Extended Summary

Everyone wants to know why Morag has called a meeting with Sally, Flynn, Irene and Josie at the beach house. Colleen is miffed at not being invited and being kept in the dark…again! Even the kids have to find somewhere else to hang out until it’s over. But what could be so important as to justify Kirsty having to find somewhere else to study while she still has exams looming?

Kirsty offers to baby sit for Sally and Flynn at their house while they attend the meeting. Unbeknown to Kirsty, Kane is hiding in the kitchen. Sally and Flynn try to get rid of her, but she says she really needs somewhere to study. To avoid raising suspicion, Sally and Flynn have no real choice but to let her stay. Meanwhile, Kane has snuck into the surgery – and there he must stay until Kirsty leaves.

When Sally and Flynn arrive at the beach house, Irene comments that she doubts Kirsty will get much study done after all. At this time of night she usually chats to Kane over the phone. Flynn shoots out the back and calls Kane to warn him. Kane’s mobile is in the spare room, not far from where Kirsty is sitting. If Kirsty calls him she will hear his mobile ring and Kane’s story will be blown. Kane creates a diversion and sneaks into the house to retrieve his mobile. He grabs it and races out, narrowly avoiding being spotted by Kirsty.

Josie has cancelled her date with Jesse so she attend Morag’s meeting. As a result, Jesse is moping at the gym and Hayley is teasing him. She thinks that despite Jesse’s protests otherwise, he and Josie are acting more and more like a couple.

When Josie finally joins Sally, Flynn, Irene and Morag at the beach house, Morag reveals Ian Osborne’s plot. She tells them that the millionaire is Tasha’s father. He wired the beach house for sight and sound (with Josie’s help) so that he could observe his daughter and decide if she was indeed worthy of his fortune. Of course, the others are outraged. Morag confronts Ian via the cameras in the beach house. She tells him the game’s over and the cameras must be removed ASAP. If he wants to get to know his daughter, then it has to be like a normal human being. Ian rings the house and speaks with Morag. He’s ready to talk face-to-face, but only with one person – Irene. Josie’s fate is left hanging. Ian says he will deal with her later. Irene is at first reluctant to see him on her own, but then realises it’s the perfect opportunity to put the final nail in Josie’s coffin.

Later, Josie tracks Jesse down at the gym and throws herself into his arms. She’s terrified that after tonight’s event she might lose Tasha’s love forever.

When she returns to the beach house, Irene receives a message that some one has called (Ian Osborne) and the message was that he is looking forward to seeing her tomorrow. What has she gotten herself into?
