I think this chapter is fine. Its subtle. Heath is very mysterious, always rushing off places, but he's obviously got himself sorted out and tries to help other people e.g. Romeo. I also like the way its centred around Brax trying to make his restaurant work and trying to get his brothers to help out, but they don't want to It sounds realistic, like a busy manager would be.

Haha, I've been there. Wondering what to do at a party and not knowing many people. Trying to do 'normal' teenage things I get the feeling this chapter is the calm before the storm and something major is going to happen soon re: Dex/Casey. Not sure what, but Jen is the master of suspense

Aha Jen! Glad you liked it I thought the title would appeal to you. As I said above, the title means three things. The most significant for you might be that Dex is one way or another, we don't know. One minute he's saying he's the nearest to a girl that Ruby could get and he's 'not even a man really.' The next minute he's getting a bit turned on by cuddling Ruby with his hands full of her hair. 'Go figure' as our American friends would say. Yes, this story is a bit like Kim/Hayley/Scott. But it would be so much better than that cos its happened more naturally. Surely Romeo didn't go round to Ruby's house prepared and surely Casey didn't go off in Xavier's car prepared. It all just happened. Didn't it? Come on Home and Away, be brave!!! They could actually show Ruby not going through with having a baby and the consequences of that. Getting really carried away now! Scriptwriters! Attention please!

The flow chart Teenage life, eh? He's more worried they are discussing his failings or attributes, I reckon....

Thanks Red, Zetti, Carina. Just thought of it today, as I said above. I think the title can be understood in so many ways, it applies to Ruby's choice, who the father is, and which way Dex is. Just my philosophical mumblings

Oh thanks Scotcaz. It just came to me today. I think H&A have missed a golden opportunity for 'who's baby is it?' They should not have made Nicole pregnant but Ruby instead and had this storyline. IMO.

Ooh, Leah, what's going on with you? I hope she's having a steamy romance with someone I like the way you put the speech in italics, Lucii, it makes it so clear to read. I hate fics when the speech is all muddled up with the rest of the narrative

Have you read the spoilers Miranda? About April & Dex I mean? No! No I haven't. I haven't read any spoilers, I was just imagining what COULD happen both in Red's story or in the series. I was just thinking aloud about how could she possibly choose? Xavier and Dex are both nice in different ways , neither is horrible and she would have a difficult decision. Would be a good storyline though. Better than Indi/Romeo/Ruby/Casey.

I've been thinking: if- and I mean IF, cos I don't know what's going to happen- a love triangle develops between Xavier, April and Dex, how would April choose between them? Talk about the devil and the deep blue sea

I think Maz and Sid were fine when it was a fun relationship with no strings, like she wanted at first. Then after she didnt' die, it became all serious and like they've been married for years, getting bored with each other. She managed Dex/ his crush/ Mitzi etc very well, but I don't think she's done anything for Indi. She seemed to take Romeo's side in it all. But I suppose she did live with Romeo for a while so maybe feels like he's her son more than Indi's her daughter. Complicated I would have taken Indi's side personally. In fact, Indi doesn't have a mother figure really. I think if Maz splits up with Sid, she should move in with Irene (if there's room). I was going to say she should move back in with Miles and co, but the Nicole situation wouldn't be good in that case.
