Extended Summary

Joel arrives back at the Caravan Park very upset having learnt from Jesse that he and Gypsy are an “item”. He and Natalie sit on the Porch and reach a decision that it would be useless to ban Gypsy and Jesse’s relationship after what happened between Tom and Terri. Joel and Natalie talk to Gypsy after Dinner and tell her that she can go out with Jesse but there are some guidelines that they must follow that Gypsy can not go to the pub etc. Gypsy is amazed and pleased at her parent’s reaction to the news.

Whilst Tom is angry at the news and thinks that his parents are hypocrites as they don’t mind Gypsy going out with an older man but yet did not like Tom and Terri being a couple. Tom talks to Joel about it in the Diner and Tom ends up storming off after a heated discussion.

Jesse reassures Natalie that he has not taken advantage of being friends with Joel and her and that he wants to be open about his relationship with Gypsy.

He vows that he will take care of her and that he values his friendship with her and Joel. As they touch hands for a minute, Alf views this as a sign of Jesse and Natalie having an affair.

Justine having learnt that Ruby Collins (the baby) has died she considers attending the funeral. Tom tells her she should send flowers instead and when Justine mentions it to Rebecca she tells Justine they should discuss it later with Travis.

Meanwhile Vinnie tries to be romantic with Sally but she says that she has to go she’ll be late. Vinnie is hurt and tells Jesse that he thinks Sally is rejecting him, Jesse encourages Vinnie to talk to Sally.

Duncan is helping out at the Diner but is not enthusiastic and manages to trick Alf and stop helping. Alf express his doubts to Ailsa about the behavioural contract. However

Ailsa convinces Alf to continue making efforts – he can’t expect Duncan to have patience with the contract if his own father doesn’t either. At school, Duncan jokes about a notice for a bible study group. However a pretty young girl called Hope overhears him making fun of the poster to Gypsy and Justine and convinces Duncan to attend the meeting.
