Episode 7651

Extended Summary

Tane turns up at the caravan park with the box of roses and hammers on the door of Felicity’s caravan. She wonders if the roses are an apology while Tane insists she gave them to him,  thrusting the box at her. He tries to walk away but Felicity follows and wants to know what he’s talking about. Tane says she’s been stalking him. Felicity protests that Tane’s the one that came there looking for her and shoves the box back at him. Cash arrives and Tane leaves, dumping the box in the bin. Cash asks Felicity what’s going on. Felicity says Tane thinks he’s stalking her and is annoyed when Cash asks why he thinks that. Meanwhile, Alf, Marilyn, Martha and Roo are chatting about the fundraiser outside the Stewart house. Alf thinks it might be getting a bit too big but Martha says it’s her idea. She suggests a black tie event and says they need to lock in a date. Roo says they also need a venue and Marilyn goes to get a notepad.

Logan is telling Dean about the painkillers but Dean refuses to take them. Logan reminds him they had a deal and Mackenzie points out the last time he managed to have a good night’s sleep was when he was in hospital on pain relief. She asks Logan if there’s an alternative. Logan says he could give Dean a morphine injection as a circuit breaker for the pain and promises him he won’t get hooked. Dean lets him give him the injection. Mackenzie and Logan go out into the corridor and she thanks him for his help, despite him saying it’s his job. Dean calls over asking for them to help him into bed.

Cash finds Tane at the gym, saying he’s there as a brother. He notes Tane and Felicity were hanging out. Tane says he ended it and now Felicity’s sending him flowers. Cash suggests she got the wrong idea. Tane says they both agreed it was nothing serious and if she changed her mind, it’s on her. That evening, Cash joins Felicity at a camp fire at the caravan park. He tells her what Tane said and notes she can interpret things differently to other people at times. He suggests that hypothetically she should stay away from Tane. Felicity retorts that hypothetically she’ll stay away from both of them.

Mackenzie checks on Dean in his room and tells Logan he’s asleep, sending a text to Ziggy. Logan finds some wine which Mackenzie thinks she must have left behind. She wonders if Dean will be back to his old self when he wakes up but Logan says this is just phase one. He notes Dean and Mackenzie are both stubborn people who need to take control and wonders what they were like as kids. Later, Logan asks Mackenzie if she and Dean were close as children. Mackenzie says they didn’t know the other existed until recently, explaining she found out about him from her father’s files and that they had different mothers. She notes now she couldn’t imagine her life without him. She goes to the bedroom and lays a sheet over Dean, before sitting in a nearby chair with her feet on the bed.

At Salt, Alf, Marilyn, Roo and Martha are having a meal conference. They are struggling to come up with a name for the event. Roo suggests Art Smart and Marilyn suggests Art Aware. Alf suggests using the same name as the auction website, When Roo wonders about a venue, he points out where they’re sitting. Roo wonders if Mackenzie’s around. Instead, she finds Tane at the bar and wonders if he’s there for a dinner for two, asking about his secret admirer. Tane says he’s not getting any more roses. However, when he goes to his car later on, there is another rose on the windscreen. He looks around but there’s no-one in sight.

Next morning, Alf runs into Cash at the caravan park and checks that he and Felicity are okay. Cash sees Felicity coming out of her van and says a quick goodbye to Alf. He offers Felicity a lift and she sarcastically says she’s going to stalk Tane. Cash claims that what he said came out wrong but Felicity knows he thought it. Meanwhile, Dean is waking up. Mackenzie is asleep in the chair, now with a blanket over her. She wakes up and notes he was out for twelve hours. Dean isn’t sure how he feels so Mackenzie tells him to take his time getting out of bed. She finds Logan, who says he found her asleep when he went to relieve her. Mackenzie realises he left the blanket.

Marilyn brings Alf a cup of tea outside the bait shop. She guesses he’s still disappointed about not spending time with Martha. Roo and Martha arrive and Martha says she has to call Mackenzie about using Salt. Mackenzie is giving Logan an update on Dean when she gets Martha’s call. Martha asks about using Salt as the venue. Mackenzie says she has a lot going on but then changes her mind and says to text her the details. Martha tells Alf Mackenzie said yes and hurries off to see Roo. Alf doesn’t look too pleased.

Tane is about to set up for a class and notices Felicity down on the beach. As he is unpacking his bag, he pricks himself and finds a rose in there. Seeing Cash heading for the surf club, he follows him in and shows him the rose, telling him about it and the one on the car. Cash asks if he or anyone else saw Felicity do it and refuses to accuse her without proof. Tane says he’ll talk to another police officer but Cash says they can’t do anything without evidence. Tane says he left the roses in the bin. Cash asks if he knows they’re the same roses.

Tane goes to the caravan park and roots through the bin. Felicity appears and, amused, asks who’s stalking who.
