Thanks for the heads up Elaine, I hope people are more helpful and less rude from now on.

I remember you from the old official site, you are one very keen Home and Away fan, was it you who you used to post the spoilers from tv.com.au for the overseas viewers?

Finally somewhere i can say what i feel about this.

I've seen people be really rude to nata recently and it's really getting on my nerves. It appears you all think you're perfect but let me tell you you aren't and this board is for everyone so build a bridge.

I think she should be applauded for being honest and it's a time the riddicule stopped.

Yes, I thought that too. I WAS going to post, when I saw some of those posts that perhaps English was nata's second language or something so people should be patient but I never got round to it...

Nata, everyone is good at different things. Being good with words is not a sign of super intelligence as some people seem to think. I may be good at English for instance but I couldn't cook to save my life (and I'm NOT joking! ) You have as much right as everyone else to post on this forum and welcome. :D:D:D

Well done, Elaine. As some of the Members correctly stated, it took a lot of courage to tell people about your learning difficulties. I have learning difficulties too, as a result of Autism (Aspergers Syndrome; or ASD: Autistic Spectrum Disorder).

Congratulations on saying that

It is hard to say things like that publicly

I don't find it hard at all to tell people about my Autism and my difficulty with socalizing.

But it's nice to see that everyone is so understanding, and not going off the rail for going off topic and I guess it takes some people a lot of courage. Well done.

It is off topic, but since this forum is where nata posts the most, it makes sense to leave it here where the people she interacts with are more likely to read it.

It's a one off though, so... yeah. Don't everyone go starting their own personal threads in the spoiler section

Good on ya Elaine for getting the courage to let the members here at BttB know about your difficulties. Sometimes it's hard for people to try and spell things correctly without getting told off about it. But I guess that proves some people find it hard to understand about these things.

Hey MasterHolden I also have mild Autism (as well as vision and hearing impairments) and I know how hard it is to do the simple things in life like learning and socialising with other people, especially when I was younger. But thanks to many people, I have improved alot over the years!!!!! :)
