Fisher receives some good news. Shauna and Leah set a test for Vinnie. Joel and Judith are tight-lipped about their relationship.
Extended Summary
Fisher receives some good news: the publisher has accepted his book. He is grateful to June for taking his book and passes the news to Hayley as her illustrations were accepted. Vinnie is at Leah’s place when Sally complains about him. Vinnie is persuaded to do some washing up but Leah takes over. He lifts her out of the way and does the washing.
Judith gets an apology from Joel but tells him to leave it at that. She makes it clear that she does not want to be involved as she does not want to bear his problems. Joel and Judith are tight-lipped about their relationship as both Irene and Gypsy do not know what has happened or why.
Gypsy is back from her weekend at her mother’s. Natalie is OK and is happy to hear of Joel seeing Judith. Joel is not happy hearing this as he is not seeing Judith now.
Shauna is doing some washing when she finds a pair of boxer shorts and asks who is the cross dresser; Leah says they are Vinnie’s. Shauna does not like the idea of her doing Vinnie’s washing. Shauna and Leah set a test for Vinnie to see whether he would do some household chores. Vinnie pops over and Leah tells him she is in a hurry and that she cannot do her washing. He suggests taking her out for a meal, but she tells him she has nothing to wear tonight. Vinnie has not offered to do the washing, thereby Shauna’s point has been proven.
Leah persuades Luke to help Sally, convincing him that Sally likes him as she would not accept help from anyone else. Luke refuses to help as he is afraid of messing her up as Sally’s problems are not in his area of expertise. Leah suggests that he help her as a friend, if not a doctor.
Luke calls over to see Sally. She is rearranging the cutlery and he messes it up. He has decided to help her. She is getting steamed up and he tells her to sit down while he makes coffee…
