And, to keep to the topic: Good things: * GAA - especially Hurling "UP THE REBELS" * Cork winning the All Ireland - again! * Croke Park (yeah, there's a bit of a theme here !!!) Bad things: * The cost of everything (I forget who mentioned the cost of vodkas when they visited before the euro came in. All I can say is the cost of it since the euro will probably kill ya!) * Roadworks - Cork is demented with them at the moment * Drunken yobs - dodging puke on the way to work every Monday morning is NOT funny Hehehe I agree with you on most of that, except... They seem to actually do something.The Galway - Dublin train route will get one of those speedy trains - unlike the 300 year old diesel locomotive that rattles a few hundred miles across a flat empty island.The shops seem to stack lots of Oreo cookies Bad: Cost of things - Rich tea biscuits are like €3 a packet. You can buy them in Lidl for like 20 cents.The Minister of Transport feels the need to demolish a monument on the Hill of Tara that has been there for centuries, just to save money for the motorway that is cutting through it - which happened today. (Sorry, had to put that in Cant wait to go next year!) - St. Patrick’s Day - Schooling system ( Well in my opinion, we have a good system.) - Winning the Eurovision the most times Bad Things - Way to expensive - Bad weather - Known for people who drink way too much - Death on roads - Health system is horrible!!
