Tom receives an ultimatum from above and Martin impresses the powers that be.

Extended Summary

Carly continues to pretend to be drunk in front of Celia to make her realize the youth centre needs a professional counsellor. Celia doesn’t know what to say or do about the situation. After that Carly admit to Celia that she isn’t drunk and that it was just a trick. Carly did it to prove that there can be situations that Celia won’t be able to handle as counsellor.

Celia walks out.

Andrew turns up just as Celia have left the office. Carly is very surprised. They talk.

Alf tell Tom that he will wait to buy the boat with Tom since he can’t afford it. They decide to rent a boat for the weekend anyway to go fishing.

Andrew speaks to Celia and they decide that Andrew should take over as counsellor at the youth centre.

Tom has spoken to Gordon Macklin. Tom and Frank will be fired if they can’t get the big Macklin investor, Peter Bedford, to sign a contract with Macklin Developments. Peter wouldn’t sign the contract due to Bobby’s behaviour during the dinner at Tom and Pippa’s house.

Stacey manages to talk Peter Bedford into taking a look at the contract shown by Martin. Peter is impressed with Martin’s initiative ways.

Martin manages to get Peter to sign the contract. Tom and Frank are very surprised and relieved since now they won’t be fired.

Stacey asks Andrew Foley to move in with her for a while at her place to share the rent. Andrew is ok with that but only if Carly say it is OK.

Tom tell Pippa that he will go away with Alf for the weekend to be out fishing on a boat that he will rent with Alf. She get upset since she feel that she are doing everything at home and hardly get to spend any time with Tom.
