Just on a completely unrelated note.... Jen, have you seen that film Thelma and Louise? Its about two trailer trash women on a fun weekend, one is attacked by a violent man. The other one defended her by killing the man. They then steal a car, go on the run from the law across America, robbing stores for money and supplies, shoot men who try and hurt them etc. Its a great film, a good plot to show an oppressed minority fighting back against the phobic majority. Could really do with updating to another type of minority and another continent with vast open spaces. Casey can drive can't he? Probably learn to shoot a gun too. You should watch the film. Great ideas. Just sayin....

Oh Jen :lol: Thanks so much for that! hahaha. I wrote a section as well, but didn't want to post it in case it was the wrong thing to do, however, now I can. (this bit goes before yours): Outside Casey's house. Dex is pacing up and down anxiously Dex (on phone): Romeo, help! Heath's beating up Casey, can't you come and stop him? Romeo (in a strop): Well its not my problem anymore. Casey's your problem now, you think of something! (slams phone down) Dex (thinking): What does he mean, Casey's my problem now? Unless- oh! (he suddenly has a revelation and rushes back into the house) Grabbing his laptop, he smashes it onto Heath's head. Heath collapses onto the floor instantly and Dex's jaw drops.

See, Dex love, this is where you have to DO something. Preferrably involving a big heavy object and Heath's head. (~Start of fantasy sequence~ Then, Heath would fall down dead in a pool of blood, Casey would swear undying love to you, you'd both become fugitives from the law, run off together to Mexico and live happily ever after. Scorchio. And Casey, if you were still with Romeo, this wouldn't happen. Romeo would just wade in there and sort Heath out with fisticuffs. ~End of fantasy sequence~) Anyway.... back to reality I like this bit: Not friends maybe, but definitely becoming a team of some sort. I really hope Dex does do something to help Casey, can't he use his vast intelligence to prevent Heath hurting him? I felt so sorry for poor Casey, with no indication of WHY Heath is beating him up. Poor kid Good going Jen, your fic has a definite emotional effect on me.

Generally I echo what Jen said: Dex is the hero And not knowing whether he's supposed to like Romeo or not Considering what's been going on in other fanfics at the moment, its probably Romeo who wouldn't like him Poor Lucas remembering Jack protecting him And it all fits with him leaving Summer Bay but really feeling aimless. Then coming back to find Nicole! That is so sweet. I can imagine she is strong enough to motivate him and stop him just wandering round pointlessly. Wonder what Geoff and Aden would think of him and Nicole? And I liked that Nicole just took in her stride what Dex said about their daughter from the future and didn't get shocked. She just accepted that he says things like that some times. And this fits with another certin fanfic I read lately, whose could I mean Jen? April/Xavier When he saved her at Ruby's party in the series I had the feeling they should get back together and That Woman Who Stole My Name should get lost. Well done, Red. You've added lots of stuff to make us all think and talk and relate to real and fictional stories with all these characters. Masterful.

Yes, wouldn't it? But I don't think Indi's 'that kind of girl', she lacks confidence after all her boyfriends seem to go off with someone else. A chance missed. They also missed out on the 'who's baby is it?' storyline where Ruby could be pregnant and not know if the baby's Romeo's or Casey's. Probably too clicheed?

Glad I signed in to the board just now! I just love the relationship between the Braxtons, its really making them into a family. You're good at doing that when you write about them. But Heath... gay What potential there is in this storyline....
