Extended Summary
Brody has made dinner for Ben and Ziggy, who are both exhausted after a day of Diana. Brody expresses incredulity that she’d walk away from her daughter. Ben notes she thinks she’s the only one that cares. He decides to crash and eat later. Ziggy notes she’s glad to have Brody there at the end of the day and wishes Ben and Maggie had that. At the hospital, Robbo drags Jasmine into a store room and says he’s there to see Colby and thinks maybe hearing his voice might help. He asks about the policeman and Jasmine says they’re in every day checking on Colby. Robbo admits he’s under house arrest and convinces her to take him to Colby’s room. He apologises to Colby for not stopping Ebony, with Jasmine noting he would have died if Dean hadn’t found him. Tori comes in and is horrified to see Robbo there. She tells him to meet her in the car park and she’ll drive him home.
Back at the Morgan house, Mason is trying to stall Murray, who has turned up for a check on Robbo. Tori and Robbo come in through the back, saying they were feeding the dog. Murray gets Robbo to sign the form and then leaves. Tori explains the situation to Mason and berates Robbo, who seems depressed. Mason leaves them alone as Tori reassures him. Next morning, Ben is taking a wheelchair-bound Maggie for a day out near the beach. Maggie checks he has permission and Ben assures her he has a day pass. Maggie is upset that Diana isn’t answering her calls and Ben tries to get her to enjoy the day.
Robbo tells Tori he’s made her some breakfast. Tori tells him that they’re going to try and bring Colby round again and are hopeful. She tells him to stay put and he promises to be good. At the hospital, Tori, Mason and Jasmine work on bringing Colby round. They remove the tube and he is soon breathing on his own and opening his eyes. Tori calls Robbo with an update but warns him Colby hasn’t spoken yet and the police will want to see him first. Robbo asks her to ask him about Ebony as soon as he’s talking. Tori goes back to Colby, who is starting to be more lucid and recalls Ebony injecting him.
Ben and Maggie are on the wharf. Ben senses Maggie is thinking about Diana. Maggie feels guilty for not telling her. Ben says they knew she’d try and take over but Maggie points out they didn’t handle things well at first and her condition’s worse now: It’s not that Diana doesn’t trust them, she’s just scared. Ben offers to drive out and talk to her, semi-seriously suggesting he could kick the door down. Back at the farm house, Ziggy is enjoying sleeping in with Brody until she notices his review has replaced her trophy. Brody says it was his first review and describes her trophy as manky. Ziggy says it was the first and only trophy she got and storms out.
Maggie apologises that Ben’s day out hasn’t gone down as well as he hoped. Alf approaches and asks Maggie how she is, before kicking himself for the question. Maggie explains about the troubles with Diana and Alf notes mothers are stubborn, including his. Ben suddenly walks away, saying he has a door to kick down. Later, he joins Maggie on the beach with a notebook and pen. He says Diana might ignore a phone call or a knock on the door but a letter could get through.
Tori and Jasmine bring Colby up to speed on his allergic reaction, Ebony being missing, her being Hazel’s daughter, Hazel being dead, Robbo being suspected and the video footage of Ebony stealing the drug. Tori asks Colby to call Robbo while she delays the police. Colby calls Robbo with Tori’s phone while Jasmine keeps watch and Tori tries to keep Murray busy. Colby tells Robbo that Ebony didn’t say anything about him or Hazel. Robbo wants to go and look for her but Colby urges him not to hurt Tori and everyone else that’s helped him. He hangs up just before Murray comes in, then makes a quip about sponge baths.
Brody joins Ziggy and apologises for the manky comment but says he needs more space. The pair manage to calm down and Ziggy says she’ll find somewhere else to put the trophy. She goes back to their room but, after looking around, moves the review and puts the trophy back in its old place. At the Morgan house, Tori arrives home to find Robbo packing. She assumes he’s breaking his bail condition and is horrified but he says he’s going to go to the police and withdraw his bail, otherwise he won’t be able to stop himself breaking it. Tori follows him outside and tries to change his mind but he says that it’s the only way and walks off down the street.
Colby asks Jasmine how he couldn’t know about the allergy and Jasmine says he wouldn’t unless he or one of his family had a general anaesthetic, since it’s hereditary. Colby recalls his dad had his appendix out without problems and Jasmine agrees his mother must be the carrier. Colby realises his sister might have it and tries to unplug himself and get out of bed. Mason comes in and joins Jasmine in trying to stop him. Colby says it’s the first lead he’s had in years and he needs to look into it.
