Extended Summary

Sally put Brett on the spot after asking if he was avoiding her. He admitted he has been avoiding her because he doesn’t want to take advantage of her break-up with Luke.
There are ‘Brett loves Sally’ hearts posted all around the school. Sally assumes it was Duncan because he has been staying with them and is supposedly the only one who knew about them officially seeing each other. Duncan is very sure he didn’t do it. But Sally’s not so sure. Little did Sally know that Kirsty had overhead Sally and Brett’s conversation about them being together.

Kirsty and Nick snunk off to the out-of-bounds area for a romantic little rendezvous, only to be caught.

Things seem to be going very well for Shauna and Jude, too, if the fact that they are sneaking out of rooms in the middle of the afternoon is anything to go by… Shauna was a bit embarrassed about it all, especially after Duncan spotted them.

Irene is still being harassed for her stand against the developers and it looks like it’s getting worse. Over night, her letterbox came crashing through the front window. Irene’s frightened but she’s not the kind of person you can bully into leaving her home. Fisher has been staying at the house and was lucky not to be hurt.

Fisher is organising a public meeting about the issue. That’s sure to be an emotional meeting. It’s odd to see Fisher taking on the issue, though. Not so long ago, it would have been Alf rallying the troops. He just doesn’t have the energy or motivation now that he’s lost Ailsa. He told Fisher that he’s tired of fighting everyone’s battles for them; he’s having a hard enough time fighting his own.
