James Martin Posted February 6, 2022 Report Share Posted February 6, 2022 For all the Sun's faults, their TV stories are usually accurate. The show's effectively made for the UK market anyway - it's on a Mickey Mouse channel in Australia - but it's not doing the numbers for C5. I wouldn't bank on Home and Away going back in the 6pm slot either, C5 have treated the show appallingly recently and clearly aren't enamoured with being saddled with a lifetime deal for the show. ~Lynd~ Posted February 6, 2022 Report Share Posted February 6, 2022 This could also spell bad news for the future of the show in Australia.The rating here are beyond awful and the UK is what was keeping it alive.I find it a little odd a full cancellation hasn't been announced since apparently channel 5 pays a large part of the production costs.
