PINK Posted April 24, 2007 Report Share Posted April 24, 2007 “Now be good” Jack warned as Jack and Martha dropped Rory off at Sally’s the next day, “Yep” Rory said “Bye Jack, bye Martha” Rory said as he walked into the house, As Martha and Jack walked back to the car Martha began to speak, “Well whatever you said to him last night is working” Martha said, “Yeah he seems like he’s back to his old self” Jack observed, “I’m glad” Martha said glancing down to her stomach, “I’m already showing” Martha complained, “No your not” Jack said, “I am sort of I look bloated” she continued, “You’ll always be beautiful to me” Jack said as he leaned into kiss her as he pulled away he added “Even If you do look like a whale” he said, “Oh you didn’t” she said, Jack smirked at her “You know I’m just joking” he said, “Ha-ha, funny” Martha said sarcastically” as they got in the car. “Jack, Martha” Rachel called across the room to them, Martha and Jack looked up and made there way over to Rachel, “Hey Rach” Martha said happily, “Hi guy’s you must be excited” she observed, “We are” Martha said clinging onto Jack’s hand, “Ok then come through” she said, “Thanks” Martha said stepping through the door with Jack behind her. Martha was lying on her back as Rachel got ready for the ultra sound, “Ok this will be a little cold” Rachel said as she put some gel on Martha’s stomach, “Ok we’re ready” Rachel said going around to the machine and started running the little stick across Martha’s stomach, “Oh my God” Rachel said as she stopped, “What” Martha said worriedly as she jumped to a million conclusions in her head, “What’s wrong?” Jack asked, “Guys you’re having twins” Rachel said, “What?” Martha questioned her eyes growing wide, “Oh my god” Jack said “wow” “Congratulations guys” Rachel said “You have two healthy little babies”, Martha stared at the screen as the realisation hit her “she was the mother of three” Martha and Jack were walking out of the hospital when Jack spoke, “So what are you thinking?” he asked her, “I have no idea” Martha said “We’re the parents of three children”, “I know” he said, “You’re happy aren’t you? “Yeah of course I am, it’s just the labour” Martha said “Wow” “Yeah” Jack said not quite knowing what to say “This is going to be one hell of an adventure” he said, “Yeah and we’re going to get through it together as a family”, Jack looked at her and agreed “As a family”, “Knock, Knock” Martha said as they entered the house, “Hey” Sally said walking out of the kitchen drying her hands “how did the ultra sound go?” she asked, “Yeah about that” Martha said looking at Jack, “What” Sally said impatiently “We’re having twins” Martha said still trying to believe it herself, “Wow” was all that Sally could say, “Your going to have your work cut out for you” Sally said, “Don’t we know it” Jack said as Rory came down the stairs, “Hey mate” Jack said, “Hey jack, he Martha” Rory said, “Hey, what did you do today?” Martha asked, “Oh” Rory said “Rick taught me this really cool pull my finger joke”, “Ah did he know” Martha said as Rick entered the room, “What” Rick asked, “I was just teaching him some vital social skills” “Right” Martha said as they all laughed… Martha and Jack were sitting on the couch later that night as Rory was asleep, “I have something to ask you” Jack said into her ear, “Yeah” Martha said turning her head as he stood up, “Stand up” he ordered, “Yes sir” she said as she stood as soon as she was standing he dropped onto one knee, Martha gasped as she realised what he was doing, “I know we are technically married but we’re starting a Family and I want to start our lives together as perfect as we can so Martha Jane McKenzie will you remarry me?” he asked, “As in a recommitment ceremony?” she asked, “Yeah” he said awaiting her answer, “Well I guess” she said acting bored but couldn’t keep her smile in any longer, “Of course I will marry you again you idiot” she said as he stood up, “Really?” he asked, “Of course, like you said we’re starting a family I want everything to be perfect” she said as she kissed him everything for once in a long time was going just the way she wanted. That is hilarious Great chapter though. Im glad Rory is being good now. And quads, oh my Lord, thats insanity. Did they buy a big enough house??? Apparently there are only about 3 surviving sets in the word, and they were born like 11 weeks premature, and they weren't sure whether or not they would have brain damage, but it was all good...anyway back on topic That chapter was so sweet, really cute, and I can't believe it; 4 baby Holdens running around, they really will have their work cut out.
