Occupation: Uni Student

Felix was the president of the Student Action group at the local university, first spotted when Dani and Irene came across him leading a demonstration in the quad. He didn’t exactly endear himself to them by revealing he was protesting about the large number of mature students at the university and Dani decided to investigate him in her capacity as editor of the uni newspaper. She spoke to Damien Brownlow, who had stood against Felix for president, and he revealed that Felix was a professional troublemaker, who took payments to organise protests, and that when he found out about Felix’s methods and threatened to expose him Felix had him beaten up. Undeterred, Dani told Felix she was going to publish an article about his methods. Felix refused her offer of an interview and warned her not to cross him. Refusing to be cowed, Dani went ahead and published the article anyway.

The first sign that Felix wasn’t about to take the insult lying down came when he turned up at Hayley and Robbie’s joint birthday party. He started chatting up Matilda, who had apparently managed to convince him she was eighteen, and offered to take her for a spin in his car. Kim stepped in and stopped her and Felix made a quiet exit.

When someone sent a wreath to Dani’s house, she began to suspect Felix was trying to scare her. He turned up at the surf club while she was working at the kiosk and although he appeared superficially pleasant he deliberately spilt a milkshake over a table she had just cleaned. Scott and Kane went to see Felix and warned him to stay away from Dani but he seemed unimpressed with their attempt at intimidation. Scott and Kane then found themselves questioned by the police when Felix was apparently beaten up.

Felix was, by this point, outright stalking Dani. He began following her around the university, causing her to attack the university dean when he startled her, and, having witnessed the incident, called the police on her, resulting in her being effectively suspended. He went into her house when Hayley left it unlocked and messed up her bedsheets purely to let her know he’d been there. After planting fish paste and prawns in her car, he pulled his cruelest stunt yet: he had his girlfriend, Sarah, impersonate a police officer and tell Dani that Scott had been killed. As a result, Scott’s family spent several hours in mourning until he turned up safe. Once again, the police were unable to prove Felix was involved.

Dani took out an AVO against Felix, who promptly phoned her up to tell her it had been a bad move and she wouldn’t get away with it. The police were again unable to prove Felix had made the phone call since he used a public phone. He then began to revert to petty tricks, arranging to have a pile of manure dumped outside the house and an excess of soy milk delivered to the kiosk. Things escalated and Scott and Kane confronted Felix, ending up with assault charges being pressed.

Some weeks later, Felix returned to campus. No sooner was his windshield smashed by a mystery assailant, and a note left which threatened he’d be next. He thought Dani did it, whilst she suspected Kane. However Scott approached Shelley’s fiancé David for assistance, who attempt to dissuade Felix from harassing Dani and her family anymore. That day, he returned to his car and was bashed by a masked assailant. Several days later, he died in hospital.

Although Dani was suspected, she learnt Viv Standish had ordered the attack, but his girlfriend Sarah Lewis had given him an overdose of crystal meth, a drug they had been using together.
