That can be arranged! How about you have to meet the deadline for the challenge fic and enter something or else there'll be some form of painful punishment that I can't think of yet! Would that make you complete it? I know what you mean about getting bored of things and just starting something new, I do it all the time. What helps me though is to have a real definate plan, a structure. I can mess around with the structure if I like but just having it gives me something to work from. Also as I've mentioned in the challenge thread, getting other people's advice on things really helps. When I'm stuck with something now I'll ask another writer who I trust for their opinion and just bouncing ideas off a few people and taking different viewpoints and suggestions on board gives me back my inspiration to write. My entry in the last challenge for example would not have been written if it wasn't for another writer's suggestions helping me overcome the severe writers block I had midway through it. Their suggestion gave me an idea with which to work with and I got my inspiration back.

Another great thread so I'm bumping it back up. I suffer from terrible writers block. I have to be in the right frame of mind to write at all and I get so distracted easily. I'm especially bad when I'm working on a major storyline and I want to get it just right. My main problem is concentration though. I have nervous energy and hyperactivity, always have and my attention span is awful. If I'm reading a story it takes me several attempts at reading different bits before I get through the whole lot and then I rarely reply at the same time as I read it. I'm the same with writing. It usually takes me several attempts at writing a chapter, hence the long delay in my updates. I'm also a huge rambler, I get carried away with writing things and then spend twice as long editing it! When I'm struggling to write the bit I'm currently focused on I'll pick up a different storyline or character or something I'm planning in the future and I'll write that instead. I find that by doing that I get into the swing of writing things again so I'm more likely to be inspired to write the bit that was troubling me. Also it helps later down the line when I'm struggling again if I already have parts written so I only have to make minor alterations, adjustments etc.

That was lovely! I suspect you have far more Pippa/Tom stuff in store for us. It's so sweet to see them working as a couple together and to see them as just humans. Also I love how genuine they are towards each other, how Tom drove women away except Pippa. Great chapter ILM, can't wait for the second half.xx

Quality update Anna, seriously superb writing. Poor Matilda losing her parents and coping with Lucas's disability. It makes so much sense to me why they'd feel this way that I don't really see it as an unconventional pairing at all, it just seems right. I love the depth you bring to the story and the way you make the characters so believable. I've been a fan of your writing since 'That Night' and I'm so glad you're writing a story I can follow. Great work! I thought this remark was quite rude. As Sevenpuddings said if you don't get it why not ask the author or specify just what you don't get rather than coming out with a vague comment. Fantastic Anna! I was one of the reviewers begging for more on your initial entry, which by the way was superb so I'm made up you've gone with this. You're a really good writer and I'm amazed this is the first non-challenge story you've put up here. I'm really feeling Matilda's pain at the moment and I can see exactly why she and Jack might end up in the situation they did in Red Wine. I'm intrigued to know who died though and what exactly is wrong with Luke. This is so interesting! As for the unconventional pairing, I'm a huge fan of them and I get bored of the same old characters in every story hence why in the challenge I've just set the restriction is specifically an unconventional pairing. Hopefully that'll give people an even chance at being judged on their story and not the pairing if every story contains an unconventional pairing. Maybe you could think of something to enter with if you have the time, your obviously pretty good at making unconventional pairings and I'd like to see what you come up with. In the meantime I'm delighted to be able to keep reading this, please continue.xx

ILM you've got me crying again! And then something terrible happened. Something so heartbreaking that I wish I didn’t have to tell you but this is Sally’s story and not mine. Milko turned and he looked straight at Sally. “Rack off!” He spat at her, his face contorted with hate. I loved the way you wrote that, I felt like a child being read to at school. Poor Sally! Milko you get away from those Philips boys and go back to Sally now! *pulls sternest face*. Seriously good chapter, the Sally/ Philips stuff was fantastic but I also liked Carly's backstory. I always got the impression on the show that Carly was the most messed up of the Fletcher kids but that her backstory was touched on a lot less than Steven and Frank's. Poor Carly. Some seriously good description as always. Lynn managed to elbow herself upwards and, half sitting, half leaning, looking like she was imitating some puppet doll, she rocked unsteadily back and forth, smiling a broad smile at Carly, her eyes blank. I could see that playing out in front of me. The night air hit Carly like a cold kiss and yellow lamplight streaked through the lullaby music of gently falling rain. Beautiful. You know how much I seriously love this story ILM, please update soon.xx
