That night, Kierain returns home from training covered in mud.
Bette: How was training?
Kierain: Messy Matt got a bit carried away tackling and tackled me in the mud.
Sadie Ratliff: Oh dear.
Barbara Stone: What is there to do on a Thursday night in Wandin Valley?
Kierain: Not much. Everyone goes quiet tonight. Hey, where are the others?
Bette: Went to the pub.
Kierain: Oh my god. *runs out*
Barbara: What’s with him?
Bette: The townsfolk don't know how you came to life yet, so they'll think you're all me and Rose likes to drink.
Barbara: Oh. *looks shocked*
(At the pub, Rose drunkenly ambles over to Kierain.)
Rose: Kierain? Have you seen the car?
Kierain: Rose, give me the keys. You're too drunk to drive.
*Rose kisses him*
Rose: But who’ll take me home?
Kierain: Me. Where are the others?
Rose: They hitched a bus ride home.
Kierain: Cookie, how much for her drinks?
Cookie: $25.
*Kierain pays him*

The next morning (Friday), Paul is walking to school when Dodge puts a hand over his mouth and drags him into a bush.
*Paul kicks him*
Dodge: SETTLE DOWN! Just a word of warning. Stay away from Atlee or else! *takes his hand away*
Paul: Or else what, you creep?!
*Dodge hits him*
Dodge: THAT! *walks off*
*Atlee is FURIOUS when Paul tells her what happened*
Atlee: OI! DODGEBALL!
Dodge: G’day.
*Atlee storms over to him and punches him in the face*
Dodge: What the hell?
Atlee: STAY AWAY FROM PAUL!
Dodge: But…
*Atlee walks off*
(Meanwhile, Sophie is putting things inside her locker when she sees Blake.)
Sophie: Blake?
Blake: Yo?
Sophie: Can I ask you something?
Blake: Sure.
Sophie: Would you like to go out with me?
Blake: Yeah. How about the new Tom Cruise movie?
Sophie: Sure. *smiles*
*Karen and Misty walk past them*
Karen: How are you feeling, Misty?
Misty: Better.
Karen: You’ve got amazing friends. I’m sure you and Josh will still keep in touch.
Misty: True. There’s FaceSpace.

Misty: Yeah.
*Misty and Karen hug as they walk*
(Later that morning, Steven is helping Maria with her housework.)
Steven: Sorry about the other day.
Maria: It’s okay. I’m sure your aunty has learnt her lesson.
Steven: You know when I mention your name now, she gets all scared. Did you do something to her? *laughs*
Maria: Yeah, I threatened her.
Steven: Never knew you had a dangerous side. *kisses her*
*she laughs*

*Steven and Maria start to kiss each other passionately*
Maria: Steven, are you sure you want to go through with this?
Steven: Yes.
*Maria and Steven resume kissing. An hour later…*

*Steven kisses her*

*they smile at each other*

At Bette’s house, the Bette Brigade are playing Scrabble.
Barbara: Milk. That is a triple word score.
Bette: How can anyone make a word from these? *sighs at her letters*
Sandy: Try your best.
Bette: I got it! *spells the word “Simpleton”*
*Sandy cracks up*
Sandy: Now “simpleton” is funny!
*Bette sees that its 4:00pm and starts to worry as Kierain isn't home from school*
Bette: He should be home by now.
Sadie Ratliff: He’s probably in detention.
Sadie Shelton: Why do you say that?
Sadie Ratliff: Just a thought.
CC: I’m sure he’ll be okay.
*At that moment, Kierain walks in*
Kierain: Man, that was some bull****! *looks fed up*
Bette: What’s the matter, honey?
Kierain: Everyone at school promised to hang out with me, but NO they went off to find Sandy!
Sandy: Me?
Kierain: No, Sandy Crosby.
Sandy: Oh.
Barbara: Why would they look for HER?!
Kierain: Don't know, don't care. I’m DONE trying to fit in.
CC: You were born to stand out.
Barbara: CC!
CC: What?

Barbara: That wasn’t nice.
Kierain: Where’s Rose?
Bette: She went to the pub.
Kierain: Oh god. I better go get her before the same thing happens to her that…*stops himself*

Barbara: What happened?
Bette: His AFL idol, Darren Millane died in a car accident while drunk.
CC: AFL?
Bette: Australian Football League.
(At the pub, Rose is well and truly drunk.)
Rose: Esme is a filthy little slag!
*Kierain enters and she gets excited*
Rose: It’s him! It’s him! It’s the star of the Summer Bay Magpies! Yay!
Kierain: Rose, maybe I think it’s time to go home.
Rose: Yeah sure. I’ll drive. *smiles*
Kierain: No, you won't! *takes the keys*
*Rose hears the kids slag Kierain and sees red*
Rose: HEY, YOU SIMPLETONS! LEAVE HIM ALONE!
Tug: Oh rack off you drunken s**t!
Kierain: Forget it, Rose. I don't need these narbos!
Tug: You’re a spastic, Geaney!
*Kierain leaves. Rose goes after him*
Rose: Sugar pie? Why are you crying?
Kierain: I’m not. I got dust in my eyes.
*Rose sees through him*
Rose: Talk to me.
Kierain: I’m so over those dorks!
Rose: Oh sugar pie. *hugs him*
*Bette rings Burrigan High School when Kierain and Rose return home*

Bette: Yes, I want Kierain OUT of that school! I have had it with your students bullying him all the damn time!
Peter: What happened?
*Bette tells Peter what happened outside the pub*
Peter: Is that right?!
Bette: YES!
(Sadie R and S enter Kierain's room where he is fiddling with the VCR)
Sadie Ratliff: Are you okay, love?
Kierain: Sure *puts the lid on the VCR stand back*
Sadie Shelton: What were you doing to the VCR?
Kierain: Trying to stop it being weird. *presses play and Dr Phil appears* Oh god! Not this guy!
*Kierain hits play again and a Southern Cross News update plays*
Alice Higgins: Residents in Wandin Valley have been told to brace for flash flooding.
Sadie Ratliff: Why is she and Dr Phil in the room?
Kierain: MUM! You better call the doctor again!
Bette: Right. I'll phone him right away.
Dr Who: You called?
Kierain: DO something!
*he shrugs*
Dr Who: What can I do?
Kierain: Hey, you're the time lord. Crazy crap is your department.
Dr Who: I'll fix it!
*Unfortunately, he makes it worse!*
Kierain: Ah great! Now Barney’s in here.
Dr Who: Oops. *leaves*
Barney: I wuv you, you wuv me.
Kierain: Yeah okay. Just get in the closet big guy.
*Barney does so*
Kierain: What do we do?
Sandie Ratliff: We HAVE to find a way to get us back into the VHS!
Kierain: No way! I like having more Bette's. We might be able to do some pretty fun things. *sniggers*
No, I mean Barney and especially HIM. *points at Dr Phil*
Barney: What’s wrong with me?
Kierain: I'm not hanging out with a giant purple dinosaur!
Barney: You are mean!
Kierain: Wait. If pressing play got them out, maybe....
Dr Phil: No!
*Kierain presses the play button*
Kierain: Oops! I meant to press record!
*Dr Phil and Barney vanish!*
Sadie Shelton: It worked!
Kierain: I know you guys have movies to be in, but I always wanted a house full of Bette's.
Sadie Ratliff: We had no intention on leaving. *smiles*

The next morning (Saturday), Atlee is getting ready for her first rugby league game. The Summer Bay High team are facing South Blackfield High.
Atlee: Here goes.
*the teams line up*
South Blackfield student 1: Oh look, it’s a girl!
South Blackfield student 2: Summer Bay High has a girl on the team! What a bunch of pansies!
Atlee: I’d watch what I’d say if I were you. DON’T underestimate me!
Student 1: *sarcastically* Tough!
Referee: The game starts now!
*Samuelu passes the ball to Atlee who dodges tackles from the South Blackfield team to score a try*
Paul: Go Atlee!
*Atlee raises her hand in the air*
Referee: 2-0, Summer Bay High.
South Blackfield student 1: This means war!
*During the second half, South Blackfield are leading the game 26-22. Atlee once again dodges some tackles and scores another try, bringing the score 26-24*
Steven: *to Samuelu* We sure underestimated, Atlee.
Samuelu: Man, she’s scored five tries for our team so far! Talk about skill.
South Blackfield student 2: You can’t beat us, you pansies!
Atlee: We’ll see about that!
*In the final 20 seconds of the game, the scores are 28-all. Atlee is in control of the ball once again*
Paul: GO ATLEE! SCORE THAT TRY!
*Atlee charges towards the end of the field and scores her sixth try for Summer Bay!*

*The whistle sounds*
Referee: Summer Bay High win the game!
*The South Blackfield students are fuming!*
South Blackfield student 1: What a load of bull!
South Black student 2: We were robbed!
*Atlee walks over to them*
Atlee: Who are the pansies now? *smirks*
Samuelu: You did it, Atlee!
Summer Bay team: ATLEE! ATLEE! ATLEE! ATLEE! ATLEE!
*The boys carry Atlee towards the locker room*
(Meanwhile, Leanne is at the beach with Paula and Ben. She is helping Max build a sandcastle when Edina Hobbs strolls over.)
Edina: Oh look at that! Morgan’s building a sandcastle! How childish!
Max: Leave her alone!
Edina: Shut it, you little brat!
Leanne: Max, go to your mother.
*Max walks off*
Edina: Oh, he’s such a Mummy’s boy!

*Leanne punches Edina’s stomach, causing her to groan*

*Edina runs off as Max and Leanne resume building their sandcastle*

In Wandin Valley, the Bette Brigade are bonding with Kierain as Bette has gone shopping.
Barbara: You are adorable!
Sadie Ratliff: He sure is.
Sadie Sheldon: Give us a kiss!
*Kierain kisses Sadie Shelton*
Sandy: Hug?
*Kierain hugs Sandy*
CC: I think you should hug all of us!
*Kierain hugs the Bette Brigade*
Kierain: This is a dream come true!
Barbara: It sure is.
Rose: I know what we can do! Dance!
Kierain: Good idea, Rose.
*Rose plays a Hoodoo Gurus tape on the stereo*
Kierain: Awesome! Come on, let’s dance!
*Kierain and the Bette Brigade start dancing in the living room*
(That afternoon, a car pulls up outside the Bridgewater Apartments. A woman gets out of the car.)
Sofie Formica: Here I am. Summer Bay - the place to be.
*Sofie grabs her suitcases from the boot of her car and heads inside the building*

*everyone applauds*

Diane: It means he's played his 150th game for Summer Bay
The banner is lifted it reads "KIERAIN THE KING OF SUMMER BAY PLAYS WITH BROKEN BONES CAN YOU?'
Harper: Broken bones?
Bette: He played with a broken hand in the 88 grand final.
Chrissie looks at them
Chrissie: It was FOUR finals including the drawn one

They see Kierain shove Philip and Martin away and run to the pocket

The umpire points in Summer Bay's direction indicating a free kick their way

he then beckons them toward Summer Bay's end indicating 50 meters

30 minutes later the score is 20. 9.125 to 5.11.41

Bette: I do. Wandin Valley is my home now. But I love watching my honey play for Summer Bay.
During the 3rd quarter Kierain loses a tooth

*Atlee goes over to the bushes and sees Paul still tied to a tree*
Paul: *muffled yelling* HELP!
Atlee: Paul!
*Atlee races over to Paul and removes the cloth that was used to silence him*
Paul: Atlee, I’m glad you saved me.
Atlee: What on earth happened? *unties Paul*
Paul: That loser Dodge did this to me. He jumped me from behind.
Atlee: That…b******! Come here, Paul.
*Paul and Atlee embrace*
Paul: I was scared. I thought he would come back and kill me.
Atlee: That’s it. We’re going to the police about this!
*A few minutes later, Paul and Atlee go to the Summer Bay Police Station and speak to Constable Janet Walsh*
Atlee: My boyfriend was attacked this afternoon.
Janet: Who attacked you, Mr Jensen?
Paul: Dodge.
Janet: Dodge?
Atlee: His real name is Brian Knight.
Janet: I see. Let me just look him up in our police database.
*The computer screen pops up with a wanted poster of Dodge*
Janet: Yes. He’s wanted for drug dealing and assault.
Paul: Well, I want him charged with assault and false imprisonment.
Janet: We’ll catch Dodge. I can promise you that.
(At Rhonda’s house, she has Heather over.)

Lois: Something very shady is going on and I’m determined to find out what it is.

Lois: I’m not the only one. Sarah Latana, our canteen lady, is suspicious as well.

In Wandin Valley, Kierain is spending time with Bea.
Kierain: It’s so great to be talking with you again. I’ve missed you.
Bea: I know. I’m sorry for mistreating you.
Kierain: It’s okay. It’s not as bad as Pippa and Tom used to do to me.
Bea: I know. Is there anything I can do to help?
Kierain: Would a hug be okay?
Bea: Just for you, love.
*Kierain and Bea hug*
Bea: Jump up.
*Kierain jumps in Bea’s arms*
Bea: Would you like me to rock you?
*Kierain nods*
Bea: Okay.
*Bea rocks Kierain and he drifts off to sleep*
Bea: Enjoy your nap, love. *kisses his forehead*
(Meanwhile, Paul is talking to Samuelu near the entrance of the Summer Bay High.)
Paul: Do you think Atlee’s a good asset to our rugby team?
Samuelu: You know for a girl, Atlee is quite good on the field.
Paul: I know. She’s such a babe!
Samuelu: So, spill the beans. What’s going on with you two?
Paul: We’re kind of…dating.
Samuelu: I knew it! I knew there was something going on between you two.
*Paul blushes*
Paul: She just wants to take things slow.
Samuelu: That’s understandable. So, how’s your little brother?
Paul: He cut his foot on a shell at the beach yesterday.
Samuelu: Ouch!
Paul: How’s your family?
Samuelu: Emma’s getting kicked out.
Paul: Why?
Samuelu: She applied for the dole behind Uncle Peter and Aunt Kerry’s back.
Paul: I knew she’d get in trouble for it.
Samuelu: Oh, and Rhonda’s leaving for the city next weekend.
Paul: Is she moving there?
Samuelu: Yes. She’s going to the University of Sydney.
Paul: What’s she studying?
Samuelu: She’s doing a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communications.
Paul: Sounds awesome.
Samuelu: It sure is. *smiles*
*the bell rings*
Paul: Time for another week of school.
Samuelu: I know. I’m glad it’s our last year.
Paul: Same here.
*they enter the building*

At the Bayside Diner, Sophie walks in.
Paula: Hello Sophie. I thought you would be at school by now.
Sophie: I came to talk to you about working here.
Paula: What do you mean?
Sophie: I could work here part time to lighten the load on your work.
Paula: Are you sure?
Sophie: Of course. *smiles*
Paula: Well, I am understaffed at the moment. It’s just me, Thelma and Bobby. We could use an extra set of hands. So, you’re hired.
Sophie: Thanks so much. When do I start?
Paula: This afternoon.
Sophie: Okay. Thanks again. *leaves*
*Paula waves goodbye*
(That afternoon, Maria is in her caravan cleaning when she hears a knock on the door.)
Maria: Who is it?
Lois: It’s Lois Crawford. May I come in?
Maria: Uh, sure. *opens the door*
*Lois enters the caravan*
Lois: Thank you.
Maria: What brings you here, Miss Crawford?
Lois: Mr Fisher and I had a meeting with Candice Stokes’ parents this morning.
Maria: I see. Was she reprimanded for her actions?
Lois: No.
Maria: AND WHY NOT?!
Lois: You see, we believe that your resignation wasn’t because of your Year 8 class.
Maria: *outraged* Get out!
Lois: I’ll find out what it is. You can’t hide a secret from me. *leaves*
*Maria looks frightened and angry*
