Sophie and Sally cause a fire in the Fletcher house and Martin is interrogated by the police.

Extended Summary

Bobby talks to Ailsa about her new shirt which got ripped when Viv and Bobby mucked around. Ailsa suggests that Bobby ask Pippa for some help fixing it.

The cops question Marilyn and Lance at the police station. They swear they haven’t anything to do with the bank robbery.

Bobby asks Pippa for help with the shirt. Pippa is OK with that and will help her.

The cops don’t believe Lance and Marilyn when they say they are innocent.

Pippa shows Bobby how to fix the shirt using the sewing machine.

The police look for Martin. Lance told the cops to speak to Martin as he can tell them that Lance and Marilyn are innocent.

Tom finds them in the Diner and talks to them.

Tom tells Martin in Diner that police are looking for him to speak to him. Adam and Martin decide not to tell the truth. They will say the car was at a garage in the city since the car had broken down due to a flat battery.

Martin organises it so a guy at a garage in the city will tell the same story as Martin and Adam.

The cops let Marilyn, Lance and Martin go but the police will investigate further.

Bobby fixed her shirt with help from Pippa.

Bobby jokes to Carly and say that she is eating too much and putting on too much weight. Carly and Bobby have a light argument about it.

Before Bobby leaves, she takes a skirt which belongs to Carly to play a prank on her. Bobby asks Ailsa to make the skirt smaller around the waist so Carly will think she really is fat. Bobby pretends to Ailsa that the skirt is for herself.

Ailsa will do it for Bobby.

Sophie and Sally are cooking food together.

Sophie goes out for a while to borrow some vinegar. Sally is alone in kitchen. Sally truns the power up and accidentally manages to get the stove on fire from the oil in a saucepan. She gets very scared and it gets worse from water which she thought would put out the fire. The fire is now worse in the kitchen and Sally runs out as she doesn’t know what to do.

Tom manages to stop the fire. Sally cries and hugs Pippa. Sophie takes the blame as she left Sally on her own for a little while to get the vinegar.

Tom is angry and is yelling. Sophie gets very scared and thinks that Tom will hit her just as her old man would have done. Tom gets very concerned over it and calms down since he would never hit any of the kids. He promises Sophie he won’t ever hit any of the kids.

Adam and Martin got an idea on how to convince the cops that Lance and Marilyn are innocent. Martin will be dressed as a woman wearing a wig too and Adam will be dressed as the male of the robbers to pretend to be the couple that robbed the bank. They will be seen out in public so police will understand that Marilyn and Lance aren’t the bad guys.

Martin doesn’t like the idea of dressing up as a woman but will have to do it!

Lance and Marilyn tell Ailsa about being arrested by the cops.

Ailsa has made “Bobby’s” skirt smaller around the waist. Bobby puts it back in Tom and Pippa’s house where she took it. No one sees her doing it so she is in the clear.

Sophie thought she would have to leave because she stuffed up today. Sophie tells Tom and Pippa that she has packed her bags and is ready to leave as she feels guilty for the fire. Tom and Pippa say that she can’t leave. They also say that they love having her living in the house so she would stay.

Sophie tells Tom and Pippa she would like to be fostered by them. Tom and Pippa are surprised.
