  1. Aww Loved the proposal I really really hope she says yes, she should do right, she is having his baby?? I love how quickly you update this and I liked the scene between Jack and Tony do, really good!
  2. Totally agree with you Zoe!!! It's amazing how much of a difference there is in Rachel already, she's all smiley and bubbly and I noticed the vast increases of kisses and cuddles between her and Tony And it's been a good few months since we heard her tell Tony she loves him,it was nice to see her really making an effort with Tony today, letting him know she wasn't taking him for granted and his support meant the world to her. And for her to keep calling him and make sure he was ok and to be worried when he said he got called into work shows how she's really making an effort to make this new arrangement work for all of them as a family. I agree also that I don't think he's struggling. Obviously he had a stressful day but that's just the demands of a new born baby (although Harry is massive ) and he's only got Harry on his own for 2 days a week. He's brought up 2 children on his own already so I'm sure looking after Harry is easy compared to that! He's been such an amazing supportive husband so far and it's lovely to see their relationship becoming stronger again now that Rachel's getting treatment for the PND.
  3. I really like this fic, there's loads going on with loads of different characters and I'm intrigued where you're taking this! You've captured the family scenes well, I liked the little brother, sister interaction between Tony and Gina and the friendly banter between Rachel and Julie. I also like the way you've got the whole community planning together to do a surprise for Rachel, it's really nice. I look forward to the next update!
  4. I totally agree I'd been missing them spending more time than just a quick gossip in the diner so was really pleased with the Rachel/Leah interaction before and after Rachel went away to Karitane. It was very sweet how Leah offered to be with Rachel when she spoke to Tony about wanting to go back to work and just be there for moral support and when she kissed Harry. It still upsets me that Leah wasn't made Harry's godmother. I think it's good for Rachel to have Leah around, not just as her best friend but also as an experienced Mum, it's good that she's got someone to talk to and learn off of. Their friendship does seem so genuine, I would really like them to do a storyline where we learn more about their past and what they were like back in the day, a high school reunion maybe
  5. Oh wow, just noticed you'd updated. Rachel's Dad's back Uh-Oh!!!!! Loved how Tony wanted to hit him but didn't because of Harry sleeping in his Mum's arms aww so cute, please update soon
  6. I think Kirsty's referring to a comment I read on the official site by a girl who had a transplant in hospital and Amy was either in there at the time or visiting and she gave her a lot of support. There's not actually a video for it, she got a bit confused, bless
  7. Thank you for the link Karen, makes it easier to read, I was quite shocked when I saw they'd interviewed Amy! Mind you they're getting more coverage than they did last year! I agree with you Kirsty! She is underrated and I think she's one of the best if not the best actress on the show. Actually I emailed them not too long ago about doing a video interview with Jon and Amy and they said they'd received quite a number of requests asking for a Tachel interview and while they werent planning to do one yet they were going to put them on the list and bear them in mind for the next one. I agree that they're probably not as popular as the couples you mentioned but that's fine by me, I usually end up hating the "super couples" because they get too overused.
  8. *faints* you updated??!!!!??? Woooow what have you done to Leah hehe interesting to see this side of her, naughty Leah! Her and Brad haha that's quite cute, I'm interested to see what Rachel thinks about it! I wonder whether she'll be ok with it? Talking of Rachel, that scene with her Grace and Tony was so cute. Typical man sleeping through the alarm I loved Rachels "Im not joking, now shut up. I'm sleeping" Tony totally deserved that, hope he sorts out his act and helps out a bit more next chapter. Poor Martha I feel sorry for her more and more every chapter, nothings going right for her. I really hope someone noticies and helps her out soon, I'm surprised Tachel didn't hear her smoke alarm going off! Looking forward to the next chapter, please don't make us wait that long again
  9. I want me a Tony He's like the most caring, supportive, perfect husband ever and I just LOVED the way he supported Rachel when he found out she had post natal depression. In his own pain and fear of losing Harry he could easily have blamed Rachel for not accepting his help but he didn't, instead he blamed himself, he's just such a lovely guy. He dealt with the situation to sensitively and he's just been amazing with Rachel all throughout, even before he knew about the depression, he tried to hard to encourage her abilities as a Mum. He's lovely Rant over
  10. Hehe well he is the most gorgeous baby ever I hardly notice them changing him although they must have used about 10 different babies, they're all so gorgeous but my fav is that little one that pokes his tongue, his eyes are so big! Ohh but then the one from Friday's episode had beautiful eyelashes! Aww they're all lovely! Amy did an amazing job with the post natal depression/suffocating Harry storyline and I think it was written really really well. It made sense for Rachel's character, someone whose used to being in control being totally thrown and feeling like a bad mother because she couldn't settle him. She has such high expectations of herself and doesn't like to be seen as anything less than perfect so the minute she struggles she doesn't like to let on. It took a lot for her to admit to Tony that he was right and she couldn't cope I think. I liked the way it took everyone months to realise what was happening with her and just putting it down to tiredness and new mum stresses because it's so much more realistic that way. It was risky and made a lot of people hate Rachel's character and think what on earth is up with her but it payed off I think because it done the illness a lot of justice. I'm looking forward to seeing how they handle the aftermath, I'd like to think we'll be able to hear her side of the story and hear her talk about what she felt like. My favourite scenes were her breakdown in Tony's arms at the hospital when she was fighting against this screaming "I did this Tony" when she told Leah that Tony should hate her and she's a terrible mother and when Tony tries to persuade her to talk to someone and she begs him to stop talking because she knows deep down he's right and she's afraid of confronting it. All really heartbreaking scenes and so well acted! There's a good interview with Amy on Tv Weeks website to which gives an insight into what Rachel was going through, hopefully we'll get to see it on screen but I'm not too optimistic!
  11. I agree ^ I can't actually remember a friendship which has been so consistent on the show for a long time if ever. I love how they ocassionally put in little memories from their past, it makes the fact that they're meant to be childhood friends so much more believable. I was really pleased that Leah was involved in the storyline and thought it was nice that she was the one who recognised Rachel's mental illness. Apart from a few coffee dates at the diner, we haven't really seen much of Leah trying to help her out but then again Rachel hasn't been letting on to anyone apart from Tony about her struggles so I guess Leah thought she was coping ok. I highly doubt Leah's going to hold Rachel's "we don't need your help" rant against her after seeing the way she was blaming herself for Harry's near death and knowing she has depression.
  12. 4955 just reminded my why I love watching Tony and Rachel's relationship so much. Although it's been a storyline which has been going on for months now, pretty much ever since they brought Harry home from hospital, the post natal depression storyline has been one of the best written of this sort in my opinion. As a fan I haven't particularly enjoyed watching all this constant tension with Rachel snapping at Tony and trying to take control over Harry but that's the illness and a very realistic portrayal. It's been sad to watch her struggling and not understanding why she can't make her own son settle and it's also been sad to see Tony putting up with it and not understanding what's wrong with her. Tony has been an amazing support all through it though. He's tried his best to encourage her abilities as a mother and I think he learned when he should and shouldn't be challenging her, just learning to take her moods on the chin. It will be a huge relief for him I think to know there was a reason she's been acting this way for so long because he was getting to the end of his tether I think. He was so sensitive in yesterday's episode and I loved that he was the one who was finally able to get through to her and when she didn't want to admit it, he left her and let her come to him when she was ready. He easily could have blamed her for what happened but he didn't despite his own pain and worry that Harry was going to die. It was so sad when he told Rachel that he'd lost so many people and he didn't want to lose her, he maybe thought she was headed for a breakdown if she didn't get help and so I'm looking forward to seeing things start to improve. I highly doubt they'll be perfect straight away as that's not the reality of post natal depression but hopefully now she's admitted she needs help they can start eo enjoy little Harry and be a family again. Harry. Is. Just. Gorgeous When he was clutching Rachel's hand all throughout the episode it was so sweet.
  13. I think the main point is Rachels role as a doctor is completely different from her role as a mother and that's why she's struggling, she's adapting to having to cope in a situation in a completely different way to what she's used to. While things obviously aren't perfect, I liked seeing Rachel and Tony coping together in Friday's episode. Rachel's now letting Tony help out and have time alone with Harry and despite the fact that they're both sleep deprived they're still working together at last, it's nice to see. The little scene of them snuggled up asleep at the farm was really sweet.
  14. I think we saw her not wanting to accept she needed help last week though, that was why they ended up having a huge argument. Then Tony actually putting his foot down, refusing to let her take Harry and not holding back with what he thought shocked her into realising that she had been too controlling and did need help. I think Andy not relying on her anymore also made her realise how bad things were at home and that's why she's now making an effort with Tony and everything is more equal in the relationship.
  15. What would have made it more believeable for you out of interest? I think it was the fact that it nearly ruined them as a couple that woke Rachel up to the fact that she needed to change and not take on all the responsibility herself, to share it with Tony.
  16. I agree It was really nice to actually see them working through things together on screen seeing as we never actually get to see them working through stuff, they're usually just fine the next episode! I liked how Rachel was taking on board everything Tony had said, actually asking him for help, admitting she's struggling to cope and telling him he had every right to be hard on her last week. It was nice to see them as a couple who are struggling with their problems together, seeing them both completely knackered and both trying to have civilised adult conversation. I liked Leah's involvement in it to, she's been there before with VJ and it's nice for them to get an outside point of view on things. I did however really like the scene where they both admitted that they missed Harry and it didn't feel right without him and got all excited at the thought of seeing him again so rushed out of the diner like a pair of kids to go get him I'm sure there still will be times where things might get difficult and they wont see eye to eye but it was really nice to see them together, all snuggled up on the couch and wanting to get home with Harry and not listen to Martha/Hugo's rants about John Palmer.
  17. I really liked Thursday's and Friday's episode, their argument certainly didn't disappoint I think Andy's been relying on Rachel far too much and she therefore feels an obligation to help him out firstly because that's her personality, secondly because it helps her to talk to someone going through the same thing and make her feel less bad (is that a word) about struggling to cope and thirdly because maybe it distracts her from her own problems. I don't think she was ever aware that she was pushing Tony away and I think him finally reacting to her and stopping her from taking Harry made her realise just how bad things were. I liked their talk they had, Rachel apologising and admitting that Tony was right and things had to change and also asking him to help share the responsibilites of Harry. I think she's been trying too hard to be SuperMum, keeping the house clean, caring for Harry and maybe she's felt that asking Tony for help meant that it made her less of a Mum. I don't think that just because Rachel's always wanted a child that means she wants Harry all to herself. For the first couple of days we didn't see her hold him once, Harry was always in Tony's arms. Then all the other situations happened making her fear for his safety, hopefully after Friday's episode she'll feel more able to lean on Tony for support and they'll be able to equally share the responsibility.
  18. Hehe just wanted to let you all know that Kirsty's away at the moment so wont be updating for the next two weeks at least. But she's going to update when she gets back
  19. Thank you everyone who made me avs I love them all I will keep changing them because I just can't decide which ones I like the most! If I can be really cheeky, would somebody be able to make me an av from episode 4913 when Tachel are sitting on the couch after Margo leave and Rachel kisses Tony's head. Also one shortly after she kisses him when they're both looking at Harry. Thank you in advance, I'm sorry I'm taking advantage of all your talents
  20. Oh wow they're amazing so many to choose from, thank you so much!! I will definetely be using a few of these if that's ok, wish I could use all at the same time I will credit when I use thank you so much! I really like the colouring and the smudge effect you used!
  21. They are all so beautiful thank you so much I can't decide which one to use next, I'm going to save them all if that's ok?? I forgot about that scene where Tachel are smiling at each other, a rare moment where they've been happy since Harry's birth I like the plain look, the colouring and cropping speaks for itself
  22. Aww it's lovely thank you After requesting it I did think to myself, I don't think there are actually any scenes with both Rachel, Tony & Harry in, the only ones I can think of is just after he's born when they're in the hospital, the one you found and when Tony talks to Rachel just before he goes fishing (although we could only see Harry's carrier not actually him ) I'm going to use it if that's ok?? I'd also love one of the scene from Thursday's ep when they're walking along the beach without text if anyone minds doing that for me, I like to change my avs now and then so it's nice to have a selection. Thank you so much Georgia
  23. That's something I'm confused about to!! I wonder if it's because Rachel is struggling to do it on her own but doesn't want to admit she needs help which is why one minute she wants him at home and the next she wants to be left to do the laundry! It would be in character for her if that's the case, whenever something goes wrong or something bad happens she always hides it and tries to act like she's perfectly fine. That scene of her looking back at Tony guiltily shows that she must know she's not treating Tony fairly. We keep seeing glimpses of her where she's absolutely fine ( like 2 weeks ago in the diner just before Tony said about footie training - she was chatting away to him asking him about his day) and then it's like something snaps and she just closes up. She hasn't actually told Tony what's wrong yet even though he keeps asking so I'm hoping that soon they'll be able to sit down properly and talk about what's going on. I can't believe they were only in one scene either. I know they've had a lot of storylines lately and I'm not expecting to see them be centre of attention but one scene in a week!
  24. You should definetely continue! This is a really good start and I'm looking forward to seeing where you go with it, always happy to see more Tachel fics Nice that it was all happy little moments I wonder how long it will last
  25. Could anybody pretty please make me some Tachel with Harry avs?? I would be forever grateful
