*Before Angie can finish her sentence, Sharon walks in with a bloody nose and busted lip*

*Kierain is livid!*
Kierain: That cow! *storms out*

(Meanwhile, Pippa Ross is livid that her plan backfired!)

*Pippa Ross and her cronies look angry*

*Police storm the abandoned warehouse*
Policeman: Pippa Ross, you are under arrested for breaching your parole! It looks like you’ll be back in the slammer!
*Pippa Ross growls in anger as the policeman drags her away*
(Back in Walford, Kierain is having a go at Donna.)

*Kierain advances on her*
Donna: Back away, you cretin!
*Donna punches Kierain in the stomach causing his appendix scar to split open*

*Sue Osman comes out*
Sue: Are you alright, darling?
Kierain: Hospital. The hospital or Angie.
*Sue phones Angie*

Two days later (Wednesday), Ailsa has opened up the new general store.
Ailsa: I’m sure the Barrow’s would be proud that I’m running the store. I’ve only got two people working for me, Celia and Alf. If anyone needs a job at the store please apply. Any questions?
*The crowd shake their heads*
Ailsa: Right. Enjoy the new look and enjoy shopping.
*everyone rushes inside*
(At Summer Bay High, Lois is in her office when Sharlene walks in.)
Sharlene: Hi Mum.
Lois: Oh hello, Sharlene.
Sharlene: Did I catch you at a bad time?
Lois: Oh no. I’m just writing up reports.

*Fisher pokes his head in the door*
Fisher: Uh, Miss Crawford? I need you in the staff room for a minute.

*Once Fisher and Lois leave, Sharlene locks the door before going on the computer and seeing the reports*

*Sharlene rewrites Lee Turner’s report with some rather nasty words. She also does the same with Lynn, Amelia, Amy, Kellie and most of Year 12*

(Meanwhile, Tug is walking to the bus stop when a car pulls over next to him.)
Tug: What do you want?!
*Three masked people get out of the car*
Tug: Did you miss Halloween or something?!
*One of the masked assailants grab Tug’s wrist*
Masked thug: You’re coming with us, sunshine!
Tug: Let me go!
*Tug is thrown into the boot of the car screaming for help as the people drive away*

*The woman jumps*
Woman: Fine. *runs out*
Angie: How’s your scar, love?
Kierain: Alright.
*Kathy Beale enters*
Kathy: I am so sorry about Kierain, Angie.

Kathy: That wretched Donna Ludlow punched his scar open.
Angie: Little shrew!
Kathy: I reckon.
Kierain: Press charges, Aunt Angie.
Angie: You sure?
Kierain: Yes.
(Meanwhile, Bev, Helen, Madge, Pam and Dorothy are setting up the guest house.)
Madge: Where’s Cheryl?
Pam: She went to get some food. Helen, what if we scare him?
Dorothy: I’m sure he won’t when he realises he’s with us.
Helen: Quite right.
Pam: But what if we do?
Bev: Pam, stop worrying.
*Cheryl returns with Woolies bags*
Cheryl: Ladies! Isn’t taking illegal?
Bev: Depends on what the reason is.

Pam: So what do we do?
Madge: Hey, the news is on.
*Madge turns the TV up*
Ann Sanders: Police have arrested Pippa Ross at an abandoned warehouse in Turrella. It’s believed she breached her parole.
Helen: We should still do it.
Dorothy: That’s right. Knowing Pippa Ross, she’ll suck up out of this one.
Pam: So who does what?
Helen: I’ll carry him, you will hug him, Bev will nurse him, Madge will kiss him, Dorothy will bathe him and Cheryl will feed him.
Pam: Helen, your back.
Helen: My back is fine.
Cheryl: What’s this about her back?
Helen: I sometimes get back pain for no reason.
Cheryl: Then, you can feed him and I’ll carry him.
Helen: But he doesn't know you.
Pam: She has a point.
Cheryl: What’s that got to do with it? *looks at Madge for an explanation*
Madge: He has a fear of people he doesn’t know because of previous abduction ordeals. Once he gets to know you, he’ll keep a close bond but don’t set him off.

Bev: He has a very bad temper.

In a shack not far from Yabbie Creek, Tug is laying on the floor as the masked assailants watch him.
Tug: Where am I?
Person 1: A place.

Person 2: How can you do that when your bound?
Person 3: Your Daddy owes us a favour!
*Person 1 reveals herself as Margo Gaffney*
Margo: You’re ours!
*Person’s 2 and 3 reveal themselves as Rodney Adams and Frank Burke*
Tug: *to Margo* AYE, I know you! You hang around with that Geaney freak!
Margo: Shut him up, Rodney!
*Rodney does*
Tug: *mumbling* Let me go, bitch!
Margo: Frank, take Tug into the back room. *winks at Frank*
Frank: Oh yeah?
*Tug mumbles angrily and kicks Frank*
Frank: Argh! You little brat.
*Margo and Rodney drag Tug away*
(At Lois’s house, she returns home looking furious.)
Lois: What a day!
Sharlene: Are you okay, Mum?

Sharlene: What’s wrong?
Lois: I was disrespected by the kids.
*Sharlene hides a smirk*
Sharlene: What happened?
Lois: They made a joke about me touching a boy!

Lois: And that’s not all. The computer stuffed up my student reports!
Sharlene: Oh no.
Lois: Forget dinner. I’m going to bed. *heads upstairs*
*Sharlene smirks*
Sharlene: Would it be okay if I used the phone?
Lois: Sure.
*Once Lois heads to her room, Sharlene phones Sheila Tubman*
Sharlene: Hey.
Sheila: Sharlene, how are you?
Sharlene: Great! Our plan is working.
Sheila: What happened?
*Sharlene explains*

*Lois calms down*

(At Jennifer’s that afternoon, Miley becomes concerned.)

*Jennifer turns up the TV*
Jocelyn Evans: There has been an arrest in the Summer Bay general store arson attack. Brian Knight has confessed to the attack which saw Phillip Matheson and the owners John and Eve Barrow die in the inferno. He’ll front court tomorrow.
Atlee: SCUM!
Miley: Is that him?
Atlee: Yeah.
Miley: I wonder how poor Lauren is going to take it?
Atlee: Not well.
*Jennifer looks at the girls sadly*

Helen is talking to the ladies.
Helen: Have we got everything?
Pam: Where will he sleep?
Dorothy: The bed next to mine.
Pam: Are you sure?

Cheryl: How are you carrying him?
Dorothy: Sideways.
Madge: What foods does he hate?
*Helen gives her a list*

*Cut to Helen waiting for him*

*When they return to the guest house, Kierain is asleep in Dorothy’s arms*

Helen: Organise his records, set up a nursery. That kind of the stuff.
*the ladies catch on*

*Kierain wakes up*

Madge: *from the next room* I’m going to call an old friend of mine.

*Cheryl sees an article from 1978 about Vera campaigning for more wheelchair access on public transport*

Madge: Can I call her?
Helen: Yes.
(An hour later, Vera arrives and sees Kierain.)
Vera: I remember you. Didn’t you do the buddy program back at Wentworth?

*Flashback to 1987. Vera is screaming at Erica because Reb took his lunch*

Vera: Abduction is illegal, Madge!
Madge: We had to do it for his own safety.

(Pam is talking to Helen later)

*At 11:00pm, Pam picks him up*

*Pam smiles as Dorothy enters*
Dorothy: Vera wants to rock him.
Pam: But it’s bedtime.
*Vera takes Kierain from Pam before they go to the nursery*

*Vera takes Kierain to the rocking chair and starts to rock him*

Pam: *in an annoyed tone* It was his bedtime!
*Vera sees that Kierain drifts off to sleep and decides to tuck him in his bed*

*Dorothy enters*
Dorothy: Thanks for tucking him in, Vera.
*Dorothy hugs him*

(Meanwhile, Pam’s nose is out of joint.)
Pam: Bloody Vera. *enters her bed and angrily pulls the sheets up*

Pam: Vera just took over when I was taking Kierain to bed!
*Helen looks serious*

Pam: What?
Helen: For you to carry on like a child. *leaves*
(At 3:00am…)

*Dorothy wakes up and lightly shakes Kierain*
Dorothy: Kierain, wake up. You’re having a nightmare.
*Pam enters*

*Pam picks him up*

*Sharlene goes upstairs and sneaks into Lois’s bedroom and steals $500 from her drawer*
Sharlene: That’ll keep me occupied for the day!

(Meanwhile, Tug is still being held hostage by Margo, Rodney and Frank.)
*Tug mumbles as Rodney walks in*
Rodney: You want to say something, do you?
*Tug glares at Rodney while mumbling angrily*

*Tug nods*
Rodney: Good! *removes the tape*

(Several hours later, Samuelu is on his way to see a mate in Yabbie Creek when he passes by the shack and hears loud noises.)

*Samuelu opens the front door and sees Tug and Rodney struggling to break free*

Tug: These two pigs kidnapped me.

*Samuelu and Tug untie Rodney*

*Samuelu helps the guys up before they leave the shack bound for the police station*

Later that day, Vera is minding Kierain while the ladies are doing their errands.
Kierain: How’s the prison been since I last went there?
Vera: Still the same pieces of scum I deal with.
Kierain: I didn’t know you were an advocate for disabled rights.
Vera: I do have a good heart, Kierain. *smiles*

Vera: I wouldn’t worry about her. She’s back where she belongs.

(Elsewhere, Ailsa is delivering groceries to Laura Brennan.)

*As Ailsa leaves, she accidentally knocks Laura’s plant rack over. This prompts Laura to come back out*

Madge: About 20 minutes ago.

Later that night, Bryce is being difficult. Kierain has had enough and fronts him as Irene walks in
Irene: Hello, may I use your phone?
*Irene sees Kierain advance towards Bryce*

The next afternoon (Tuesday), Pippa is driving Sahara to the city to take her to the Sydney Dance Company.
Pippa: I really hope you enjoy dancing at the studio.
Sahara: Believe me, Pippa. I know I will enjoy it.
*Pippa and Sahara arrive at the Sydney Dance Company*
Pippa: Here we are.
Sahara: I can’t wait to dance again!
*Pippa and Sahara enter the building*
Pippa: Excuse me?
Receptionist: Yes?
Pippa: I want to speak with the artistic director please.
Receptionist: Pippa Fletcher, wasn’t it?
Pippa: That’s right.
Receptionist: Miss Doherty will be right with you.
*A few seconds later, Kate Doherty approaches Pippa and Sahara*
Kate: Sahara Van Havere?
Sahara: That’s me.
Kate: I’m Kate Doherty, the artistic director at the Sydney Dance Company. Ready to start?
Sahara: I sure am.
Kate: Before we start, have you danced before?
Sahara: I started dancing when I was 3, but I gave up dancing at 14 when I suffered a hip injury. Now, I want to return to something I love.
Kate: I see. Well, what kind of dances do you enjoy?
Sahara: I’m good at all dances, but acro and musical theatre are my specialty.
Kate: There’s a hip hop class that’s about to start. Care to warm up?
Sahara: You bet.
Kate: You can come too, um…
Pippa: Pippa Fletcher. I’m Sahara’s aunty.
Kate: You can come watch your niece perform. *smiles*
*Sahara and Pippa follow Kate towards the hallway*
(At the Bayside Diner, Adriana is eating a tomato and cheese sandwich when Charmaine approaches her.)
Charmaine: Hi.
Adriana: Hey.
Charmaine: You new to town?
Adriana: I arrived yesterday. I’m going to be the new music teacher at Summer Bay High. I start tomorrow.
Charmaine: That’s cool. What’s your name?
Adriana: I’m Adriana Smith. And you?
Charmaine: I’m Charmaine Lucas. Year 11 dropout turned TAFE student.
Adriana: That’s good. I’m glad to know I’ve made a friend in this town.
Charmaine: Where do you live?
Adriana: I’m currently at the local caravan park. Nice people.
Charmaine: I agree.
*Sue walks in*
Sue: Charmaine, you were due home twenty minutes ago!
Charmaine: I’ll see you later, Adriana.
Adriana: See ya.
*Charmaine walks away*
Charmaine: *from outside* Did you have to do that, Mum?!
Sue: Yes, I did!
*Adriana lets out a giggle*

That night, Bryce is continuing to test Kierain.
Bryce: Well, I’m off to bed. Good night, try hard!

*Bryce looks annoyed*
Bryce: What?
Kierain: I’VE HAD JUST ABOUT ENOUGH OF YOUR ATTITUDE FOR ONE DAY! FIRST YOU CALL MISTY A SLAG AND THEN YOU POKE FUN AT HEATHER ABOUT HER ANXIETY ISSUES! I WON’T ALLOW YOU TO BE A BRAT ANYMORE!
Bryce: Whatever! *storms off*
Kierain: That brat! *growls in frustration as Pippa and Sahara walk in*
Sahara: You okay, Kez?
Kierain: Bryce is really getting on my nerves!
*Pippa hugs him*
Pippa: There, there.
Kierain: So, how did the dance class go?
Sahara: I had a great time. I made new friends in the class and I’m only needed to attend class three nights a week.
Kierain: Really?
Sahara: I’ll be going Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights throughout the year.
Kierain: I’m glad I’ve got Irene to help out when you’re not here, Pip.
Pippa: That’s good, sweetheart.
Kierain: I need to talk with Irene tomorrow.
Pippa: What about?
Kierain: About you going with Sahara for the dance classes.
Pippa: Right. *smiles*
(In her caravan, Irene is drinking scotch while looking at a photo of her and the kids.)
Irene: I miss you lot so much.
*Irene continues to drink the scotch*

Kierain: Well, when Bobby went to clean her van she found a bottle.

*When Pippa hangs up, she storms after Bryce*

*Bryce is rolling a joint*

Pippa: For starters, you can give me that! *snatches the weed* Secondly, we are going to have a talk.

Pippa: I’m going to be phoning Miss Dohnal. She can find you another foster home!

(At Bobby’s, Sam is being difficult for her.)
Sam: Why can’t I go to Murray’s house?
Bobby: Because I can’t pick you up later.
Sam: Why not?
Bobby: Because I work at the diner until late.
*Sam grunts before running into his room. Kierain arrives*
Bobby: Hi, Kez.
Kierain: Hey Bobby. So, what time are you back then? *smiles*
Bobby: 10:30.

The next morning (Wednesday), Adriana arrives at Summer Bay High.
Fisher: Adriana Smith?
Adriana: Yes?
Fisher: I’m Donald Fisher the principal. It’s nice to meet you.
Adriana: Thank you.
Fisher: Here’s your class schedule. *hands Adriana her timetable*
Adriana: Cool. I’m teaching Year 11 Music first period.
*she heads to the music room*
(Meanwhile, Sharlene and Lois are having breakfast.)
Sharlene: Mum, you look tired.
Lois: I was up late redoing the reports.

*the phone rings*
Lois: Hello?
*no answer*

Lois: Blast! Anyway, I’m off to the school. Will you be okay?

Man: Good morning, Summer Bay High School.
*Sharlene just breathes*
Man: Hello?
Sharlene: Ah, yes. My name is Catherine Mellor. I’d like to file a complaint against Lois Crawford.

Sharlene: My daughter came home from school crying yesterday because Lois discriminated her!

*Sharlene makes up more lies as she goes in*
Man: Right. I’ll investigate it. *hangs up*

(Later that morning, Adriana is teaching Year 11 Music.)
Adriana: Good morning class. Take a seat please.
*they do so*
Adriana: Now, if you’re wondering who I am, I’ll tell you straight up. I’m Miss Smith your new Music teacher.

*Chantelle and the Mahoney twins look at each other*

Amy: Can I ask what year you were born?
Adriana: I was born in June 1963.
*Alex smiles*

Patricia: That is correct. Now, while watching Macbeth, I would like you all to write a report about it.
*Blake raises his hand*
Patricia: Mr Dean?
Blake: Do we have to?
*the class laughs*
Patricia: Yes.
Karen: Why do all of Shakespeare’s books have weird words?
Patricia: Describe for me, Karen.
Karen: I mean, why can't they speak the English we speak.
Patricia: The text Shakespeare used is what we call today ‘old English’.
Karen: I see.
*Brooke Mellor makes a snide comment*

(At the diner, Vicki arrives for her first day at work.)
Bobby: Hi Vicki.
Vicki: Hang on. Didn't that other lady own this place?
Bobby: Who Jacqui? She sold it to Irene before Irene sold it to Paula Morgan.
Vicki: Oh. So, do you own it again?
Bobby: Paula and I are co-owners.
Vicki: Have you got any work?
Bobby: Table 4 need their order.

Bobby: You’ll be taking orders until you finish.

At the Beach House, Sam is going through Kierain’s tapes.

*Leanne walks in having arrived back from school*

Leanne: Kierain is going to freak when he sees the mess you made!
*At that moment, Kierain walks in and sees the tapes*
Kierain: Sam, what are you doing?!

Kierain: Says you who has the Noddy theme song on 7!
*Leanne sniggers*

*Sam runs into his room*

Kierain: Alright. *picks up a tape* I don't even remember buying this one.
*Leanne looks at it to see a Mariah Carey tape in Kierain’s hand*

Kierain: Must be. I dunno how or why I have it.
Leanne: I think Sam tried to swap this cassette with yours.
Kierain: Kids.
Leanne: Tell me about it. Is it okay if I watch TV?
Kierain: It's your house. *laughs* Sam! Do you want to go to Mullett's?
Sam: Okay.
*Leanne turns on the TV to see a Prime Local News update air*
Jessica Beange: Police are searching for Murray Jensen who is believed to have disappeared from his house in Summer Bay. Police were alerted after he failed to come home from school yesterday afternoon.
Kierain: Sam, go find my Smash cassette.
*Sam does so*
Leanne: Poor kid. I hope he’s found.
*We see Jean Chambers driving a car with Mullet in the back*
Jean: What do you think you’re doing out on a busy street like this?
Mullet: Will you take me to see Tammy?
*Jean smirks*
Jean: Of course, I will.
*Jean rolls up the windows*

*Jean locks the doors as well before pulling into a dirt road*

*Laura fires at her*

*Mullet does so*

*Paul arrives home at this point*
Paul: Hi.
Mrs Jensen: Your brother’s been found safe.
Paul: What happened?
*Mrs Jensen and Laura look at him. When they’ve finished telling him, Paul heads straight to Mullet’s room and smacks him on the leg*
Paul: Stranger danger, doofus!
Mullet: *crying* She offered me a lift.
Paul: Do you realise how much you scared me and Mum? Do you?!
(Later, Jean sees some thugs pick on Kierain.)
Thug 1: GIVE US YOUR WALLET, RETARD!
Thug 2: OR SUFFER A BEATING!
*Jean stops her car so hard the tyres screech*
Thug 1: HIT HIM!
*Thug 2 hits Kierain’s stomach before taking his wallet*
Thug 1: Let’s go!
*The thugs flee*
*Jean chases them*
Jean: COME BACK HERE, RIGHT NOW!
*The thugs jump on the nearest train which takes off once Jean reaches the platform*
Jean: Are you okay? *hugs Kierain*
*she strokes him*
Kierain: *sobbing* My wallet.
Jean: It’s okay.
*Kierain just sobs as Jean picks him up*
Jean: Where do you live?
*he tells her*
Jean: Let me take you home.
Kierain: Thank you.
*Jean smirks*
Jean: *thinking to herself* I'm not taking you home.
*he rests on her*
Jean: Sleep well.
(Cut to her house)
Jean: We’re home.
*Jean carries a sleeping Kierain inside before kissing his forehead*
