fin is turning into a female Matt. I bet Tina Thomsen was probably fed up at this point and gave notice of quitting but the producers probably talked her into staying into early '94. Glad people bar Alf and Donny are treating Adam like a human being again, not a lump of smelly brown stuff they stepped in. Morag's smile at the end of 1330 while on the phone... The Joker would be proud!
-
Anything that represents gaming that us 90s kids grew up with and a shocked Morag is an instant win!

Ditto.

I can just see Palmer getting para over Don's presence and Jett being equally worried.
