  1. I love them so much thank you I know what you mean about that bit going too fast you have to press pause at just the right moment It wont let me choose the first one though because the link to it is too long, it doesn't all fit when I try to add it
  2. I agree with you completely. It says a lot about a couple when they keep breaking up. I'm not saying there haven't been some beautiful moments with Adelle such as the way she supported him through this drama with his Dad and his past sexual abuse and the way he started to show her support with her drug abuse. But it seems there's only a nice moment when they hug each other after revealing their big secrets they've been keeping from each other for the past few months The rest of the time they just seem to make each other unhappy and I get the feeling that they are only together because they feel they should be together, as they've been through so much as a couple. I like Aden and I like Belle but together, I'm not convinced they work as a couple, personally.
  3. Add me to the list of people who want a girl If were being specific, she told Irene she was about 4 months on the 27th February (I'm not that sad I only remember that because it's my birthday ) So technically she's now about 5 and a half months. I'm sure the writers will just ignore her having another scan and we'll find out the sex at the birth, which is more exciting! I think it would be 'kinder' for them to have a girl seeing as Tony lost a son, he might find it difficult seeing another little boy grow up who will remind him a lot of Jack. And it'll be lovely to have another little girl on the show seeing seeing as we have Ollie. Tony's bump rub was one of my favourite parts of the wedding. It really said a lot about how far he's come from losing Jack and how he's no clearly excited about the bub.
  4. Absolutely beautiful Tachel wedding avs
  5. Sorry to jump on the Tachel avs bandwagon but I would really love if someone could make me an av from their wedding where he kisses her neck, when Martha asks her if it's time to throw the bouquet. Thank youu
  6. I think the marquee was just where the guests were going to eat, they wouldn't have made for very exciting scenes Aww Karen you must have been waiting years to see HotDad in his wedding suit hehe. I agree with you, the wedding said a lot about how strong their relationship is and I just adored seeing Tony stroking the bump. I can't wait to see him be a Daddy.
  7. I made the mistake of reading the episode comments today before watching the episode itself so I was expecting to not like Rachel today. However I thought she was so so sweet with Belle. She left her own wedding to look after Belle and had to be persuaded to leave her side because she wanted to look after her (and seeing as Irene was away I thought it was nice that Belle had someone looking out for her.) Yes she had to be cruel to be kind but I don't think there wa any alternative to where Belle should be headed. What I most love about Rachel's character is how strong she was with Belle and when Leah asked if she was ok she brushed her off and persuaded her she was fine yet the second Tony came to check she was ok she showed her more vunerable side and just reached out for him and cuddled up to him
  8. Dan thank you so much for putting those wedding pictures up for us I'm really grateful. I have no idea where their honeymoon location is but it sounds lovely! I thought the little Tachel scene was lovely today, Rachel seemed to be feeling pretty guilty about Belle and I felt so sorry for her sitting there and then Tony came along and gave her a hug, it was cute
  9. ^^ I'm hoping she will do, seeing as they made such a point of calling them Mr and Mrs Holden various times throughout the episode  The bump touching was one of my favourite parts of the episode, apart from when the baby first kicked we haven't seen a lot of Tony/baby interaction so I thought it was a really lovely touch and represented how they're a little family now Tony's such a sweetheart! Sorry if this post is a little mushy but there were just so many lovely Tachel moments and I couldn't have been more happy with how the wedding was done so thank you writers! I thought Tony might have walked her down the aisle and I think it was really special how they walked down together as a family holding hands. I also liked how both Alf, Colleen and Leah touched on how much they've both been through as a couple and how long they've been waiting for this wedding (as have we!) as it made the ceremony even more special and reminded us how much they've had to go through to get to this point. The vows were also really beautiful, I liked that the traditional ones were in there, mixed with some extra special unique words. As I mentioned in aus discussion, I really liked that Rachel did that extra special something for Tony, after all the effort he went to for the proposal. He's usually the one doing the elaborate gestures and I thought that little bit was very cute, especially with Rachel crying and Tony's eyes all watery And don't think I missed him calling Rachel babe again Oh and the little pause when they were pronounced husband and wife before the celebrant had to nudge Tony to tell him he could kiss Rachel was sweet. My other favourite moment was the little dance they had when they were all snuggled up and Tony commented on how he didnt' think he'd be this happy I love loved up Tachel!
  10. This actually makes a lot of sense now you put it like that. She seems to always have a pretty accurate intuition when it comes to making professional judgements and is probably why more times than not, she's the character who always uncovers others secrets (ie Belle's drug addiction, Bridget's money scam) yet when her emotional side conflicts with this, she tends to make bad jugements. An example of this is when she told the other doctors that Aden didn't suffer a mental breakdown and knew exactly what he was doing. Whilst she eventually came to her senses and helped Aden out, she made a bad judgement when she let her emotional side conflict with her professional judgement (which is why she should never have been asked for it in the first place.) A lot of people mentioned how she was inconsistent with her reaction due the instant forgiveness she gave to her other kidnappers like Rev Hall and Charlie, but I think the only reason she reacted badly here is because this time, Aden's actions didn't just affect her but the man she loves as well. Because of Aden's actions, Tony left the Bay thinking she had left him for Hugh and she had no way of telling him otherwise and I think it was the fact that Aden had inadvertantly hurt Tony that was the reason she reacted badly, letting her emotional side win. I think there's still so much more they can explore with Rachel and Tony as a couple, a new family and new parents which hasn't necessarily been done with past couples who either leave the Bay instantly when the baby's born or hire a permanent babysitter. Having Tony being the half of the couple who has had children before will be interesting to see as it's stereotypically usually the mother who 'teaches' the father how to handle the baby. It's interesting what you said Kirsty about how Rachel is pretty much the only charactr with really close consistent friendships and how everyone always comes to her for help because that's in a way how Tony is as well, with the younger characters. The way he took it upon himself to help out Geoff and Annie and become a father figure to them is something that Rachel has done in the past to.
  11. Kirsty that chapter was fantastic. I know I'm always saying this but I just love how descriptive your chapters are and how you describe everything the characters are feeling and seeing. The Tachel scenes were just perfect. Tony had a right to be angry I think but he shouldn't have accused her of cheating on him with Kim. He was such a sweetheart the way he tried to comfort her though, such a gentleman I have to admit I did feel a bit of Kachelness coming on when you first introduced him but now I'm fully rooting for Tachel in this fic. I love how emotional Rachel got, especially seeing as she's pregnant and carrying Tony's baby. One of my favourite parts (of many) was when Tony commented on seeing a vunerable side to Rachel that only he gets to witness. It's very fitting to how Rachel is on the show and is just lovely that she shows Tony the other side. Proves how love they are Hehe... Kim. Dear me Kim, please give it up and let the poor girl get on with her life. I love how defensive Martha is of Rachel, they've started really delving into their friendship on the show and I like how you're reflecting that here. I really hope she's ok. I wonder if Kim is injured if that will bring up any issues for Rachel? Leah and Hugo, hate to admit it but I think they really work. I'm interested in reading more about this. Pretty please update soon!!!!!!
  12. I totally agree Di. I always liked Tony but it was the scenes with Jack's death that really proved to me how brilliant an actor he is. His scenes were so difficult to watch because he looked totally broken but amazingly acted.
  13. I can see where you're coming from here Jody. What I also find is they write Rachel's dialogue a lot of the time as if she if talking to a patient rather than Tony, her fiancee for example. I'm not sure if she's meant to be written this way but it can be very annoying! I wonder if the reason Tony & Rachel have gone through so much couple drama is because the powers that be wanted to get that out of the way before settling them down as the stable, mature, family unit of the show. They've covered infidelity, lack of trust and lack of communication and past demons, it's like they've got all the negative out of the way so they can start focusing on the positive. As the only soon to be married couple on the show I think they have so much potential and Amy and Jon are such amazing actors that there's a lot they can give them to work with, especially with the baby coming along. I hope that their near future involves issues they work through together as a couple and is not used as one of those "will they break up/get back together" scenarios. All I can say is if Tony worries about being an old Dad, I'll have one thing to say to him; "it's a little bit late to be worrying about that now she's pregnant"
  14. Awww Kirsty how can you think that was bad it was so so beautiful, you never disappoint hehe. I loved how you portrayed them so in love with each other and it's a huge contrast to how they were with each other when you first started the fic, it just shows how far they've come. I'm intrigued to see where you're going with Kim! Surely Martha wont help him take Rachel away from Tony? As much as I adored Kachel and for a long time wanted them together again, I think Rachel's more at ease with Tony and he's treated her better than Kim did near the end so please don't let Kim win You mentioning how seeing a happy couple together made Martha nauseous concerns me slightly that she will try to split Tachel up The vows were beautiful, just the right amount of mush. I liked that they were just simple vows, not over elaborate but just said how they feel. And Tony holding the bump while the baby's kicking The whole chapter was perfect and I hope you update really really soon
  15. Haha don't worry Karen, as Kirsty mentioned you weren't the only one to notice it! We were just to embarassed to say anything incase we were the only ones who noticed and you all thought we were weird So I'm very glad you bought it up, I dont feel so bad now! Who says they're not affectionate with each other hehe. I absolutely adore how Rachel and Tony are being at the moment, we need some light, happy relief with all the other dramatic storylines going on at the minute but unfortunately it is reminding me of how they were when they found out about the baby...then Jack died. I'm just hoping they get a few weeks of happiness before something comes along. Plus I'd really like them to have a storyline which they could deal with together, rather than them being against each other. I don't think the characters have run their course at all, they're soon to be the only married couple in the show and there is a multitude of storylines and issues they can deal with with the baby coming along. I think the show really needs a stable family unit on the show (just hopefully not too stable or they'll become boring!) I think the recent drama they've been through has actually made them stronger like Karen said. Unfortunately when a child dies, it can cause the parents to seperate (I know Rachel wasn't him Mum but still) so to see them come through to the other side and be this happy proves how much they care about each other and want to be together It was one of those situations where I really didn't know who I felt more sorry for. You can't really blame Tony for any of his actions because his grief was causing him to just think about himself which I think he was entitled to but for Rachel to have to put up with that and have Tony show no interest at all in the baby (apart from that lovely scene where the baby kicked) and say some pretty hurtful things to her really made me feel sorry for her to. Like she said when he bought all the baby stuff, she thought he didn't care but at least they're happy now (for a while )
  16. Yaaay really pleased to hear you're updating soon Kirsty. Slightly concerned about Kim staying involved, he better not cause any trouble with Tachel's wedding!
  17. It is amazing really! And I completely agree with you, as much as I love drama, I think it needs to be balanced with happy, couply storylines to which haven't been happening for quite a while And it's so lovely to see Tachel so happy after everything they've been through, they're back to where they were when they got the baby news (just before Jack died ) I would loved to have seen your post in vegetable haha I got sooo confused this morning hehe. I like relaxed Rachel to! I hope they leave her happy for a while and it's so good to see Tony happier with life now. Hopefully now Tachel and Roman and Leah (do they have a couple name yet?) can have fun little double dates like last Friday hehe.
  18. I think it's really beautiful they're getting married on the farm, Tony probably feels quite close to Jack there seeing as 'Jack' showed Martha a sign to buy it and a country wedding sounds so romantic I think the gym scene was my favourite of theirs today, they were just so happy and it was nice to see them in normal scenes again (Surprising that I like a gym scene I know!) and Rachel not caring about the details of the wedding, just as long as they were together Tachel are going to be the only married couple on the show, that's quite shocking!
  19. I've really REALLY loved seeing Tachel being happy for the past few weeks. Whenever they're happy they're just so affectionate with each other and it reminds me why I love them. I especially love how they squeeze each other when they cuddle hehe The kisses and cuddles in today's episode were lovely and seeing them all excited about planning for the wedding again. It was nice to see a change in Rachel also, how she wasn't stressing at all about the wedding and was happy to do the plans the next day. Aww Tachel
  20. Kim!!!! Oh wow....I was not expecting that Awww I really felt for Rachel, having to confront him again. I'm surprised Kim never mentioned her being pregnant! As someone who hated what Kim did to Rachel is was awesome to see him come crawling back for her and for Rachel to tell him where to go Poor Tony was all worried bless him You've really been holding off on the ceremony I'm so excited, don't leave me waiting too long now! I love how long your chapters are and how much description you put into it because it really helps to picture it. I also loved how Leah was giving Kim a hard time hehe and it made me laugh when Kim and Leah were both fighting over Rach, she didn't even get a chance to say what she wanted Looking forward to Tony's reaction when he hears Kim came back for Rachel! I think you got all the reason why Kachel in the long term would never have worked. Update soon pleeeease
  21. Happy 30th Birthday Amy!!!
  22. Yaaaay, so happy you've updated! All that dancing was worth it, I'm tired now though Such a lovely chapter, don't apologise for it being fluffy and light, it gets tiring reading drama ALL the time! Mind you that ending wasn't very light I'm agreeing with the majority here, I think it's her Dad. Very interesting! I'm so intrigued as to how this is going to pan out, seeing as the last time she saw him he was using her to get himself off of a criminal charge! Does he know about Rachel's Mum being dead I wonder? I loved the bit with Tony being all nervous, he's such a sweetheart I'm looking forward to his reaction, I hope he doesn't think Rachel's left him at the altar again And I really loved all the little bits with Leah, they're such good friends, it was really nice how Rachel asked Leah to walk her down the aisle as she hasn't got any family. Aww. One of my favourite parts was Rachels' cheeky little "something blue is for Tony's eyes only" This has me soo excited for their wedding! Please don't leave us hanging too long for another update!
  23. No not at all! Every Mum to be is different! I meant to add in my last post that that new top was gorgeous She's had some pretty nice maternity clothes. When are we expecting the baby to be born?
  24. I can understand why people would be irritated by it as it can be quite distracting. However I think it's very in character for Rachel to be stroking the bump so much seeing as she's wanted this baby for so long and has gone through a lot to be a Mum. She's lost a husband and suffered a miscarriage so I'm sure she's feeling quite protective of the baby and is just enjoying being pregnant. Some Mum's can't keep their hands off of their bump, trust me, I'm a midwife ;) Back to what you were saying Kirsty, I absolutely adore Rachel's friendship with Leah. It's one of the things that have been pretty consistent for the whole 3 years weve seen them on screen. Lately it's been a bit Martha/Rachel which has been good but the scenes between Leah and Rachel on Friday were a lot like the scenes they used to have when Rachel first arrived. It's really realistic and was just so lovely to see them both being happy and giggling rather than having to support each other through some tragedy like they've been doing for a while! I'll be really disappointed if as Rachel has absolutely no family who are going to be there, it's quite sad
  25. *joins in on the happy dance (hope you don't mind!)* Kirsty, you have no idea how excited I am!
