Removed: Beth

The second set of opening titles for 2007 saw the premature removal of Beth Hunter, which gave viewers at the time an idea that she wouldn’t be returning from her overseas trip. On the day that Beth was due to return, two months later, she was killed off-screen in a car accident.

In the opener, her shot was replaced by a sail boat.

From Episode 4401 onwards, after Israel Cannan’s rendition of the opening theme proved unpopular with fans, an updated version featuring vocalist Luke Dolahenty was used.
