didn't look to me like he was being a sick dog - looked to me like he was being a friend like, who did she turn to about the baby issue? and who did she turn to when she came out of hospital and felt she couldn't talk to jack? so it's natural that after jack's death, she would then turn to Roman, and he, in turn, would do everything in his power to keep her happy / occupied / not just silently grieving over Jack... like a good friend... or so i think anyway

I\'m really looking forward to seeing a new side of Aden, with a new job on the go - and meeting new people, and working in something that\'s physically challenging AND spending some time away from Belle - bring it on and let\'s see what happens!

I loved yesterday episode, especially the scene where they were over at Roman's house, and Nicole was attempting to cook them dinner, for two reasons; [a] one, we got some nice Adelle scenes; they were comfortable in each other's company. There wasn't any angst, or strain, or tension - just happiness and a genuinely unworried atmosphere between them, despite their nerves for the next day, for each of them, && two, it showed them really settling into the bay as a couple. Whilst it was unlikely that Nicole wouldn't at least scan through the recipe and see that it would take 2 hours to cook, I loved the idea of them having a double date, with her doing the cooking - it was almost like they were playing house, haha, with Geoff & Nicole inviting the others over for dinner, type, thing. Anyway, I hope that we have some more nice scenes coming up - while the drama etc shows us fantastic acting from them both, we all know that the Adelle fans just love some happy moments!

That'd be awesome; I'll keep an eye out for it!

I liked reading this Would love to know more - like why Drew didn't recognise Belle even though she did him, and who he's married to, where he met her etc etc. Maybe someday you'll do a sequel to this one-shot Enjoyed reading it though!

Neither was I - the parts with the axes absolutely struck terror into me! Hadn't a CLUE about some aspects of this film before I saw it!

Copied this from the Australian Discussion place, as I think I went off track and more into a Roman/Martha comment :] So this isn't directed to anyone in this thread [re comments re Roman] it's from the other one, but reposting it here, to further develope discssion I don't know why people are thinking that Roman is behaving inappropriately? He's in love with Martha, and no doubt can't help those feelings, but it's not as though he has acted on any of them, rather the is just there, supporting her, and spending time with her - and while it might be slightly selfish because he's in love with her, he's also keeping her mind off the fact that Jack is gone. Hugo = a busybody, sticking his nose where it doesn't belong. Where does he get off telling martha that Roman is in love with her? Doesn't she have enough on her plate without having to panic about that - and, it'll no doubt result in her losing her temper AND a friend that she can sorely afford to lose. Who does that leave her with now, if she blows up at Roman, and Jack's dead, and Tony's unsociable... Bah at Hugo. I was loving the close friendship developing between Martha and Roman. wholly agree that the way he treated Charlie was awful - as she said herself, she cna't do anything right around him BUT I think that the way he treated her made him human; For much of the time, we've been seeing a nicey nice Roman who pleases everyone and what not, it's great to see him finally becoming a realistic person!

Evening with Claire Danes, Meryl Streep & others. This film was hard to watch; it was slow, and very sad. Left you hanging a little at the end, but in a good way - although ... I did find it hard to watch

I'm exactly the same - it was a grand movie, and I liked the way they formed it but ... it didn't move me or anything like that... [high five] Saw Changeling yesterday - oh my god, it's chilling that that was a real story.

i read the last page, before the one that this quote was on, and can i say, reading those comments i thought EXACTLY of that story ; that boy, and the young engineering student involved only lived a short distance from myself. Tragic case, and, I will say, I'm one of the ones who cannot abide him because he hid the body, and then even joined the search afterwards - pretending to know nothing, and that, for me, is unforgiveable - yet I can see also, how he would have been in shock, praying to get out if it somehow, in the same way that Angelo was - only for Angelo it was different as it was a cop that he'd killed.

Chilly here now - I'm sitting by the open window and shivering a little from the breeze coming in!
