Will’s world starts to fall apart. Sally continues to go behind Fisher’s back. Brodie thinks Josh and Dani should be together – but they’ve got other ideas!
Extended Summary
Will and Gypsy get back from the diner. They discuss what to do about the job offer. Will wants to go, but Gypsy isn’t so sure. They decide to keep it quiet. They tell Irene and Hayley that their night out went well. Hayley overhears them saying that they will sleep on it and wants to know what it is they are talking about.
Will goes down to the boat to see Alf in the morning to find out more about Gil. Alf tells him that Gil runs a business and works out that Gil has offered Will a job. Alf says it a great opportunity for Will.
Noah and Jude sit in the diner. Hayley walks in. Hayley tells Noah that she is going to the Uni as well and offers him a lift. Noah says he will get a bus there instead and then walks out.
Brodie and Josh talk in the caravan park. Josh says that his dad wants him to do commerce law, but he wants to do something less materialistic. Josh says that he likes Dani, but thinks that Dani isn’t interested in him. Dani walks out. Brodie tries to convince Dani that Josh is a great guy, but Dani is having none of it.
Jade and Nick walk into school talking about Kirsty’s suspension. Sally tells Don that they had an informal committee meeting after Don left the surf club the night before. She tells them that they have come up with some proposals and that they want Don to look over them. Don says he would throw them away. Don tells Sally that they will both have to go their seperate ways on this one and hope they don’t cancel each other out.
Josh and Jude talk about Uni. Alf talks to Josh about Uni. Alf tells him that their miss him. Gypsy walks into the diner. Alf comes up and talks. Alf starts talking to Gypsy about Will’s new job. Hayley wants to know what Alf’s talking about. Hayley thinks it’s a fantastic opportunity.
Don asks Irene to type up a letter to the department. He is worried if he waits too long Sally’s action group might do some damage to the school. Don says he has an alternative plan.
Hayley walks out of the diner. Will walks in. Gypsy wants to know why Will told Alf and now Colleen knows, and it’s all over town. Gypsy and Will argue over what they about it. Colleen tells them Lance lives in Queensland as well. The heat apparently makes her legs swell up! Thanks for that Colleen.
In the surf club, Brodie questions why Noah isn’t getting a lift from Hayley to the Uni. Alex and Brodie tease Dani over Josh.
Don and Sally continue fighting over the school proposal in the diner. Sally is putting posters up around the town. Gypsy wants to know if Alf thinks it’s a good idea for them to go to Queensland. Alf tells him that he can see nothing wrong with the job Will has been offered.
Noah waits for a bus. Hayley draws up. She asks him if he wants a lift. He says no. Hayley drives off.
Brodie wants to know if Dani is going home. Dani wants to know what Brodie is up. Don tells Sally one of two schools will be closed at the end of the year, Summer Bay or Reefton Lakes High.
