Mr Standish was a member of the Church who was well known to Annie and Geoff and thanked them for helping clear up the graffitti and mess left at the church in the aftermath of Reverand Hall being revealed as the hospital attacker. He told Annie and Geoof that a Minister from Yabbie Creek would be covering for the time being.

When asked what will happen to Reverand Hall, Mr Standish explained that it had been decided that Reverand Hall shouldn’t return to lead the congregation. Annie protested that he should be forgiven but Mr Standish insisted to her that it wasn’t that simple. As Annie and Geoff watched, he removed Reverand Hall’s name from above the door.
