***

DINER – kitchen
Hayley confronts Alex about the steroids. When he tells her it’s none of her business she slaps him. She runs out past Josh, who asks her if she is alright.

CARAVAN PARK
Rhys is frustrated about Kirsty’s decision, but Beth tells him Kirsty didn’t have much choice, as she loves Kane. She chose Jack over her family every time – and her parents eventually worked through it, just as she knows Rhys will.
Rhys is also worried about having David as a lawyer – despite he refusing Shelley’s money for months after he left, now her partner is going to get Dani off the charges.

BEACH HOUSE
Hayley is upset about slapping Alex, but doesn’t tell Irene what Alex did. Tasha is worried that soimeone hurt Hayley, but Irene explains that “a problem shared is a problem halved”. Dani enters, needing to talk, and storms out when she realises they are trying to sort out Hayley’s problems

CARAVAN PARK
Hayley apologises about not having time to listen to Dani. Dani is frustrated by Rhys’ stress, but knows it was hard for Rhys to turn to David. She also isn’t happy about having David as a lawyer, but Hayley reassures her that it’ll be fine – one day people will see Kane for ‘what he really is’, but Dani thinks the truth will hurt Kirsty. Hayley tells Dani she can count in Scott, but her face drops when Dani says that she has Alex – therefore they’re ‘lucky’

OUTSIDE SURF CLUB
Hayley and Kirsty talk about what is happening in the family, with Kirsty blaming herself. After the party she feels like she knows what Dani went through. Kirsty insists that she can’t turn her back on Kane now – his life was also ruined.
Alf walks past, telling them that Seb has been given the all-clear. Kirsty leaves, and Hayley and Alf discuss Alex’s and steroids. Alf compares Alex’s determination to his own whilst he was playing.

CARAVAN PARK
Max asks Rhys where he can speak to Kirsty, and if she can still come to the BBQ area, and Rhys tells him to drop it as beth tries to pacify the situation. Max asks if he has to call David ‘Uncle David’.
Dani enters, having had little sleep. Scott arrives as Max leaves, and he tells her that everyone’s just trying to help – they’re concerned about her and will do anything to keep her out of prison. Dani tells him she’s still not playing the victim – she hates the way people look at her.

GYM
Alex asks Hayley if she’s alright, and she apologises for hitting him. She is still furious at him for his lies, and for putting the gym at risk, as well as the problems with Amber. Alex thinks she’s driving him away

BEACH
Seb approaches Alf, wanting to write to the parents of the boy who was killed on the bike, feeling responsible. Alf tells Seb that it was the other guy’s number that came up – if it was meant to be Seb on the bike it would’ve been. Alf tells Seb that he’s delighted that he’s alive, and at least Noah’s bike is now off the road. Seb asks Alf if he had seen Kirsty or jade – he can’t figure out if he fell for Jade because he could see parts of Kirsty in her, or if it was the other way around. Alf advises him to steer clear of the Sutherlands.

CARAVAN PARK
Josh installs some programs on the computer. He asks Beth about the sale of the farm, wondering if she’s interested in buying the caravan park. Josh then learns that Kirsty has moved into a van.

BREAK

UNIVERSITY
Irene apologises to Dani for the previous night, and Dani tells her it’s alright – “the world doesn’t revolve around me”. She briefly tells Irene that people are pressuring her about what to say in court, and they decide the court’s are a lottery – the wrong person won last time around.

GYM
Hayley and Josh talk – he questioning her about Alex upsetting her, and she coming back with comments about his crumbling empire. Hayley mentions the gym is going uphill since he ran the place – as Baz was a lousy choice of manager.

KIOSK
Kirsty gets some drinks, and Tasha questions her about the family dispute. Seb enters, asking after Kirsty, and she apologises for not visiting him in hospital. He tells her he has got things sorted in his head. Kirsty gets upset and runs out

Outside, Kirsty is approched by Josh, who is being kind (er) about she and Kane, romanticising the situation. He offers to tell her story after the trial is finished, to set the record straight – it could be worth a lot of money

UNIVERSITY
Hayley and Dani are working and listening to the uni radio. Irene advises someone to go into law – criticing the current justice system. She mentions Dani by name, saying that she had a reason to run kane down, but it was an accident – and Dani could go to jail for it. Dani is mortified.

CARAVAN PARK
Tasha talks to Beth and Max about family, and school – she wants to be with older kids.
Josh arrives, to drop off the new park leaflets, and a magazine for Tasha – he shows her models, suggesting that she could become one. Beth and Max think she has the looks, but Tasha wonders why she would want to do it

GYM
Hayley arrives to find the gym closed and Alex inside – he pulled rank on Jesse. He wants to talk to her, and apologises for his stupidity. He tells her he doesn’t want his dreams without her – and will do anything for them to be together

BEACH HOUSE
Tasha is still looking at the magazine, and asks Irene why people “wear these things”.
A furious Dani arrives, and Irene is apologetic, having already realised her mistake. Dani is upset about what it could do to her case – Irene has told everyone that she had a reason to want Kane dead. Scott reminds Irene that it’s against the law to talk about the case before it goes to court, and Irene hopes that no one outside uni heard it.

CARAVAN PARK
Beth and Rhys ate making dinner. Beth is distracted by Josh’s earlier suggestion – she doesn’t have enough for the caravan park and would need a partner. Rhys is delighted, and agrees.

DINER
Josh approaches Kirsty about his offer. Kirsty makes sure that it will be she and Kane’s story, and Kane won’t look like the bad guy. Josh says it’ll just be about what they’ve been through – asking if she trusts him. She says yes, she’ll do it…
