There is trouble for Michael when a new boy arrives at the Ross household. Luke’s plan to teach Irene a lesson goes horribly wrong.

Extended Summary
Pippa is angry with Michael as he refuses to agree with her about taking in another kid. Sally gives him the cold shoulder when he asks him what she is doing. She says he has made a decision without consulting the rest of the family – they should have a vote as they always do.
Irene tells Luke that she will keep out of his private life; Luke and Roxy question as to whether she really means it. He thinks that Irene needs a taste of her own medicine.
Luke asks Fisher about the timetable and asks him to come over to his place. He tells Irene that he has lined someone up for her. She gets excited and begs him for some clues as to who her admirer is; Luke refuses to reveal anything.
Pippa returns from the shops and Michael tells him that he called the Dept and Jack will be arriving in a few hours. Pippa and Sam are excited but Sally is not; Pippa points out that she thinks he should have put it to vote first.
Sam goes to Alf’s store for some lollies and asks Tug if he is going to shortchange him. Tug is baffled and Sam reveals that Ailsa asked Luke to keep an eye on Tug in case he shortchanges anyone. Tug freaks out and when Luke arrives in the store to find something for Irene and Fisher, he asks Tug the prices. Tug is annoyed and accuses him for not trusting him.
Jack arrives and is shown around the Surf Club. Sally asks him his reason for leaving; he says his stepdad pushes him around. Sally says that Michael has been like that lately and Jack is shocked. When they return, he gives Michael the cold shoulder. When Michael asks him would he llike to come to the boatshed, Jack tells him to drop the ‘nice guy’ act.
Sarah talks to Tug at the beach and asks him what exactly did Sam say. She points out that he mentioned that Luke would not check on him as he trusts him and states that Luke’s reason for not telling him would be that he’d be afraid he’d react like he is now.
Roxy persuades Luke to spill the beans over his plan; he reveals the secret admirer. She is shocked. Luke insists it is safe but she does not think so. She warns that Fisher may not keep him on his staff. Luke rushes over to Fishers’ but he is already gone. Nick asks him what’s the matter; Luke says that he is dead…
