  1. I've had a couple of questions about my tiger experience today, so though General Chat was probably a good place to share pictures from the day. We went to Kanchanaburi, outside Bangkok, where the Bridge over the river Kwai is, and then to a Tiger Temple near there. The story of the Tiger Temple is that the monks were given a baby tiger back in Feb 1999 who had been supposed to be 'killed and stuffed' but the man given the job by his wealthy employer, got the cub to the monks instead. They cared for it, but it died in July 1999. However, Kanchanaburi runs alongside the Burma border, where lots of poaching goes on - the Thais get big money for the bodies of tigers, but usually leave cubs to fend for themselves in the jungle. When people heard about the first tiger cub incident, they started bringing the monks tiger cubs that they found ... and so it continued. Nowadays, the temple has like 15 full grown tigers, and 8 cubs. All were reared among humans, and so 'imprinted' on them; they do not attack. The temple has been open ten years now, and only ever had one attack from the tigers. I don't believe they're drugged, as we saw them pouncing at trees, prowling, and running around. It's just so very hot, and, in the canyon where they all were, their handlers are with the tourists at all times, leading them by the hand from tiger to tiger. Now, the temple has the tigers, a leopard [kept in a large 'natural habitat styled' cage because she's not 100% trustworthy], numerous water buffalo, cows, bulls, hogs, deer, stags, ponies, horses, peacocks, goats which all run free! Cute cub: Me with said cub: the canyon: the cub that lashed his tail repeatedly on my sister [she got a big fright!] some of the ponies running free big scary bull! [there were loads of them!] && one of the newest additinos to the temple; see how thin she is it was an awesome day

  14. Because the majority of them are on Todd's facebook account friends list, and I know that that's Todd on there Don't get us wrong, there's plenty of people pretending to be Todd / Becs / whoever on facebook too, but the real people do have accounts on it FYI, some of the people on Todd's list aren't actually real. They've added him and he's just accepted them. The real Rhys Wakefield is on Facebook but he is cleverly disguised and is NOT on Todd's friend's list. Lol yeah, I saw his account today. It's gas how they have to come up with almost pen names to hide themselves, like Rebecca has done.

  22. It's been a while since I posted in this thread I do believe. Just catching up on my H&A week, as I missed all this weeks' episodes, and I have to say, I absolutely enjoy the way the writer's are taking Aden as a character at the moment - As far as Todd goes - as always, I don't have complains about his acting, although I did feel that we had one or two scenes where he could have shown a more 'joky' face. We all remember the scene where Belle was by the pool table, and Aden leans against hte dooframe, with a pure "arrogant badboy" grin on his face - in fact, I think Zoe has that as her Avator now - and we haven't seen that sort of self-satisfied look on Aden's face for a while, whereas I think there's been a few situations where Todd could have used it, for example But, obviously it probably didn't fit in with the directions of the writers. Methinks we'll be seeing much of Aden next week, and, whilst I dislike the way it's linkedto someone else so closely, as I explained above, it is great to see him getting away from Adelle for a while, and being his 'own' character again!
  23. Me too Cal! As I've said before, I still do think that David is doing a good job of Xavier; I agree with others that he could do with a little more "expression" in his facial expressions, but on the whole, I'm being kept satisfied with Xaiver as a character, to be honest.
  24. I'm feeling so happy with Jai at the moment - he's finally becoming the character that we all thought he could be, but were never entirely sure would happen Some of his latest scenes have actually made me chuckle out loud, which doesn't often happen with characters that aren't on my favourites list Jordan's coming on in leaps and bounds, to me it seems like he's finally "settling" into being Jai, and that's making it all the more realistic. Bring it on Jordan, we're watching!
