Remember, all double entendres are entirely intentional Otherwise I'd probably never write anything... I'm glad to hear that, because otherwise I would be entirely ashamed of dragging this story into the gutter. No, no, everything I write is full of double entendres, even the slash. I don't think people get them half the time. If you read them with a Carry On frame of mind, then you'll get them. Matron! -
hahahahaha! Love it. I wonder if Miles will get a girlfriend in this fic, it is about time. After what he said to Romeo that time about vaguely remembering that electric feeling which Romeo had with Ruby. Poor old Miles. Yes, was that from Glee? I thought of that. Although, it was so dark the Brokeback Mountain couple could have been wallpapering the tent for all I saw. Which in fact would have been much more gay really

Oh well done, my young apprentice Just off to bed so will comment more tomorrow.... EDIT: Good morning all Yes, that was hilarious. Thanks so much for doing that. I loved the Roverine bit too, and Lyclops swinging the wheelchair round. Hm... I'll have to get on with the next bit Well done, Red. You are hereby promoted to Official Fight Scene Writer. There will be other scenes coming up -
Dexter Walker - Tom Green & Charles Cottier
Miranda replied to Jen's topic in Character/Actor Discussion
I agree with all you say Jen. Dex has the aura of a possibly gay young man and it would be so good if he was, for him, us, Home and Away, the TV world, the real world. But I just have to ask: who? Xavier ogling who? There's a character called Miranda coming along soon? She better be a character I like, that's all I can say. Either a super villain or someone glamorous. I was here first, ner! However, fortunately its not me in my bathers Xavier's ogling. He would run the other way if it was me! -
God, that annoys me. Shows always think they've ticked the box of gay relationship by using two female characters. It is so rare that it is a male couple. Its just a cop out, isn't it? They just want to say: we handle all social situations, including gay relationships. But its never two guys. So predictable. Did you watch Out of the Blue, the BBC soap? It definitely handled gay relationships and yes it was two girls, but at least it was a proper relationship, not just a quick fling like Charlie and Joey. The two girls (Poppy and Peta) lived together and got married, it was sweet.

Oh that bits brilliant with Dex woffling on and Casey interrupting. Made me LOL. And the bit about Casey carefully schooling his features. Did you know me at school or something? I spent all my teenage years like that. You've summarised a whole section of society I reckon: the teenagers who don't fit in and decide they don't want to. I wasn't expecting that either. I love the way Casey is pursuing Dex. Dex has got used to the idea that no one likes him. But he's Wrong in this case

ahh, Zetti, Casey is so brave isn't he? Poor Lily I wonder if she comes back in Mirror of Love, or any future fics I think Casey being brave shows in every fic, doesn't it? The Braxtons have obviously been through a lot. Thats really good, well done

(bows) Now, references: you got the James Bond ones, surely? And the 'you're a bit short for a (stormtrooper)?' Possibly also Charliqe going green with rage... Even I'm puzzled about my own references I think the whole scene has rather an Austin Powers atmosphere TBH Glad you like it, gang. Perhaps we should call ourselves something, like the Scooby gang -
Oh Jen, you're torturing us by not posting the next bit You know how to keep your fans on tenterhooks!

Dumber and Dumbest hahahahahahah! I'm pinching that So, there's a lot of Lerve in this episode, hm? Excellent. I don't know whether to applaud Nicole or glare at her jealously I suppose Lucas falls into her preferred category of 'older man' now, doesn't he? Very well done Red, an excellent episode

Says the guy who isn't a comic buff but does a good impersonation of one:It seems to vary a bit from version to version but usually it's the result of him having his back broken in a battle with a supervillain some time before he formed the X-Men. As always, I am indebted to you sir (bows) -

1. Yes, Professor Dex is in a wheelchair, cos in the X Men, Professor X is in a wheelchair, despite being a powerful mutant (can't remember why he's in a wheelchair- Red?) Hence why he's 'Professor Dex'. 2. Thanks for your praise (bows). It just goes to show how much I know about geeky sci fi stories 3. WHAT THE HECK'S HAPPENED TO THIS BOARD? All the threads have gone weird -
Ooh, Casey's turning into a gangsta, very smooth. (swoons). I can hear the dramatic music as he sweeps Lily away with him and drives off into the sunset with her. Very interesting

(bows deeply). Thanks all. I edited chapter 2 cos there was a bit I wrote and then forgot to put in- doh! Zetti- well I suppose Roverine is covered in blond hair, assuming he's a natural blond, fnar fnar, oo er missus. Red- it must be the close fitting superhero suits leading to all this fancying, I certainly noticed all that going on in the films More on their suits later... Carina- can you be my full time reviewer please? -
That's so interesting. Dex is like a psychiatrist, analysing Casey, which I always feel like he is doing anyway with people. He's always trying to find out how people tick. Also interesting that Casey was sneakily finding out if he's going out with April, wonder what his motivation could be... This is brilliant, so subtle
-
Yes, I think Dex could potentially be one of the greats, he is unique, there's no other word for it
