Extended Summary

THE HUNTERS
Tilly and Henry are dealing with the shock of their dad’s affair in different ways. Henry is trying to ignore it and just be annoyed, whereas Tilly is coming up with all sorts of theories about how he wasn’t her dad. Tilly is about to head off to school when Beth tries to broach the subject. Tilly states that she’s worked out the truth about her ‘real’ father being someone Beth had an affair with. Given the current situation, Beth is very hurt at the accusation she was having an affair, and Rhys sends Tilly off upstairs. She sits crying on the stairs and Rhys tries to comfort her (why?) She tells him that she just can’t believe that her father would do such a terrible thing. It ‘s a bit of a ‘bonding moment’.
In the kitchen later, Max tries to be nice by pointing out that his dad wasn’t great either. he bites his head off because she doesn’t believe even her dad could be compared to Max’s because her dad didn”t just abandon the family. Max is furious as his latest attempt to be nice to her (why?) ends in disaster.

Henry gets in trouble for bouncing a ball in the house. It’s supposed to be his way of releasing his anger I guess.

At the diner, Colleen notices he’s upset and they discuss his girl problems. She says this girl obviously makes him unhappy, but the little twit still won’t give up on the brat.
She eventually comes and apologises to him, but nobody really cares because she’s such a little cow anyway.

KIM
Kim’s training in the pool with his dad breathing down his neck.

He wants to give up but Hyde insists he keep up his end of the bargain. Kim says he shouldn’t have to since he hasn’t been able to see his on, and wants Barry to give him Brooke’s address. Noah watches on as they argue.

In school, Kim barely acknowledges Tilly, and her friend guesses that they’re not an item, despite Tilly’s assurances that they’re just not all over each other all the time.

Later, whilst Noah and Jesse chat in the gym, Kim comes in and Noah comments on the training. Kim mentions he hates having his father training him, so Jesse offers to do it because he’s got plenty of spare time.

LEAH/JESSE
Hayley tells Noah and Scott that Jesse is the one who wants to move in.

Leah and Sal hug at the diner and she confides in Sal that things aren’t all right between her and Jesse.

Leah has prepared a nice meal for Jesse but before they get started he shocks her by revealing he’s moving out. She tries to convince him not to. He goes to see VJ.

At the diner, Leah is walking past Morag with a tray. Morag sticks out a jug and shouts on Leah to take it. As she’s putting it on the tray, she drops the lot, and Morag makes her usual snarky comment. Alf ushers Leah to the counter, away from Morag. She tells him that Jesse is moving out, so he gives her the rest of the day off and volunteers Morag to be her replacement. HA HA!
Jesse talks to Noah at the gym and Noah says they should work it out blah blah blah. After Jesse volunteers to train Kim, Noah says he can’t avoid his problems forever.

Jesse comes to collect his clothes and play with VJ, and tell him to eat his greens. Leah says VJ thinks Jesse is his father and begs him not to leave, but to no avail. He collects his stuff and walks out the kitchen door, with her still begging him to stay. As he leaves, she stands at the window, still shouting that he should stay…
